We are not going any longer. The food was not good, neither was the wine. The loyly was also not nice, not hot, and was brought out laughing. Making fun of other culture.

Always nice to be there. Nice to see that a part has been refurbished, but it is a shame that the pourings are now more sober

In the first respect it seems very small, but it is very clear and well-arranged! Outside also a lot of hot tubs and lots of hot tubs both inside and outside. There was a choice of saunas, not all of them. Nicely decorated too! Come back soon!

Clean, wide choice in various saunas, food and drinks in both healthy and snack areas. Regular nice offers. Also possible in swimwear on certain days. It is a pity that the cinema sauna regularly has a poor quality of sound.

Clean, good saunas and nice relaxing atmosphere. All the employees are very nice and helpfull. The food is OK, but I would like some more healthy and vegatarian options.

Very bad service. My friend and I had a morning entrance ticket where you would get a coffee and a cake. First we had to wait half an hour when we arrived at 10:20, and there were only two people at the counter while there was a row outside in the rain. Then we wanted to get our coffee and cake, but this was not possible because we did not have a bathrobe. So our only option was to rent a bathrobe for 8.5 per person. We had already paid for it online, so we asked if we could get our money back. But no they did not want to give us back or get our cake on napkin outside, but nothing was possible without paying extra. In short: no customer-friendly staff and no service

It is a pity that if you received a voucher code (because I was asked to fill in an extensive survey for Thermen) for a completely free entrance, you will still be charged a 10 euro 'booking fee' (??). Of course makes no sense.

Nice sauna but may guest vest more often address the sauna ritual and the hygiene rules many people who bring slippers into the sauna, do not sit completely on the towel and talk continuously in the saunas so you do not get a feeling of peace. Very nice rest area where you can take a nice nap

Not outstandikg, but okay. Lots of choice, lots of people too. I liked the film sauna. I disliked the catering and the crowd management.

Very unfortunate, been to various wellness centers in the Netherlands, but I will never come here again. I ordered a chicken satay, but it mainly consisted of fat or unhealthy meat. It is still waiting to see if it will bother me. Then my friend ordered a bitter garnish, this one was disappointing because it had become so hard that the inside was mostly dry. For that price that is not what you expect. The beer was tasty! The saunas themselves were very noisy which made relaxation difficult. The baths I found very dirty myself, many pieces of it floated, anything and everything, I understand a bit, but so many flakes are not really clean. The staff is very friendly, there is nothing to complain about and the treatments were well supplemented (I have seen that differently before).

Narrow 5 stars for the loyly restaurant people are friendly but still have a big minus point and that is the food I think it is a pity that you have to add a soup to the only tasty sandwich on the menu while I do not like that soup you can not take the soup but then you still pay 12.95 for the hot chicken sandwich the carpaccio sandwich should be tasty but now eaten twice but it is not tasty with so much pesto think as an old cook that you should know if you are in the kitchen is that pesto is very prevalent so all in all good but the kitchen is allowed to shovel carpaccio sandwich with truffle mayonnaise is enough

Good atmosphere. Clean. Well-arranged, not too big, but enough different saunas. Relaxing ....

Today for the 4th time and I had also read the mostly negative reviews of the past periods .... Can't find me in many things, I had used a groupon action and accidentally made a mistake with the date, have called here if this could be changed and this was no problem .... Friendly help on the phone and the girls behind the counter were again very friendly and helpful .... The service in the restaurant was very friendly and food and drinks were served quickly !! Prices are only quite spicy, especially the drinks then, the food I find very reasonable ... The only downside I really found the crowds .... was really much and way too busy ... .All the baths, saunas and sunbeds were full ... even the large rest area upstairs was really packed .... We really fled at 3.30pm because it just wasn't fun and relaxing anymore .... And here and there some overdue maintenance, pulled me ugly on broken stone s in the indoor pool and the stairs to the top were full of hair and other dirt .... and today a lot of lockers were out of order ... Hopefully this extreme bustle was really something once, because we really want to come here, but want like to enjoy

They have made some improvement, but some things (like the indoor hot tub) are in need of a makeover. Furthermore, excellent facilities.

Today Feb 28 been in your sauna and after 1 sauna round ..... (as pegs in a barrel) it was so busy we went for lunch and went home after lunch because it was so crazy busy ....... really not nice echt not really a way to relax ...... too bad !!

Reasonably improved after the renovation, but still not the most beautiful sauna in the Netherlands

Large selection of saunas. I notice that people in this sauna are very noisy. In the restaurant there is only a nice place around the fireplace. Food very limited, I had the Poke bowl, not recommended. Quality salmon not good and very crazy guacamole, especially not as the photo.

Something has changed at Thermen Holiday Schiedam ... We have been coming here from the beginning with some regularity. The strangest thing is that we had to prepay our sauna visit at check-in to start, it was said, with a clean slate ... ?? That cash, (and very surprised), satisfied. When we got the bill when checking out, it was wrong. The costs previously paid were not properly settled. I kept the receipt. We were asked who I paid that morning. "Oh, I thought so," said the desk clerk. You don't make that kind of comment. (Although you can think something like that, but not say it.) We also missed the many always well-filled flower boxes that were scattered here and there. The hanging baskets are very beautiful. Catering is pricey, but good. Other (regular) guests I spoke to also had comments on issues such as maintenance and water temperature of the cold outdoor pool. So IWR, (new owner), take advantage of this response. Then it definitely feels better if you go home after a day of wellness. With good entrepreneurship: to horns and maybe goodbye, but that depends on you. M. Knol-Peeters. Also from Schiedam.

Fantastic Sauna with lots of sauna options. Cozy restaurant with seating by a fireplace. Beautiful garden with various saunas. Large relaxation area with several sun beds, chairs and benches.

Relaxing day. Not too big ... but big enough to spend a day there

Fine sauna with many types of saunas. Also lovely hot tubs and a nice swimming pool. Great restaurant there, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. Outside there are several places with sunbeds. In short: enough for a relaxed day.

got a second ticket for free via spa online. with online booking no possibility of reservation! by telephone inquiring at thermen we could just go to the counter with the voucher. pay with the remark. save the vouchers and send it, then the money will be refunded. after telephone and mail contact thermen not even respond !!

Me and my girlfriend had received a spa gift voucher, which we thought was fun because it is advertised as a spa with different saunas, peace and quiet in the busy city. Once arrived it started badly because we had to buy a lot of styrofoam slippers. Furthermore, everything was also very pricey and the spa quickly bored because of the crowds and then all you can do is spend money on the restaurant or other things. In addition to the rude staff, the differences between the saunas were not noticeable, only the steam cabin and infrared sauna were unique. The wonderful murmur of the highway is also not that quiet and soothing. There is limited space but everything is always full so you are waiting a lot for your turn.

Today went to Holliday thermal baths in Schiedam.
We were really looking forward to a relaxing day.
Because the weather was pretty bad it was very busy inside.
Despite the fact that it should not be, all sun loungers were occupied by bags and towels.
We had discussed a lunch buffet and that was a huge letdown (costs 15.95 pp without drinks)
We had the idea that there were leftovers from a breakfast buffet.
Sandwiches, ham, cheese, cold pieces of omelette, many empty trays, vanilla custard.
There were (clearly already a tydje) some trays with dried chicken nibble, and dark cheese souffles. Also skipped by the amount of flies in those trays.
Addition: we immediately reported the complaint to the reception, which was noted, said the nice employee.

Staff was a bit surly and upon entering about discount bit difficult. Got it. Toilet was not fresh. Sauna is a bit outdated. Hottest sauna ever. Food was quick and delicious.

Large and often busy sauna. Often bookable with a nice discount. The big drawback is the hospitality industry. Very expensive, poor quality (not always cooked) and chaotic service. Once had to wait 2 hours for the main course.

Outdoor hot tubs are way too small. almost never place and otherwise your buttock to buttock. Many saunas so there is always room somewhere.

Massages are fine too.

Nice sauna which tends more to the feeling that you are in a swimming pool than in a wellness. The relaxation room is always full. And I think that is very unfortunate, especially since you are coming for a relaxed day. Furthermore, enough choices in terms of saunas. The infusions are fun and varied. The restaurant is good, but often full and long waiting times.

The saunas remain fine, but the costs are exorbitant. That is not the worst, they are deliberately unclear and try to mislead the customer. Nowhere on the site are the booking fee of 17.95 when redeeming a voucher. This is an increase of more than 400% over the already high costs of the corona crisis. You also only see the costs at the very last step of the redemption. So they know that it is actually scandalous, but try to withhold information on purpose and that is unworthy of a customer.

I understand these are difficult times. If asked, I would also like to make voluntary or non-voluntary contributions. I liked the sauna and would like it to keep going well. The way in which this is now being pushed through through costs is low-key and unclear and should stop as soon as possible. This is only possible by not spending your money here, because that is the only signal that counts for the management.

It is small and busy. Everything was full. The food was okay.

Good corona measures, but worthless that you can only book an arrangement, instead of 17.50 you pay 29.50. Too bad, what now we only go once instead of 2 times a month and so we only eat once in the restaurant, it seems to me that it is well deserved. Also a pity that suddenly the coupon of the postcode lottery is no longer valid.

Nice sauna complex. Immersion not professional Water is thrown on the coals and steam is steamed through the sauna. Result: burnt skin. No nice smell to smell. People always have to be sent back because it is not indicated that a pouring is going on. Most saunas are the stoves built in so that also a lot of heat comes under the benches and these become too hot to be able to stay on your towel. Showers changes the temperature during showering. Hot tubs outside are very small.

I frequent when you visit and am quite satisfied. I only come in swimwear days. I'm always with one question:
Why do you pay more on swimwear days?

First visited 2 years ago, it felt more like a public swimming pool than a wellness complex. My bathrobe and towel were also stolen, something that happened more often, according to other guests we spoke to in the dressing room.

Been again last week, the complex seems to have been renovated here and there and looks better. No complaints about water temperature, all was fine (but perhaps all complaints in other reviews about this come from the winter period?). Showers down by the pool are still a point of attention (was the case last visit): drizzles of water and some showers almost nothing.

The reason for the small number of stars is mainly the visitors: these are not people who come for their rest, but to chat. People talk everywhere, including in the saunas where SILENCE SPACE is written by the door in cow letters. At one point, 4 couples were talking loudly to each other in the steam sauna (closed / round room with dome-shaped roof), this echoes through the room. Leave the sauna and do something else.

Nice sauna but given the behavior of the visitors I don't think I will come back here often.

We have been Thursday, August 8 and have enjoyed, and the pouring at 20.30 by Edwin was super good, all garbage bins were emptied neatly and the saunas were wonderful greetings Marianne and Rien

Extremely busy, unsanitary, and certainly not the relaxation you can expect from a day of wellness, what a crowd !! I found the alternative. Small, hospitable, new, super luxurious and clean. Reset Spa in Naaldwijk.
