I'm from Thunder Bay, Ontario, and was up north for a funeral. Just before heading back to Thunder Bay, my low tire pressure light went on, probably because of the cold. Regardless, to make sure the tires were okay, I dropped in at Thompson Ford to see if they'd throw some free air in them for me. Not only did they do this, they invited me in to the service garage, out of the cold, and the kind mechanic checked all of the tires, put the air in them as needed (which wasn't much), and then reprogrammed the sensors, all free of charge!!! I was very grateful, Thompson Ford!!! Thank you so much! The tires held up, and the dash alarm hasn't come back on yet! Sure pays off to drive a Ford! Best service I've received from a Ford Dealership, to date! And I didn't even buy my truck there! However, I'd consider buying my next truck from them!!! Thank you once again, Thompson Ford!!! Customer service has improved a lot! I do like the text message that I get the day before to remind me of my car appointment. However, the response time with the courtesy ride ride was a little off this time around. I waited half an hour, before I had to call my dad to pick me up. I think they need to pay closer attention to that and take notice when the customer has been waiting too long. Other then that, the service is always good.

It was that time of year again to get my winter tires on. As always, Thompson Ford scheduled me an appointment ASAP. They were on time and spent time explaining both the service to my vehicle and my tire swap. They are very friendly and always go above and beyond when I visit. Can't imagine driving anything but a Ford. Thank you again for the incredible customer service.

Brought it in multiple failures under the hood, Shannon at the service desk was very helpful in getting me back on the road. repairs were done in a timely manner considering the issues. I'm a Millwright mechanic by trade and if it's out of my scope of training or I don't have the equipment to do the job myself, I will take it nowhere else but Thompson Ford.

Service was great but I was not happy to hear I had to pay for my air filter when I have the prepaid maintence package. The workers always go out of their way to help and fit me in for appointments!

I like the service here, they listened to my budget and helped me make a decision on what vehicle would best suit my needs. I travel a lot on the road and am happy with my purchase. I was impressed by their listening skills, I said what I was looking for in a vehicle and the agent showed me what their vehicles can offer. Much better experience at this dealership than the ones I have experienced in Winnipeg.

Wouldn't recommend anywhere else to buy your new or used vehicle, Joe is awesome and very knowlegable about what he's selling and just doesn't push anything on you he makes sure your comfortable and happy with your decision and purchase, I will be recommended ing this dealership over the others we have here in thompson. Great experience.

I had a check engine light turn on in my car so I called Ford the next day to see if they would be able to diagnose the problem. I was told that I would have to wait a week for an appointment since they were busy with most people needing to put on their winter tires. They said that I would be able to drop off my car before then where they might be able to service it in between appointments or if there were any cancellations. I dropped it off Friday after work, hoping that it would get checked by the end of Monday. Come Monday, it still wasn't serviced. A friend of mine ended up owning a code reader which we then used to diagnose the error, a job that took us less than 15 minutes. Having recently moved to Thompson, I haven't fully committed to any one mechanic/shop, but I would certainly give Ford another shot in the future. Staff was very friendly though!

Another shout out to the Service department. (I have left a positive review on Facebook before). I had an issue pop up with my truck, and needed it to travel on the highway in 2 days. The service department was able to get my truck in despite a busy schedule, and fixed within a day. Parts were in stock and ready to go. Thank you Kayla and Durant for making this happen, so I could hit the road with peace of mind. Much appreciated!

I have not been disappointed with either the service department or sales department since purchasing my Mustang in March 2016. Everyone has been courteous, friendly, and most helpful and I have always felt appreciated as a customer. My wife and I will definitely be considering the purchase of our next vehicle from the good people at Thompson Ford. Thank you for your many kindnesses.

This is a pretty mixed review. The staff were very friendly. On the flip side it took a long time to fix the truck with a number of delays some of which were not fords fault. Others were. At the end of the day. There are no major issues with this dealer. 8t just takes a long time to do anything. Likely due to high turnover.

In June I had a break in to my truck. Vandals smashed my window and punched a hole in my passenger door. Joe and his team (Thompson Ford Body Shop) went out of their way to repair my vehicle. The work was meticulous, and they kept me informed of how the work was progressing. I was out of town at the time and they accommodated me, keeping my vehicle secure and ensuring I had after hour access to pick it up. They worked with my adjuster at SGI to estimate and approve the work. I highly recommend Joe and his team at Thompson Ford!!!

WE have had fantastic service at Thompson Ford Sales. Recently, we drove into Thompson after a 4 hour difficult drive over some pretty rough gravel road. As soon as we arrived in the city we noticed that there was something terribly wrong with our 2011 f150. We immediately drove to Thompson Ford and they went above and beyond to fit us in amongst their busy schedule. They were very efficient and diagnosed the issue promptly. Please keep in mind that their service centres schedule was blocked, but these wonderful people managed to fit us in between their regular scheduled appointments and repaired our vehicle as soon as possible. We have gotten all of our regular maintenance done through there as well since moving to the north and they have been phenomenal to deal with in every area. Kudos to the Thompson Ford Sales ( service ) staff. Other service centres could learn from you. Thanks so much.

worst place to take damaged vehicles getting work done under MPI claim, take your vehicle to Winnipeg if possible. Service was slow and took three weeks to have MPI approve the damages. Ford should have taken some time management courses to be more efficient with their time to have the inspections done rather than wait three weeks then to still wait for It to be approved by MPI, all this without ordering any parts. Along with Ford having the worst service, MPI in Thompson is just as bad. If I could give negative stars I wouldn't hesitate for a second!!!

A++ service department and service advisors. they take time too listen to my concerns and problems. I never had a problem yet they always find a solution and fix it asap. I haven't bought a new vechile in years but the saleman was nice. (referring to Joe - great sales man)

More than any other new vehicle I've purchased before, my recent acquisition of a 2017 FORD ESCAPE SE has sent me referring to my owner's manual repeatedly. I welcome this entirely; being a senior citizen, this new activity keeps me interested and on my toes. The sheer abundance of electronic gadgetry can be overwhelming at first, however I don't doubt that I will be able to get familiar with most of it within the next few weeks. The biggest impression I get is from the gutsy little 1.5 L motor. It can propel me to full cruising speed faster than any other vehicle I've ever owned. The transmission is equally remarkable; I can hear it shifting three times before I drive off of my parking lot. As I mentioned above, I'm a senior citizen and my new 2017 FORD ESCAPE SE will probably be my final vehicle. It suits my needs for the time being as I'm sure it will in the future.

Awesome service. I emailed them what I was looking for and they had one in stock. It was ready and full all the paperwork was ready to be signed and in about an hour we were on the highway in our new 2017 Ford Explorer to enjoy our vacation

I purchased a 2017 Ford Edge 1 week ago. This was the most positive experience I have had when dealing with a vehicle dealership. Art was my Sales Representative who worked with me over the phone and found the vehicle that met my needs and budget. In the matter of three days the vehicle was here in Thompson ready for me. Never once did I feel pressured into purchasing. The communication over the phone was always positive, he kept me informed every step of the way as he searched for the vehicle I wanted. The other staff members who came to greet me on Saturday when I picked up my vehicle were awesome. (Joe, Buddy, Kevin, and Paul). Everyone was pleasant and contributed to my positive experience. Any of you Thompson citizens looking for a vehicle, I highly recommend Thompson Ford! You won't be disappointed.. As for the Edge, great decision for me. I love it!

Terrible customer service. Replaced broken block heater plug with yellow self wiring plug. Cost over $100. Could have done that myself. Did not give me the option of the genuine Ford replacement part.

I just recently purchased a New 2016 Ford Truck in Thompson. My experience was excellent! The quality of service was excellent and the sales representative Ashley Macumber was number #1 and her sales team were fast and efficient. I was greeted so kindly by the sales manager Buddy who I welcome back, he reminds me of a big Teddy Bear. Thank you for the awesome services and I highly recommend Thompson Ford on your next purchase on your next vehicle. I love my new Truck.

A friend of ours was down from Gillam with her two 6 month old twins and her 2 year old. SUV was shutting down because of her throttle body.. texted Paul about the situation at 830 am on a Saturday and they had her on the road by 11 am. Beauty service.
