Mediocre. A beautiful view of the ravine. Level one is in the lowest part. Waking down looked like a dungeon. No comforter nor blanket cuz of Covid. Paid over $255 for a king sized room with antique carpet, furniture and walls from the 70s.

Westin la paloma is simply the best resort/ spa in the Tucson area ! The Ritz Carlton is great, BUT, la paloma is beyond great; this Westin owned/managed property has every amenitiy one could ever want, convention status with many ball rooms. Etc.
And all located in Tucson city limits, close to everything the city has to offer, easy ride to airport, yet a very peaceful and serene setting. Simply outstanding !!

2 yrs ago my review was 5 stars.... Very clean. Updated. Very friendly. The bedding is the most comfortable I've experienced. Thankful to find such a good place.
Today I take down a star. It has been just okay. Our room had a smell to it and we had a couple bugs in our room. The pool was so super crowded during the day but really nice. I woke up early enough to have the large pool to myself with a amazing temperature. I can tell they try hard to make our experience great but the smell was a major down point for us. They offered us to switch rooms and almost did except we were so exhausted that we just settled for the weird smell.

From the moment we pulled up they seemed confused and disorganized. The service was slow, service personnel would try to memorize your order, then forget what you wanted. The place is beautiful, the people are pleasant but the service is average at best.

We had a delivery in Tuscan and seen the Westin which we love to stay at in Vegas so we had to try it out. The place is an amazing peaceful getaway. We enjoyed the pools and great service by the staff on hand. Leaving valuables in the safe provided, peace was definitely achieved while having fun. Our burger and fingers were great along with the constant delivery of drinks we will definitely be back and highly recommend if your in the area.

Great pool area. We are platinum Marriott Bonviy members and were upgraded to a suite. The suite was okay. It was on the bottom level and very noisy people above. Moths and bugs in the room. Wasn't happy about the room. Pool area made up for it.

The service and staff at the resort were WONDERFUL! Our room wasn't quite ready on time, but the staff took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable and happy. Davis was especially awesome. I was so pleased with our stay... We can't wait to go back!!

Grounds are lovely and spacious. I am a non smoker and people could smoke in the aisles. I hated it. I had to hold my breath as I walked by. Also, we order some room service. I kid you not food came after 2 hours and we had to call them multiple times to make sure the food was still coming. The menu was so incredible limited for a fancy resort... the options were granola with yogurt sort of thing and we managed to order a Turkey wrap and a egg croissant. They were cold and 2 hours late. They offered to comp it and they did... besides those 2 things it was a lively place and the catering for the business meeting we were there for was very hands on at all times...

Very clean, spacious rooms, beautiful landscape, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds, and when we went toward the end of May the weather was beautiful as well. The price for rooms are surprisingly affordable, had a great time at this resort!

What an amazing location. It was my first time visiting Tucson and it was truly impressive. The views were great. The rooms were spotless and the beds were super soft. I truly felt as if I was living in the Hollywood hills.

Gorgeous surroundings, excellent customer service. The Westin La Paloma is an impressive property nestled in the foothills. Beautifully landscaped, and so easy on the eyes. Excellent amenities, from the spa to restaurants and the pool area. Definitely a must stay!

Was checked in by Blake who did a fantastic job of making me feel welcome. The grounds are beautiful. Loved the pools and the slide. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Will definitely stay here next time I come to Tuscon.

Great resort. Has everything you need. Pool, Golf, Tennis & Fitness. Perfect for adults or families. Only flaw we had was the dinner on site was a little bland. Good base but needed more seasoning and flavor. Enjoyed the resort and would go back again!

Excellent place to stay. This is one of Tucson s best kept secret. We needed a place to stay the night and we re not really looking for anything particular and stumbled across this resort on Groupon. What a find! We re actually making plans now to vacation here someday. it was really an amazing place.

Took my wife here for mothers day. Went here with my mother years ago and now take my wife. The Brunch on mothersday is incredible. If you are staying at the resort don't miss the racquetball court. Use is free but you have to pay if you need to rent equipment. Has a adult only pool and adult spa that are both free to access if your staying there. Great place in a great setting.

I was just there for a conference. I didn't stay in the hotel. The conference accommodations were perfect. Although the hallways near our conference were noisy, as soon as you closed the doors it was fine. The grounds and interior were well kept and nice. The bathrooms were well maintained, in spite of heavy traffic. The food was 4.5 stars so pretty good. The service was 5 stars. I would stay here as a guest.

I stayed at Westin La Paloma for a work conference. Overall, it was an okay experience but what I didn't enjoy was the dirty hallways where my room was. Guests would order room service and then put their dishes outside their room... the dishes wouldn't be picked up for more than a day. The hallways are outside and it looked like they're never cleaned. One guest had something like panda express trash and the noodles spilled out. The container was picked up but the noodles stayed there for my whole stay. My room was near the back of the resort so it felt like they didn't care about it as much. The room was fine, I did see a small blood stain on my pillow (under the pillow case). In all fairness, I did complain once about dishes left outside my door (not mine) and they picked them up quickly. The customer service was good but it was disappointing I had to even ask it be cleaned up. I also didn't complain about the pillow though I'm sure they would've sent a new one. The room overall was clean, no complaints there.

Also, I recommend requesting a golf cart escort you to your room when you check in. They offered and I declined thinking I would be fine walking. My room was quite far from the parking lot and in the Tucson heat, it felt like a hike just to bring all my stuff up to my room.

The pools were nice, not too crowded and I got a cabana for shade. The pool bar closes at 5 pm so if you want food or drinks at the pool, hopefully you won't have day plans.

As far as hotels go, it was a fine overall experience but as much as this hotel costs with the resort fee as an addition, I didn't think it was worth it. At the end of my stay, I had a slight issue with how I was billed. The woman who helped me was very nice and promised to send my receipt by email that day. It's more than 24 hours later and I still haven't received it.

Friendly customer service. Clean. The valet helped direct us to our room. We had the option to park the car ourselves. Lots of eateries on the resort. Great workout amenities. They have free workout classes on site every morning.

Excellent service! Bell men will drive you around if you need it. I wish I thought to have them get me from my car. Love the swimming pool. So beautiful! Great water. The food is excellent. The rooms are lovely.

Great place for a staycation! Precautions were taken although a little lax at the pool. Only downside was our room would not get cooler than 72 degrees which made it hard to get a good night's sleep! Outstanding dinner at Contigo Latin Kitchen!

From the greeting at the door to the pool side service, every staff member warmly greets you with a smile and a genuine hello. This resort has everything you need for both business and pleasure. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, well furnished and provide a splendid view of the picturesque mountains. I had the distinct pleasure of dining at Azul and Contigo. Each member of wait staff served you as though no one else was around despite the grand size of our party (nearly 25 guests). Every meal was a work of art to the eyes and tastebuds. Every evening at six thirty the bartenders serve a drink of the day for free. Each bartender has memorized their wide menu and continues to shine with service. This is a ten star hotel!

I've stayed here a handful of times in the last year. The most recent was terrible. Broken glass on the floor, cut my sons foot. Dogs howling all night and all morning in the room next to us. Staff didn't want to help. Also, the staff got lazy and didn't bother to put fitted sheets on the beds. Other than that, great pool, fun waterside, and easy checkin. I'm rating it at 3 stars because my other trips here were wonderful except for my first trip when they double charged me for the room then made me wait 2 weeks for a refund.

Seemed rather nice visited to inspect for a room block, rooms were clean, resort is beautiful somewhat standard for a resort in the area with general southwest flare. Rooms have beautiful views.

Not sure what all the hype is about....

Not sure what all the hype is about....

For a resort it sure felt like a cheap motel at times...

The food was not as good as I was expecting it to be, the room quality was lacking, I've stayed in better rooms at Fairfield Inn's. The room looked worn as did the knocker on the front door which was broken. A 27" CRT TV awaits you in your room from 1998. A Mini bar also awaits you in your room, with nothing in it except 2 bottles of water. The smell of mold immediately hits you upon entering the room...

The Pool area was nice as well as the hot tub. To get to your room you have to walk outside for an extended distance.

It was not what I was expecting...
