I come here often when I am wandering through the city centre. I don't buy any of the chocolate, but the street facing ice cream parlour is amazing. The price isn't much higher than other places and they taste incredible.
Nice little shop. We were offered a chocolate. We found what we wanted. A good selection of chocolates, Easter Eggs, Mother's Day gifts, toffees and even ice cream - in this weather! Pleasant staff, quick service. Would certainly go again.
A big thank you to the staff at Thorntons Fargate after our 6 year old had a mishap when her mint choc chip ended up on the floor and then 30 seconds later her second scoop of mint choc chip ended up on the floor . Disaster avoided

Lovely little shop with great products. They regularly have offers and reductions which is great. I went in for a box of toffee for a present and they offered me free gift wrap which looks lovely and professional. There were even free samples on the counter :)
A really nice little shop with fantastic staff that are friendly and go above and beyond. There is also good offers that are on, where you can get really good value for money. I am definitely coming here again and recommending this place to friends and family xx
On a hot day, our couple bought an ice cream at this shop famous for chocolate. Strawberry was delicious, but vanilla ice cream

Great place for chocolates. Staff are nice, offering plenty of samples. Big selection of different types of boxes in different sizes so you can get a present for anyone.
Really freindly helpful staff. Top quality products with some great special offers. You can't go wrong with the offers on different boxes of chocolates- loads to choose from at two for a tenner!
