Loved the Panto, facilities like the shop need upgrading to reflect the steep in house prices.

Last night I was privileged to see the most amazing show I have ever seen in the theatre. Les miserables was performed by the most talented cast I have seen in years! The production was flawless.

Brilliant. Very accessible for wheelchair users and cushions for little uns to see the stage better

Seats are so uncomfortable it really detracts from the overall experience.

Great place made special by the show 'Bodyguard. Only disappointment was understudy instead of Alexander Burke.
Staff extremely friendly and efficient.

Beautiful theatre which has fantastic shows. Just been to see Peter Pan which was excellent.

Loved the theatre! So grand and amazing. Sat at the very top but I could still get a clear view and sound of what was going on on stage. Of course sitting on the first or second tier would be better, but the price for the third was super affordable for the quality I got. :) watched girl on the train btw. Amazing <3

Great old theatre, staff really helpful and friendly. I saw a story about a Frenchman who was wrongly convicted of a crime and really turned his life around using the power of song. Excellent.

Have just been to see the 39 Steps, with a cast of millions ! Well, a cast of four really ! Brilliant, we laughed from the moment it started until the curtain came down, very very good !

Wow what a night just saw mama Mia open night I was greatttttt!!!!! Everyone up dancing at the end with 3 songs to dance to ....

Awful booking system. Shows online as fully booked, to phone costs 40 per minute, visit the box office and you get booked. Sound quality at beginning of Jersey Boys really poor, but improved. Brilliant show.

Although it has a less varied selection of shows and plays than other theaters around the UK such as Darlington theatre or Sunderland but the outside design is gorgeous

Quite good venue. My family enjoyed quite some performances. You can park at Dean Street Car Park and Subway sandwich ship is nearby.

We saw the Bodyguard starring the amazing Alexandra Burke. Inevitably comparisons will be made with Whitney Houston's portrayal of the role but Alexandra's performance could not be faulted. A great production from start to finish with a brilliant supporting cast. Fully recommend catching the show as it tours around the uk

Saw Les Mis in the upper circle in row c and it was still an amazing view!

Enjoyed the show and the seating arrangement was very good (room to move your legs around) proud to see the theatre looking nice

Historical venue excellent productions famous acts/artists disabled access small bars excellent wine choice can transfer into plastic cups for performances staff very helpful security is there but you wouldnt know..

Absolutely beautiful venue, my favourite theatre in Newcastle. Brilliant range of shows and youth theatre classes are worth every penny. LOVE.

Not allowed to sing along to mamma mia staff very strict and shone torch on visitors who did not comply. More toilets needed as always queues ver expensive bar .

Absolutely brilliant as ever. It's always clean. The staff are always friendly. They're organised and competent in their work. Toilets are clean. Wheelchair accessible. Family friendly.
