After we received a few quotes from a dealership and a few other auto repair shops estimating the cost to fix my wife's car, we decided to get rid of it and buy a new one... then a friend told us to call Thompson Enterprises. Reluctantly, we did; and now, my wife couldn't be happier! The customer service was outstanding, the wait times were nonexistent, and the savings were mind blowing. Once they had the parts, the car was not only repaired by the end of the day, but it was completely detailed and spotless when they returned it! I have a first generation first m edition 1994 miata which is my baby. Very few people allowed to work on her let alone do bodywork and paint. Color is very tricky, metallic blue green called Montego blue.

I took my 2004 Impala SS to get a stereo installed and to say that Thompson Enterprises went above and beyond is a huge understatement. I had an undiagnosed leak in my trunk and had I taken my car anywhere else it might have gone unnoticed and could have ruined thousands of dollars of equipment.They treat your car as if it were their own and the installation work is stellar and this thing is ready for a car show. They went through and tightened up everything so there is zero rattling and do so many other things too many to list to make sure the car was in top shape. If they would have just installed my stereo, just would have done the work I asked, I'd have given them 5 stars because of how good they did but how many stars do you give a company who not only does exceptional work but is your advocate, who treats you family, who puts their heart and soul into everything they do, down to every bolt they tighten. The car I got back was not the car I dropped off, the one they gave me is infinity better. So I give them GALAXY of stars rating.

I called for a tow truck at 9:15am and it was picked up and delivered to my mechanic by 10:15am. Very efficient, professional, courteous and affordable.
I had my 17 year old Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 towed to Thompson Enterprises (T.E.) following a minor crash. What a stroke of good luck that was. T.E. is a small family owned business run by good, salt-of-the-earth folks. Mike is the owner and manages the shop and his lovely sister and mom, Rebecca and Vicky run the front office. You are in good hands here, as I will explain:
The damage to my truck was superficially minor, but mechanically complex as it was to the front end of a 3/4 ton diesel 4x4. Mike really seemed to know his stuff, so I decided to get the rest of the truck painted and some other little nags fixed since I had it in the shop and the old girl was showing her age.
To say that Mike and the T.E. crew exceeded my expectations would be gross understatement and disservice. They hit it out of the park on so many levels. Not only was the crash damage challenging, but it was fixed expertly and the rest of the body work is something to see to believe.
There are a hundred ways a body shop can make a little extra by cutting a corner here and there. Not only did Mike and crew not cut any corners, they did things the right way at every turn. The old girl was full of little surprises, and it would take a mile of space to list each issue that Mike found and fixed right, versus the cheaper quicker route. One example of this was finding rust in an out of sight interior door panel. 95% of shops would have left it since fixing it costs them money, leaving it to rust through in a few years. Mike calls and lets me know that it'll take a few days more because they are cutting it out and welding in a clean piece of steel. All for the price quoted originally.
Taking a little extra time to get the job done right pays huge dividends in customer satisfaction, business reputation, and mutual peace of mind. I wish more businesses were like this one.

I recently purchased a used vehicle, and I wanted to be sure that it was in good shape. On a friends recommendation, I called Thompson Enterprises and made an appointment to have the car inspected. For such a small job, I expected that it would be treated as such and just glanced over, but I was wrong. They went over the vehicle very thoroughly, and pointed out to me everything about the car that was good and bad, and made just a few recommendations on what the dealer should take care of during the warranty. I'm very happy to say they treated me like any of their big clients, with lots of attention to detail, and they were very courteous and professional. I've never reviewed an automotive repair center before because I've never had reason to, but these guys were top notch, and I really appreciated the way they treated me. I'll definitely return for any repairs my wife and I might need in the future, and recommend them to anyone in northeast Florida.

I own a 2005 Mercedes E320 CDI, which as a diesel requires extra special care and handling. After several years of significant wear and tear, both from the mechanical and cosmetic sides, it was time for a complete overhaul. Mike, along with his family and staff, made sure that it that is was job that was done right and more than exceeded my wildest expectations.
To name just a few of the items covered he painted the body, refinished my wheels, changed my tires and ball joints, reset my computer system ,repaired both quarter panels and fixed my front fender and lights. Oh and I had a full detailing as well!
Amazingly, despite using Dupont paint and Mercedes certified parts, the price came in at the same as one of the competitors quoted just for the paint.

Took my 2001 Mustang V6 base Convertible for a restoration job, Mike (the owner) was excited to work on my car but unfortunately much to his regret he had to be the bearer of bad news, my car is beyond repair. I was heartbroken, Mike was very upset about this turn of events and as such is helping me with making sure my next car is in good condition with no hidden surprise. Furthermore I would like to mention their honesty, many other shops would have done the work and sent me on my way without me being any wiser. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that has any work to do on their car, Mike truly loves Mustangs and cars in general. Simply put, beyond outstanding service.
When it was Bailey's we had a great experience. So I figured I would take our other vehicle there...Bailey retired and sold the business to one of the employees I gathered. Mike Thompson talks a great talk. Unfortunately he needs to work on his business practices and professionalism. Not saying that they do not do good work, they do great body and paint work, but either they are still learning the ropes or just haven't developed the skills to run the business side yet. We have bent over backwards trying to accommodate their schedule on several occasions because we wanted the work done there. But, this last experience means we unfortunately will have to have the work done elsewhere.
* Dropped vehicle off in October on a Friday. Mike's mother calls me on the following Monday to say they are not going to be able to paint the vehicle due to an employee's family problems necessitating a leave of absence so they didn't know when they would be able to do the vehicle. So they put it back together and we pick up the vehicle and after talking with them agree to check back to see if they are are able to schedule at a later date.
*A few weeks later we check in with Mike to see if his labor problems have been resolved or not. We go by the shop to talk with him and his sister talks with Mike and she says he told her to have us drop the vehicle off on 29th of November. Both my wife and son heard them confirm the date and even watched them look it up on the calendar. They agreed to have us drop it off that Friday and would have a loaner for us.
*Show up 11/29 to drop off vehicle. Mike's sister says she doesn't see us on the drop off schedule and they don't have a loaner available. I don't know if she "forgot" to put it in the book or what, but she proceeded to basically hide for the next 20 minutes a few feet away out of sight..only reason we knew she was still there was a parts guy making a delivery looked behind the wall to find her standing there.... about 15 minutes later Mike shows up and says he doesn't know why we are there. That they don't have us on the schedule and don't even know when they could put us on the schedule. His sister (still hiding) would have put us on the book if they had scheduled something. I explained his sister was the one who told us he said to schedule the 29th and he says that's not possible. C'mon...we didn't pick the date...you guys did...but now both he and his sister deny it like my wife and son are going to make it up? I asked Mike if they just didn't want to do the vehicle to let us know instead of repeatedly putting us off. He said they did but again at this point could not do it at all in December because he was having a baby. Look, I'm not heartless, but that has nothing to do with us or our vehicle. At this point he suggests we call back in January to see if something comes open or not. Gotta say Mike, overall... very unprofessional. A few tips from someone dealing with customer service businesses for almost 30 years(Not that I know it all, but I've see a lot)
* Don't accept work without being sure you can do it.
* Don't make promises you can't keep.
* Put it in writing...so there's no room for confusion or misunderstandings.
* If you make a mistake...admit it. Everyone is human and makes mistakes, but don't pretend it never happened or basically call the customer a liar.
*Make time- if a repeat customer has tried to schedule with you for three months and now you tell them to wait a fourth month just to wait and see...don't. Either commit to a schedule and stick to it no matter what...or tell the customer to walk. You think they are going to get mad and see it as rude? I'm much more upset wasting 4 months and taking time off of work only to be repeatedly stalled and disrespected.
Met, the Man behind the name.. God, he is awesome! It's a breath of fresh air, to meet someone who knows so much about, what you do, what your going thru, and how to offer a shoulder, if just to lean on for a moment, and let you know...that you are not alone. Mr. Thompson is a blue collar healer, an angel on a four wheeled mule. His love and passion for family, friends, work, and service make me want to be better.
