Super there, we often like to go there again and again
It really always depends on the day and the time when you go there. On my last visit there was a sign outside. So where did the increased bathing visits stand today? Arrived inside there were almost 50 beds available.
Unfortunately a bit too expensive, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., costs 20 euros, and the day ticket 25 euros.
Beautiful thermal bath. A little bit of lying areas. At least were as good as all the sunbathing areas in the spa and sauna occupied. Otherwise with the wave pool a great fun. The sauna area is great.
We must admit that our Austrian and German friends know about thermal baths, they are often better organized and cleaner than in France ... This one respects this rule ...
The cost of the ticket is a bit high maybe but after all this allows to spend an afternoon
Obviously you should not be afraid to see a buttock from time to time or to show your own (the sauna, very beautiful, is nudist), but anyway they do not interest or move anyone.
The slides are great, from 8 years old, indoor and outdoor pools too ... Children can spend hours there.
The only weak point is the catering which is really very basic however it must be said that we did not come for that, and that will not prevent us from coming back but do not expect great cuisine.
As some of the others have already written here, the water in the relaxation pools is too cold too, which should be 5-10 degrees more ... Not only was it pretty crowded, all 4 pools were in one room, so there were no walls that could somehow insulate it. Here you should have made the relaxation pool separately. And besides, the whole thermal bath was pretty cold. You couldn't lie on the couches at all because you just kept freezing in the room ... We paid 4 hours, but left after 2.5 hours because you just couldn't relax. And kept freezing. The noise level has caused a headache. Good for families with children because of the slides, but unfortunately, from our point of view, a wrong decision.
It is positive that everything looks relatively new and the light show with music at 6 p.m. was also quite nice. I can't say anything about the restaurant.
A great spa with a cool wave pool, a very nice lap pool and overall a very cool ambience, however, it's less of a spa than I call it a fun resort. In addition, there was an extensive selection of slides for the children and adolescents
Dear Therme Amade
We are guests in St, Johann im Pongau. Since the weather was not so nice, we planned 2 boys (10 and 16) a trip to a spa. Many could recommend us the thermal bath in Altenmarkt. We were smart on the internet and saw many slides and many laughing children. So we made our way and drove there by bus. The bus connection was great. The bus stopped right in front of the spa. But before the cash desk the disillusionment! The lady at the cash desk told us that the 10-year-old boy can NOT get into the spa (without accompanying person). The lady pointed out to us that on the internet is that under 12 years only with escort access. The disappointment was written in our faces !! We had to detour back to St. Johann.
At home, we searched for the entry on the website of the spa but we had found it only in a roundabout way.
Dear local children, what do you do when you go to the spa and your parents do not have time ?????
It was amazing. Great finish and relaxing for a day out. Children and adults enjoyed a lot. The slides are great.
As far as a Therme goes, this one is a bit small for the price. I found it more like a good indoor pool type thing. Lots of fun stuff to do for kids. Has a nice view, too.
Beautiful place, equipped, clean, ideal for families, many pools, a beautiful very large outdoor area, indoor and outdoor slides.
Super nice spa. Everything fine. Gladly again. Always ask for a family offer
Several slides, hot pool, great sauna. But very crowded
Medium sized leisure bath with large spa. Cleanliness good. Frequently themed sauna infusions.
A beautiful spa. Just a pity that there are no loungers in the sauna. Not even in the extra Ruhr room.
Okay, but if there's a lot going on, there's definitely one more pool missing
Super thermal bath, great sauna experience, friendly atmosphere, cool sauna master
Thermal bath with basic equipment. Two nice slides.
Real fun for kids and families, especially on rainy days
Great spa with many highlights that are switched on and off at regular intervals, many berths and opportunities to rest
Ideal for families with small children: changing tables, buggies and cots are available, there is even a family rest room - which was however quite cold on the day. Certainly not a cheap affair, but you also get something offered.
We were on a Sunday in the thermal bath, it was quite crowded. Unfortunately, there are too few changing rooms available.
Staff is friendly and motivated. Cleanliness okay.
The spa has many baths and great slides with long waits.
Have not visited something better. Looping slide, funnel slide, diving towers, wave pool, salt (brine) spa and a super sauna. I can recommend it to everybody.
great slides
great swimming pool especially for kids
Don't go here during highseason (dec - march ). Way to small for amount of people. Slides are awesome, but very crowded. Almost no changing rooms. Be prepared to change near other people. There's an option for 2, 4 and unlimited hours. 2 hours is more than enough. Maybe nicer if you're with kids but for 18-35 years not that interesting.
It was very, very busy in winter. It was very nice in summer.
It's okay, but nothing special. Beach chairs are unfortunately too little and too close to each other ...
The name sounds better than the aging bathroom can offer.
Beautiful place with lots of fun for the whole family. You can enjoy salt pools of different temperatures, water slides, swimming pool or artificial waves. Those who do not want to swim and just relax, have a sauna world.
Swimming pool is great, only parking is search. Besides swimming pool parking is not possible, we had the car in the parking lot at the ski lift. From there it was a 10 minute walk.
Nice sauna nice pool just perfect to relax for a day
My favorite thermal baths, super-guided infusions, nice employees and a relaxed atmosphere
Very nice family-friendly thermal bath can only be recommended.
Beautiful thermal bath with wave pool, beautiful outdoor area and great slides. Recommended for families with water rats. Cleanliness 5 *. However, we were lucky enough to be guests on a very empty Thursday, so no waiting times and lots of space.
Quite expensive but excellent facilities. Great water slides & wave machine ok. Outdoor pool perfect to relax in with the snow coming down around you.
The most beautiful family pool we have been to. Definitely worth a visit.
The facility looks a bit old but we still had a lot of fun. The offer is sufficient for a 3 - 4 hour stay and perfect for children.
It is a regional fun bath with good sauna nothing else! If you are looking for a classic spa, you will be disappointed! The equipment is poor, e.g. the showers have the charm of the GDR from 1981, in the Kasterl locker fit at most shoes size 41, inside it stinks at noon to fry fat. Inside comes with the too many beach chairs claustrophobia, and the use of trampoline (idiotishc in a spa!) Makes a sensible swimming impossible.
Great place.
Clean and tidy..3 water slides.
Various outdoor pools (waves) and warmth including a Jacuzzi and sauna.
3 hours of fun with kids
Great thermal bath for families with children. Very good dealings with children. Many different pools. Overall too expensive - especially the restaurant - but entry is bearable with the Salzburg Card.
Overpriced and overflowing, unfortunately disappointing.
Nice pool where we have entertained ourselves with our young children for 3 hours. Restaurant there is extensive. Big downside is the dressing room, there are hardly any changing cubicles, just changing in the hallway, men and women mixed up, amateurish.
The fun water park part is OK, with only 2/3 good water slides. The sauna part on the other hand is awesome! Worth the visit, especially as it closes late.
Everything your heart desires when you visit a thermal bath with two children under 7 years of age.
Very nice place and spacious surroundings
Lot of fun for kids and adults
Can easily spend few hours their
The visit is worthwhile for families with children. There is a wide range of options, such as various slides, a wave pool, sports pool and a diving platform. If you value a varied sauna offer you will get your money's worth for a few hours. The infusions are very well made and entertaining, I just lacked the variety.
There is a star deduction for the sparse, unappealing restaurant area that could really use more flair.
Great, especially for the children. The food is not that great, but I don't think it's that bad, I can eat somewhere else.
My most beloved spa in Austria, not too big, not too small. The outdoor area is very nice and the evening you can spend very comfortable in the spa. The whole sauna offer is really great and the infusions always an experience! If I lived close by, I would go to this spa every week in winter.
Why can't you give 0 stars?
Restaurant a HUGE FREEDOM!
For the cheap 3.80 fries you can expect ketchup (MC DONALDS STANDART)!
I was on a ski course here with my class
I think it was really worth it
I didn't pay attention to the looks and we didn't notice the price, but that was the best experience of the ski course
In the evening there was a laser show that was nice
Very friendly and the sauna infusions are very good, praise the Schusti and his work colleagues
Very nice spa, great after skiing. Clean rooms. In the restaurant friendly service. Very decent selection of food. Relaxing spa.
We visited the thermal baths three times in June with our three year old son. Apart from the price, we cannot report any negative points. The thermal bath was never overcrowded and in very good condition. The water More
For young and old swimming pool with slides and beautiful sauna with fun infusions children allowed in sauna
