This restaurant does not have their act together. I ordered a chicken and the two sides offered were mediocre. I brought in my own cranberry sauce since they have nothing to put on the chicken. I went out to make a phone call, and they threw away my cranberry sauce . I spent $20 for a small salad and a quarter for chicken which was overpriced for the quality.
My first time in I was greeted warmly by the cashier and she kindly explained how some things worked as it's not a totally conventional restaurant. The menu was pretty creative and it was very refreshing seeing such a wealth of healthy options to choose from. I ordered the chicken salad pita with grapes, chose where to sit and placed my order number card, and it was brought out within maybe 2 minutes. Reasonably priced, flavorful, and a surprisingly nice portion. The restaurant was clean and tidy, music was pleasant and upbeat, and it was just a really enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be coming back and taking some friends with me next time I'm around.
I was pretty excited to try this as I was looking for a place nearby with healthy options. I got a large unlimited salad (half price for the grand opening). The salad was ok, but the small cup of dressing was not enough for the size of the salad. I went to the counter to ask for more and they said they charge $1.50 for extra dressing...ummm what?!?? I have never been to a restaurant with $11 salads that wouldn t give you extra dressing if you asked for it. Anyways, I passed on the dressing because that just annoyed me, and then a manager (or maybe the owner?) asked us how our meal was and I said I would ve liked more dressing. He explained again that they charge for it and he couldn t do anything for me. I don t think he liked my reaction to that and said very loudly in front of all of their new customers Enjoy the half price salad! in the snarkiest tone! I couldn t believe my ears. That s not the type of experience I would expect anywhere. Based on how they treat their guests alone, I will not be going back! PS- the bathroom was pretty filthy too...yuck!
I have loved everything I have tried here. Honestly, there is nothing I can say that is negative about this place.
Tried it out yesterday for the first time. Honestly, not that impressed. Went around 1:30, so there were only a couple people there. Cashier seemed to be more focused on talking AT us instead of listening. I wanted to try to a carrot dog, and right away was told I could not get just one, which is just...odd. Why not? But okay, fine. Got one "loaded" and one with the standard toppings. Both carrots could have been cooked/grilled a bit more. And while the "loaded" carrot was definitely better, I found the toppings to be a little uninspiring. If you're going to call yourself The Carrot Company, wouldn't you really "do up" the carrot? Think Dogtown Hots, but for carrots - offer a bunch of different choices and toppings! And for Heaven's sake, let people order ONE. I might try it again, but I won't be running back. What I thought it was going to be and what it ended up delivering were vastly different.
Natural ingredients with a ton of flavor! The beef and mushroom broth bowl was delicious, very filling and under $10. I ll definitely be back!
This is an excellent place to grab a healthy lunch. I highly reccommend the infused broth bowls. A bowl of soup for $8.50 may seem a little over-priced, but, depending on how much you pack in there, it can be very filling. Start with selecting your base, then add your greens and vegetables, protein, then broth. The mixture is then put into a steamer. More broth is added and then you can add cheese and "crunch". It's a soup done Your Way and especially satisfying on those chilly days.
Great experience, food is good and priced right! Only thing is I emailed asking for a nutritional fact sheet awhile ago and never got a response.

I've heard nothing but great things about this place so I finally gave it a try and it exceeded my expectations! I got the quarter chicken with fries and sweet potatoes as sides. Everything was so good. Will definitely visit again as it was delicious.
The carrot dogs were delicious, and the falafel was very good too.
Great food! I never write reviews but this place had me wanting to. I'm so glad that there is an option like this locally. I can't speak highly enough about this place. Locally owned and operated. Friendly staff. Clean and inviting. I thought it was going to be all healthy food but was pleasantly surprised with all of the options. The steak sandwich and pork buns were spot on. Try the handcut fries, you won't be sorry!
We loved this place and will definitely be back. Wholesome, fresh, tasty food. Lots of choices. Clean, bright, with wonderful staff. Very reasonable prices and very quick service.
Very happy with take out meal. We are always looking for healthy take out options that can feed the whole family. The whole chicken meal is a great deal and there are plenty of vegetarian options as well.
Hotess/cashier was very nice and greeted us with a smile and being first timers to the carrot company she was very helpful when ordering our food.....we chose the loaded carrot dogs (Delicious) and a unlimited salad.(also Delicious)...the salad girl was not customer friendly. Even when we expressed this was our first time here. We felt like we should have rushed through the line. A smile, an acknowledgement to help would have been nice....
I tried the rotisserie chicken dish. Very delishes. $6.49 for a quarter chicken, fries and salad. You cannot beat the food and price. Good service and very clean and well maintained restaurant. Highly recommended.
I love this place! The salads are outstanding, especially the large unlimited- they re huge with tons of vegetables to choose from. (One container of dressing is more than enough btw, they have to be about 1/4c.) Today I ventured off the salad menu and got the loaded carrot dogs- they were fantastic! My meat-loving brother and father both thought they were delicious as well. The service here can be a bit uneven but it seems to have improved of late. I hope they open more locations!
went to their GRAND OPENING today and the place is very cool. A great atmosphere for lunch or dinner. Its got an upscale feel to the place. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. I thought my broth bowl was small compared to their very LARGE salads. However, it was very good. Definitely recommend going there and trying it out.
Mixed feeling about this place. I ate there for the first time shortly after they opened and it was delicious. I went back a week later and ordered a strawberry salad, which was also DELICIOUS! Unfortunately, about an hour after finishing my salad I threw it all up. Turns out they were reported to the health department for not storing their fresh foods correctly. So great food! But be careful you don't get sick...

The wegmans of quick food. Not a drive in fast food joint but just as fast! It is the fresh, healthy quick option you've been waiting for. Salads are HUGE and sandwiches are light and flavorful. Pita bread soft. Fantastic music playing in a modern yet rustic environment (pink floyd, Beatles, michael Jackson) aannd great prices! You pay a little more for fried food or mac n cheese but the rest is no more expensive than any other choice!!! 10/10 will be driving from rochester to come here OFTEN. That's how good it is.

The carrot company is a great modern and healthy option for dinner. They have great portions with large sizes and you definitely get what you pay for! The people that work here are phenomenal, the owner is a gem and very personable. They have a unique twist on salads and broth bowls that allow you to have a customizable experience. All the food tastes fresh, crisp and healthy. The atmosphere inside is positive and clean.
Create your own small salad with unlimited toppings for only $2 more is amazing. The small size is enough for 2 meals! If you go before 5pm you get 2 punches on your rewards card towards a free salad! Salad greens and all toppings are always fresh. Wide variety of dressings all very good.

Could be personal preference, but I felt like the steak sandwich I got could have come off a shelf at Wegmans. If I had to go again I would stick to the salad bowls since the kitchen menu seemed pretty unimaginative.
I wish I could say the staff was at least welcoming and energetic but I can't.

A fun little place for a casual bite. Neat menu items that rotate frequently (the carrot dogs are really good), and a friendly staff. Might be busy and a little slow during lunch or after work rush, but worth the wait. The non-standard fountain drink options are refreshing, and the cookies are great.

Came here last Thursday around 3:30 pm. I was excited to try the Carrot Company for a long time so decided to stop by with my mom. I ordered for both my mom and I, since she stepped away for a moment. While ordering I asked about the carrot dogs, if you could get just one instead of 2- which I was told no. That was completely fine so I ordered that, a side of sweet potato hash for my mom and I to share, and the vegetarian pita for my mom. Partial of the order came out, I didn't think of it right away- thought they would be bringing the rest. Nope, never brought the carrot dogs. I realized that I wasn't charged for it either, so there must have been some misunderstanding. I waited, and waited, and waited, for someone to come out of the kitchen (there were at least 3 employees in the kitchen) so I could order the carrot dogs. Nope, our whole time there after ordering no one came out of the kitchen (which was at least 25 minutes).
Great place. Hot soup on a cold night!! Get the soup and you get to put lots of different options in it. Very filling and extremely tasty. The place has the feel that they just opened but its well put together and thought out. Just be patient since the layout and flow is a little different then a typical fast casual. Once you've been once you'll get how it all works. Highly recommend.
Quick, super-friendly and helpful service! They had so many options, which were explained to me and I was walked through the broth/salad bowl line with a smile and patience. My broth bowl was a great size for lunch, lots of filling veggie options like edamame and garbanzo beans, and the bowl was filled to the brim. Chicken broth was very flavorful. Will definitely be back to try some other offerings on the menu!
The carrot dogs were very good, so was the ketchup. love the new foods they have everyday great place to enjoy an amazing meal.
Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Had the special of the day Cuban and it was quite delicious. No pic I ate it too fast! Will definitely be going back.

Although it's tucked away in Cobblestone Court, and completely unassuming, the food here is phenomenal. I got a 1/4 chicken with sweet potato hash, and a side salad; and my wife went with the falafel pita. SO GOOD.
Very reasonably priced too, $5-10 per person! Friendly staff, bright decor, and quick service.

Very happy to have this place in town. I love the menu and had a hard time deciding what to get. I chose the 1/4 Chicken rotisserie plate with kale salad, sweet potato hash and a side of bbq sauce. For approximately $6.50 plus tax it s the perfect amount of food for a nice quick lunch. Service staff was friendly and my food came out prompt. Food is very good and satisfying. The only constructive feedback I can give is that they may have too many toppings to choose from, but I have a hard time making decisions. Everyone that was dining with them on this particular day seemed super happy and the other food I noticed looked on point as well. I can t wait to return to try their house made pitas, pork buns, broth bowls and fries. A great little fast casual. Keep it up!

Clearly everyone working is new... That would be fine but the food looks nothing like the website. When I ask - can I have the salad from the website and they say of course! But you get to the chicken at the salad bar and it literally dust.... Not pieces of rottisserie chicken... Very dissapointing. Homemade salad dressings are mostly oil not very healthy
Was impressed was looking for a quick healthy meal and happened to come across this place it is right across from eastview mall and is reasonably priced I got the beef on a wreck with there hand cut fries it was a lot of food for price good amount of beef on sandwich and nice bun. I am looking forward to trying their roasted chicken and there seasonal sides.
The broth bowls are worth it. Haven't tried the rotisserie chicken, not sure if I'm going back to try it though. Kids meals are ridiculous. Paid $7 for a small plate of boxed mac and cheese pfffft what a joke.
A little on the expensive side, but you get the quality of food that you pay for. Delicious!

The food was delicious, but we had never been there and it was confusing. They didn't tell us after we ordered from the counter that we were supposed to them give our receipt/order at another counter for it to be made. It is VERY clean in there, to the point that I thought they had just opened. They've been open for about 2 years.
