Fantastic course that is well maintained. Challenging course for players of all skill levels. My favorite holes were #6 and #18. Both holes provide a challenge in distance and rewards golfers with a scenic view as they approach the pin. I will definately return to enjoy this course again!

Tried reaching out to the general manager THREE times with no attempt on his end to return any of the calls after having an awful experience regarding my safety while i was there. Management is a joke and no one in that establishment should be proud to wear that title. Thumper Pond as a whole should be embarrassed. As locals who have been coming there for years and spending a lot money even during off season you would think they would try and make things right with how poorly staff responded to the situation. However, we have no problem at all driving that extra 1/4 mile to the Otter and actually enjoying our selves! If you are looking for a restaurant/bar that cares about your business and safety i would HIGHLY recommend avoiding Thumper Pond like the plague!

Awesome challenging Golf course. The fairways and greens are in the best condition I have seen in the state. Perfectly groomed. The service and food in the restaurant and bar was fantastic. Thank you Thumper Pond.

My sister and I went to Thumper on the Pond for her birthday. They were hosting a Little Texas concert, with Branded being the opening band, and they were both very good. We had VIP tickets, so we also got to enjoy a private buffet, including and AMAZING charcuterie platter, fried cheese curds, homemade pizza rolls, and desserts. There was a private VIP lounge where we could sit and enjoy the buffet, along with a good bluegrass duo. We stayed at the concert for awhile, and then we met a friend in Willy T's and had a few drinks and a chicken alfredo pizza. The drinks were mixed well, the bartenders were friendly, despite being hit by a rush, and the pizza was really good. I give the entire place 5 stars as a whole and I would absolutely go back.

We went there the problem 2-4 of March and had B-Day party for our Grandson! The service and hospitality was superb! From the time we checked in til we left on Sunday everyone was very accommodating! Would highly recommend Thumper Pond to everyone! The rooms were very clean and roomy and the waterpark was well staffed and very clean!

When choosing Thumper Pond as our wedding reception venue, we were thrilled and excited to invite family and friends out to the beautiful wooded golf course with amenities of having an attached hotel and water-park. When trying to reach the event coordinator after several days and messages we maybe should have looked elsewhere for a different venue. But, we stuck with the plan if having our reception at Thumper and pushed forward with our wedding planning. Overall the communication response time was very poor and we did not feel like a priority in the hospitality business. When hearing through the news about the water-park roof collapse we were concerned if this would affect our reception event. Again, after several days of trying to reach ANYONE to speak to we did receive a phone call/email back until after sending my wife's dad to visit Thumper to find out what was going on. We understand having the roof collapase does need to be attended to, in all honesty they are in the HOSPITALITY business where they gain great revenue from people such as myself and wife when wanting to host our wedding reception at their location you would think they may put some effort into retaining clients. Their lack of communication did not make planning our wedding very easy with Thumper. When it came time for the big day our original event coordinator was seen once. In order to keep things in line OUR DJ had helped bus tables and kept the staff organized. Thanks again for a great DJ. Don't worry it wasn't all bad, there are positives, such as the food was excellent, thank you to the chef! (we give you 10/10) When taking pictures of our wedding party they were lenient on where pictures could be taken and they do have a beautiful location which turned into beautiful pictures. I feel as though Thumper Pond has some great potential but is lacking the right organization and managing. Final comments, we are feeling a bit disappointed and feel much can be improved on.

There are two water slides here. One is a body slide. The other is a tube slide. There are single and double tubes to use here. There is a large pool that is less than four feet deep all around. They have a great splash pad area for younger kids with a small slide. There is a large hot tub. There are many tables to sit at. You do not need a wrist band to sit in the pool area. It was an overall fun experience especially for the younger kids who were with us.

It was a fairly good experience. The water park wasn't over crowded and the lifeguards were very nice and attentive. We ordered food to eat in the pool area which was a debaucle, the restaurant staff we're all disorganized and didn't know what was going on. The food was very good and priced appropriately. We enjoyed the pool and water slides. Over all it was pretty fun.

We went to Thumper Pond as our mini honeymoon. We were treated like royalty and had a blast! We opened up our suite with champagne on ice and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. The golf course was in great condition for being in October. The food was great and the staff was fantastic! I especially want to thank Stefanie at the front desk who multiple times went above and beyond to make us feel appreciated and welcomed!

Comfortable beds, but goofy room layout. Couch facing the foot of the bed, desk crammed in the corner, TV facing the coffee/kitchen area. Toilet paper dispenser behind toilet, and no handicap doors or ramps of any kind.

Recent revival with upscale features, furnishings and new menu. The cheese platter, walleye roll, and nachos are favorite appetizers. Burger's are pricey but above average for the area. Pizzas are good for family shareing.
Best of all is sitting outside on the deck overlooking the golf course.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the pool staff. On a Sunday we were not able to use the tube slides from 430pm till the next day! My kids were so unhappy that is what they had the most fun doing. The front desk told me the attendant for the tube slide had to leave at 5 and that is why they shut it down. The pool area was very busy and TONS of people were VERY DISAPPOINTED The desk clerk offered me a $20 refund on my $180+ room. I was offended and asked for the manger to call me and she has NOT called yet.

Recently went here for my sister's wedding. She met her husband here. She worked at Willy T's and he was a lifeguard.

We went to Thumper for the water slide and ordered food from Willy T's. The pool and water slide were super fun, but the restaurant service was terrible. The crew working in the pool area were very nice and kept the place clean.

For the cost of $7,000 Thumper Pond ruined my wedding reception. They knew the air conditioners were out in the building and neglected to tell us. We had 180 people packed into a room with sun shining directly in. Half of the guests left because they were afraid of fainting. They did NOTHING to fix the situation. We had to basically scream at the staff to even get fans for the room, which they denied having at first. They did nothing to prepare for the heat of a July wedding. I can t express enough the importance of avoiding thumper pond for a wedding reception.

Hidden Gem in central Minnesota. Huge resort with a water park, event center, golf course, and restaurant. I was there for a wedding this summer and it was great. Beautiful venue. Rooms are spacious and well maintained.

Water park are was really nice, but not quite as nice as it use to be. My family definitely misses the lazy river. There also seemed to be alot of people coughing after using the hot tub. I myself, having asthma, had a difficult time catching my breath after sitting in it for more than 5 minutes. Perhaps it's the amount of chlorine used?! There is something for everyone to enjoy. Willy T's Restaurant was also very good and reasonable prices. The rooms were very nice, but seemed a little thin in the walls. Definitely annoying hearing those in the room above us walking around, and next to us talking. Overall it was a good experience, and would consider going back.

Great place to stay however they should probably stick to the times they say the pool stuff is supposed to be open. They told us the slides closed at 10, but they shut them down at 9:30. They were supposed to be open at 8:00am but when I asked the lifeguard why they weren't open, they just kind of sat there and stared at eachother. Luckily they went and opened them then, but it was 30 min late. When people are on vacation they plan for things, and we were disappointed that they didn't follow the times they told us. We only stayed one night so we were relying on that time for our son to have fun.
