It is a beautiful complex, a somewhat uncharming location next to the highway in Schiedam. But you don't notice it inside. Plenty of choice in types of saunas, fun infusions and enough space on swimwear day.
The only (huge) flaw was lunch: we booked a buffet lunch for 17 euros. We were only able to go to 13.45, when there was no table for four people available, the price turned out to be excluding drinks and the choice is very limited. Think soft croquettes and lukewarm burnt satay. Unfortunately. Personnel
will probably do his best, but it did not go smoothly. The a la carte restaurant looked fine, so wrong choice to go for the lunch buffet.

Here they can sometimes improve on the total customer experience, they have certainly not understood this. Customer is not king here. The resort is dated, I thought it was rather an expensive swimming pool paradise and that is how you are treated. I will unfortunately not be back.

Sometimes you have to wait a long time for a drink in the restaurant. Many sauna rooms are furnished without creation. Scrap everywhere. Atmosphere is pleasant.

Sauna facilities just fine. However:
- food and drinks very expensive: 3.20 for a bottle of cola, 5.25 for a glass of orange juice, 16.95 for a buffet lunch with a moderate choice. Also had to buy FOUR euros for a bottle of WATER!
- only a few infusions are free, for the rest you can pay 2.95 per person per infusion. I find it a tedious way of generating income, for me the fun goes off ...

I went on Saturday 9th of February. It was crowded and not very clean. Pools, saunas and showers were full of people. Thus, it was not really possible to relax. They should not allow too many people at the same time.

Beautiful complex, well maintained. Very nice and quiet evening.

There was 1 sauna closed but this is not bad at all because there are still about 20.
Heated outdoor swimming pool could be bigger.
The outdoor jacuzzis could also be bigger, especially for the number of visitors who were there.
And let them work constantly, not each in turn.
We booked 2 massage sets of 25min which were very good!

What should have been a nice day of relaxation, has become a day in a restaurant with a carafe of wine and something to eat. Good wine and the food was also delicious .. But what an incredibly small Thermen this is. Have been counted in 2 saunas. Nor is it clear.

Bubble bath was over full, everyone just kept sitting in it. Sorry but don't sit in the hot tub with 20 other people. Which have been in it for ages. Bah!!

Toilets also dirty, folks, so you don't leave your toilet at home either

Normally I always go to Elysium and I just go there in the future.

No, I am certainly not pleased with this Thermen Holiday

I thought it was just a bit too small. But the saunas are certainly versatile.

Spend a day in this sauna through an action (entrance with buffet lunch). Everything was clean and there was also regular cleaning in the meantime. The lunch buffet was OK. However, I found the drinks ridiculously expensive. For a (small) bottle of 7UP paying more than 3, I find it really outrageous. A reason for me not to go here again.

Service was good but the restaurant staff were crying. There was a lot of staff at work (but work) but the guests had to wait quite a long time. On average 20 minutes before an order is completed and I mean a drink. A gentleman next to me has been waiting half an hour for an order to be taken. When the umpteenth lady walked by without hearing him he walked to the bar to make his order. After that he has been waiting for his drink for at least 15 minutes. While there were at least 6 employees funny with each other were very unfortunate. Because it is a nice location.

Very un-customer friendly. They do not know service!

Large, but not too large and modern, beautiful sauna. It is too slippery around the pool, and you really have to be careful not to slip on your flip flops. Plenty of pool views from all sides, pool lit with many bright lights (swimming "in the spotlights"). You have to love this (...) Relatively many elderly present (with walker ?! ;-) Furthermore, just a great experience.

Many saunas. Various infusions. Big garden. Atmosphere in central indoor hall slightly uncomfortable.

It is a pity that the water pressure of the showers has been below levels for weeks.

Nice modern sauna, unfortunately often just a little too crowded. Very friendly staff and surprisingly quiet despite the location next to the highway.

Have been at thermen holiday for a long time always been quite satisfied.
Unfortunately, they do not mind more and more swimwear days, but then a completely different audience comes to the sauna. Last time in September and what struck me and many others was that the outdoor pools felt significantly colder not the temperature you could enjoy. Reported to reception but they had not heard of it before strange ?? Know that there are more customers who have complained ... who have been on other days so I'm not going to expire anymore ... probably energy savings will be made

Lots of saunas .. clean .. can relax well. The atmosphere is a bit less. The restaurant is also a bit less. It was better a few years ago.

Relax here. Many types of saunas and super pourings. We also liked the lunch buffet. Today for the first time here and it certainly will not have been the last time. The battery is fully charged again.

Looks nice. Friendly staff. Clean neat facilities. Worth repeating.

It was terribly cold ... You can't even take a nice shower. The bath was cold ..
Changing rooms too small you can not hang your stuff anywhere. It was really disappointing. We could not even enjoy the hot tub or herb temple because people were unable to get out of it.

If you have vouchers, you can still pay 17.95 booking costs. And they can also screw up the croquette sandwich. A flat, thick breaded dirty smurie. Jakkes. The food has never been spectacular. But they even know how to ruin a croquette sandwich.

Nice wellness center, relaxed in the right way, with a good restaurant.

Saunas are fine, neat and clean. However, cramped changing rooms, transition between day and evening guests, it is just as busy.

We are less satisfied with the catering industry, which gets 1 star. It took at least ten minutes before we were noticed. Was three quarters of an hour before closing and they were only busy cleaning up. Service did not know the seasonal special, the house wine was unknown what that was, did not tell that there were beyond the menu to get even more dishes. Finally ordered, this food came very quickly. Soup, however, was cold, and we were not the only ones. Main course salad came to think of freezer room, in and in cold. Then we waited a long time before we could order coffee. And in the meantime the candles were already taken off the table. You do not feel so welcome. Was half an hour before closing time.

Minimum age 18 years. Ridiculous new rule that we were only told on arrival and thus forced to drip with our daughter. In other saunas, it is often the case that 16-year-olds must always be accompanied by an adult; fine rule, after all, the vast majority of young people are daughters (and sons) who come with a parent. I think it is age discrimination and absurd.

Nice sauna complex in the middle of the bustle of the Randstad, but you do not notice anything. Currently renovating a lot, but that does not bother you. I miss a nice outdoor pool.

What a rest! A wonderful place to recover. Clean, uncluttered and all saunas are silence saunas. In the showers free scrub salt and all kinds of different shower foams. Had a very good massage.

The most terrible eksperience i ever had ,the prices were to high.Me and my wife decided to go there a month ago and they said to us we offer all this services and when we went there it was all fake,they take our money and they were so rude in talking ,i definetely i am not gonna go never again back there.

Only the catering staff should be more customer-friendly. As a customer, you have to wait too long before someone takes your order. There are also staff with a grumpy face who clearly show that they do not want to help us as a customer.

For a budget sauna a great place with good facilities. Summers in the garden some noise from the adjacent highway

What an absurdly bad service !!! It is not possible to speak to an employee by telephone after going through the selection menu 6 times, you are only referred to a contact form on the website. You call because you have a direct question to me, which you do not do via a contact form !! So don't worry, we'll go somewhere else !!!

Visited on a weekday with a friendly welcome. Dressing rooms are fairly spacious with easy lockers. Complex has been expanded with many different facilities. Saunas come in all shapes and sizes and temperatures. A relatively popular sauna, so a bit busier than other saunas, but certainly not too busy during the week.

Today I went to Thermen for the first time.
And last.
To begin with, we had to wait a long time upon entering. 2 counters open, at least 12 people waiting for us.
We indicated to be for the first time, were given a locker key, without explanation where the dressing room was located.
The dressing room was very warm and very busy.
This also applies to the Thermen itself. Far too many people, so that there was hardly any space in most baths and saunas.
After more than 2 hours we left again and we had to wait a long time before we could pay.
It is good that we checked our receipt, because here too much was calculated for the consumptions used. The employee in the restaurant had indicated to adjust this on the invoice, but had therefore forgotten.
Next time we will go to another location anyway ... we have very good experiences with that.

Another evening here. Just relax with my hubby. Great and tasty. In the meantime enjoy the catering.

Credit where credit is due .... June 4th had a wonderful wellness day in Thermen Holiday. For the first time since the takeover. Compliments to the organization! What changes for the better you have introduced. Super! Can't judge the buffet lunch. Keep it up and convince with quality.

Very busy. Card not interesting and very pricey! And above all: a very annoying experience with rude masseurs! So we will definitely not come back here !!

Because I had collected for the Kidney Foundation, I received a voucher for a free visit to a sauna of your choice. Last week my voucher was redeemed at Thermen Holiday in Schiedam. How surprising my surprise is that I had to pay 8.25 euros in reservation costs! Free is free, right? Or am I wrong?

I enjoyed today in this sauna. The saunas were warm and the pools nice and warm and or cold. I do think that the interior really needs updating. Much overdue maintenance. A cave sauna without a cave. And in the herbal bath, the chlorine smell of the pool dominated more than the oils. Food and drink nothing to fault and very friendly staff!

So: Good sauna with more potential!

In the afternoon it gets really busy in my opinion. Operation was also not entirely good.

The sauna is fine! Occasionally too many guests inside! But mass is cash register The catering I found less successful waited 20 minutes for someone to come and the order also took 15 minutes and was disappointing .Have dinner elsewhere in the evening! Because once it goes wrong it keeps going wrong!

Too busy I think that holiday should sell less coupons for a bargain.
It is better to have a weather-dependent calendar on VakantieVeilingen etc.
Furthermore, the hygiene etc is fine.

It is my rutine to get back to this spa&sauna place in Schiedam, so I am positive towards they offer. Saunas are always well heated. The outside part of spa provides enought space to calm in relaxed atmospher. Free access to scrub and various shower gels is also an advantage, same as parking that is free of charge. In some saunas the wooden banks could be replaced into new one. Some quests don't respect to take shower after sauna and they jump immediately to jakuzzi or swimmingpools, and I know it is not a matter of the place itself, but why these customers disrespect such simple and higienc rule?

Not all saunas are as described on the map, and the herbal bath is also herbless, but otherwise had a good day and it is great that they take into account a gastric bypass by saving what is left for you, so that you can still eat it later . I have never had that service before and I loved it!

Too bad the service has become so bad.
Wrong information is provided on the website, I receive a quote, fine, everything is fine.
Afterwards we are at the checkout and we have to pay more than 30 more because an error has been made on the website.
I point the desk clerk at my quotation and she said "yes but yes, printing and typing errors with reservation"
There was absolutely no question of a compensation o.i.d.
We asked what would have happened if we had paid online, the desk clerk said that we would still have had to pay the difference at the desk.
Why is the customer not informed by telephone or by e-mail?

We have to wait a long time for the drink, have to ask for it and then 2 employees have to scan the wristband again before we get our bottles of water.

Rooms not hygienic, outdated, in some places leaky places, on the toilet very dusty.

Good thermal complex with enough facilities. Because it is spacious, it doesn't feel crowded even on a busy day!

Saunas abound and suitable for all people.

Despite several negative reactions on the internet about this sauna, we still went because we had two coupons: in short, we will experience it. Restaurant is cozy, staff friendly and smooth with the service. Food is tasty but at the price like several saunas nowadays! This may be done. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools and the hot tubs could be a little warmer. Wide range of saunas with infusions all day long in 1 of the saunas. Highway does run through the backyard, but you will probably only suffer from that in the summer when you are in the garden. Dinner taken and held as a buffet in an outbuilding. Food is good, unfortunately no lifecooking and the room temperature may also be slightly higher here. In short: a day in the sauna in this place is certainly worth repeating.

Bongo bon received and could not book through the website! Called and they simply say that they no longer accept bongo vouchers! While the voucher is valid for more than half a year and is stated in the booklet !!! Very unfriendly helped .....! Never never that I am going to book a sauna here !!

Nice and small but on horrible days shockingly busy ...

Delicious enjoyed a wide variety of saunas and other facilities. Everything is clean and exudes relaxation. The only downside is the service in the restaurant. You are not really seen.

In itself a great sauna, but at the entrance we had to wait a long time with a long line outside to finally come in.

When we wanted to order a meal in the evening, the waiter asked: May I already offer you some bread for the meal. When we paid later, we saw that they charged an additional 6.95 euros for this.

This really felt like deception, it was really brought in such a way that it was from the house .....

Even when we were sitting outside on the terrace in a quiet place without people around us, I was asked to sit in the smoking room with my electric cigarette.
This is really nonsense, because electric smoking is not harmful and has nothing to do with real smoking. I stopped smoking because I no longer want to sit among the smokers and no longer want to be bothered by it. As an electric smoker (which is 1000x less harmful compared to real smoking and certainly not for people around me), it is absurd to sit between the smokers. This is just pure stupidity and ignorance.

The long queues and the feeling of being misled and the absurd policy regarding electric smoking, we have decided never to go here again.

Had a wonderful relaxing day yesterday.
On long queue arrival, employees remained patient and correct. Once inside, no disturbance from the crowds.
Good atmosphere, wide choice in different saunas and baths, beautiful landscaped garden. I attended 2 pouring sessions of Joop, it did great.
Eating and drinking nothing to fault.
A big plus for me is the smoking policy. Really great.

Delicious Loyly's. They do their best to keep everything clean. There are several saunas both indoors and outdoors. Restaurant is elegantly decorated. Menu is good.
