Like many Westin hotels. This one is very nice and clean. The food selection for breakfast is great but it's expensive which is typical for all hotels of this class. The bar upstairs has nice views and the one in the lobby has a great selection of whiskey. The gym is adequate but a little small. My only gripe is that they charged for a executive room despite being in a standard room since when I booked there were no standard rooms available. Seems a bit odd. But apart from that it was a nice stay. It is quite far from the train station.
I will go on a moving sidewalk from Ebisu Station
There is distance when we walk.
The Westin Hotel in Ebisu. I have visited several times at restaurants and afternoon tea, but this is my first time to stay. I thought it was vacant due to the influence of corona, and it was filled up. A gorgeous tree is displayed at the entrance during Christmas time. This time it was a flower. The room is quaint and tasteful. It has a more solid and calm atmosphere than the modern one. Chic and mature. The bed is firm, but it is comfortable to sleep in. Carpet rooms are more likely to develop dust allergies, but this time they do not. I think that every corner is cleaned to prevent corona. I stayed for 2 nights and asked for room service on both days, but I was politely asked for a phone call that it would be a little late. It was easy to dry, so when you asked for water, it was very helpful to prepare additional water.
The customer service was good, and when you call the concierge, it will tell you before saying "XXX". I am more than happy to call you a room number. Rooms are clean and odorless.
The breakfast is very delicious! Boiled eggs are also boiled over time, and omelets, handfuls, and noodles take care of individual tastes. Beginning in the morning, the breakfast will be a wonderful start.
We enjoyed our stay here! Service was what you'd expect at a Westin (top notch), and accommodations were nice.
Location is excellent: in true Asian fashion, there is a covered walkway all the way to the nearest train station. It's only a couple of stops away from Shinjuku, and if you have a JR pass you can ride for free. There is also a commercial center across the street with lots of shopping and dining (quick or fine, whichever you want).
Recommendation: get the breakfast included with your room. The buffet is pretty nice and it's great to just be able to walk downstairs before hitting the craziness of Tokyo!
I like Westin so I will stay again.
However, probably because I was eating various things, I wasn't impressed with the breakfast I had last night, so I thought I didn't have to go next.
This place will be always my luxury, hide out hotel, good atmosphere, peacefull, and great staff at the front desk, my god, i love you guys , hopefully will come back again and again,
There is no photo at the buffet but cappuccino was delicious
A nice and quiet hotel near Ebisu station linked via underpass walk way.
I like dessert buffet first here. I can not get a reservation easily. And like Moana Surfrider in Hawaii, the scent of white tea makes me feel happy and luxurious. This scented thing is sold at the shop in the hotel. However, because the value is still high, I try to find the smell and taste the Westin feeling.
Heavenly bed, a short walk to the Yamaote line Ebisu Station, english speaking staff. Great hotel and location
Love the place , great customer service. Breakfast in the morning are awesome. Great food .
It is far from the station but I can feel the style.
Good location, quiet neighborhood and nearby train station. A bit old yet well maintained hotel.
Like here, the room is beautiful, clean. And feel safe Can take a tour bus from the accommodation and continue to the airport. Convenient, easy to travel.
Five-star hotel in a good area Classical decoration High level service Next time you will come again
It takes 10 to 15 minutes on foot from Ebisu Station, but the smiles of the employees are wonderful.
This hotel is famous for its sweets buffet, which is difficult to make reservations for. You can buy cakes at The Westin Deli, but reservations are required for popular cream puffs. Even after a while, the crispy choux pastry is packed with rich custard cream and is delicious. I'm sorry that I can't go to buy immediately because I live in another prefecture.
Stable quality.
Very cozy hotel.
Probably the pioneer of the hotel that offered this large room and texture in the city center.
In that sense, it must have been a long time since it opened, but it's wonderful that there are no scenes that make you feel old or dirty in a bad way from the lobby to the details of the guest rooms!
It's proof that you're using something good, not what it looks like, and that you're doing good maintenance.
By the way, the cream puffs from this pastry boutique are very delicious, but they sell out quickly, so it is recommended that you reserve them in advance.
Victor's Champagne Marche offers great value for money!
Occasionally used in business negotiations. It's cozy.
Christmas decorations are very pretty. Hotel has a vintage apparel to it.
I stayed once when I was an employee of a Marriott group hotel. This is a perfect hotel. Correspondence of check-in is quick and polite. I went to stay in summer, so I was sweaty when I entered the hotel, but the associate looked at me and handed me a towel that I had frozen immediately without saying anything.
The general manager is an acquaintance, so I spoke while I was having breakfast the next morning.
The hotel was really nice and we enjoyed our stay while we were there. The reason I am giving 2 stars though is because when we left we discovered they charged us for laundry that we never asked them to do nor knew they even did our laundry! The charges amounted to about $150 USD so we're pretty frustrated. They refused to remove it because they had "proof" that they did our laundry.... no proof we ever asked for it (which we didn't).
Rooms E clean and services are nice but it is way too far from train station.
I also like the classical decor, but I like relaxing in the lounge on the first floor.
Had really good stay. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and very nice staff. Extremely pleasant!
I used it at the start of eating, but there were too few restrooms with beds for changing diapers, so I had to stand up to the restrooms, and I felt very inconvenient. In addition, I thought that there was no bed for changing diapers in the men's bathroom and I was disappointed. It was too disappointing that there were too many plans for events for children.
The interior is European classic style and settles down with the scent of Westin tea white
One of the best hotels in Tokyo! The property & the service is very good and what's more amazing is that there is a station just 2 minutes from the hotel. I've come for a long stay of 2 weeks and considering that, the hotel even offered extra services.
It is a hotel that is truly high quality!
I have no choice for myself ...
The rooms with Tokyo Tower view offer a wonderful view of Tokyo.
Great hotel, great rooms, amazingly nice staff. Only gripe is the queens for breakfast and small gym, other than that stellar
Very friendly staff. The hotel has a definite feel of erluropean opulence.
This was what I expected for this hotel. Amazing staff, amazing location, and proximity to Ebisu station and tons of food near by. I was there for 2 weeks.
Very swanky hotel in all the public areas. The rooms aren't quite up to the lavish levels of the lobby but still very pleasant. I loved the yukata left in the drawers.
A great location and very walkable to many places in the nearby business and cafe districts.
Well up to the Westin standard. But not cheap!
A Christmas tree and a model train are running during the Christmas season and it is very traditional
Cozy, Heavenly beds are really comfortable. Private check-in and check-out are available, and it is spacious and convenient to use the Executive Lounge. Though it is the neighborhood, I accidentally stay.
I also like to spend tea time in the Executive Lounge.
Breakfast on the terrace is often used for walks when not staying. You can get healthy and well-balanced because it is well-balanced Japanese and Western.
I used it often, but because I forgot something I was on hold for over 10 minutes and had to wait for a long time, and I didn't get back information! I will not use it again! The world's lowest hotel
Follow the passage directly connected to Ebisu Station and arrive at Ebisu Garden Place in about 10 minutes.
We stayed overnight and had breakfast on the terrace and had a buffet.
At that time, there were a lot of Westerners at the Rugby World Cup, so
It was very lively and the food was delicious.
Very well connected... room size is pretty big .. very comfortable stay
Attend a reception. Customer service level too low! All past 3 times
I think it's good to use, but I would never want to use it in formal places or seats with people who have good products.
I think so regardless of how many visits, it is not a coincidence but a hotel of that level.
Even if you spill wine, you won't notice it, even if it splashes, and of course not apologize.
Basically, when serving, the dishes silently move near the face.
An on parade of acts that you will never do in a top-class hotel.
What is 5 stars.
A plate with a large amount of chocolate rolling was silently put on the side of the face, so I asked, "How should I do this?" Is it a part-time student? Honorifics were also awful.
By the way, I saw chocolate [I touched it with my bare hands] that I was about to fall and fall on the plate. I absolutely do not want to eat such chocolate.
Please don't hold a plate above your head. Don't serve and stretch your arms out of weird places.
There is no problem with the restaurant inside the hotel, but it is disappointing that people in the hotel have dropped the rank.
Interior of the hotel is very Versailles, maybe a bit too francophile even for the French(?), but staff are all very helpful and nice. Room is spacious, too.
Services are business hotel class. It was the worst response. I don't use it anymore.
Excellent service. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Facility is state of the art.
Convenient location near Ebisu Garden Place. Old but well maintained
Very good location and has a underground path connecting to the train station.
Bed is really good! I can sleep well.
Location is also great.
We also have a hotel bar.
Without saying!
Rooms are good and service is decent. They have good options for breakfast. However their dinner buffet has very limited options for vegetarians. We visited in the last week of November and they had a dessert buffet. Though pricey at 8580 yen per person, it was delicious and very varied. Highly recommend you sample the dessert buffet
An excellent hotel with easy walkable access to the subway and train system. Beware Of The Smokers if you think you want to have a drink in the bar
I love this hotel. Very old fashioned, on the decoration but also with the perfect behaviour of the staff.
The rooms are very large, well equipped, and super comfortable.
Location is also pretty convenient and the breakfast is super good, even if sometime the staff can be surprisingly inefficient.
Will go back there definitely
It is a very big and gorgeous Christmas tree. The hotel is also recommended in a classic atmosphere!
First class service at a first class property. This Westin epitomizes a luxury hotel.
Located in a great entertaining area- yebisu park next door with many restaurants and things to do.
This is THE BEST Westin I have ever stayed. The standard is much higher than the Westins in the US and other countries. For platinum members, they provide complementary breakfast and you can choose from 3 different restaurants in the hotel - Japanese meal, buffet and top floor dinning. The food is top quality and attention to detail. Even the club lounge meals are top quality - you can actually consider that as real meals - unlike the club lounge in the US which are mostly jokes and depressing. The staff members are also nice, they treat you with full respect. The location is also good. Some other reviewers complained about the price - I think the opposite, it worth every cent. This is THE BEST Westin!!
Great location, but that's it. Staff not very attentive. Restaurants always difficult to get a seat. Waiting time for breakfast to be served over 30 minutes. Despite the upgrade I paid, there is no benefit to it.
Will definitely not come back when in Tokyo.
There is no barbell in the gym area, but there are machines, dumbbells, running machines, balance balls, tubes and so on. The water server is a type that you drink in a paper cup, so it would be easier to drink if you bring a plastic bottle, etc.
Everything you would expect of a Westin and a lot more. The location in Ebisu is perfect, a little out of the bustle but in a very nice and upcoming neighbourhood. Museums, stores and restaurants are close by and the subway a 10 minute enjoyable walk away. Service is top-notch. Spring for the executive level, as it will not only give you access to the executive lounge, but also to the other hotel restaurants for breakfast. Gym is nicely equipped and spacious. A nice 5K running course mapped out starting from the hotel.
Great ambience for a afternoon tea by the lobby lounge. Overlooking the Westin Garden and high ceiling.
Nice rather sizable room near shopping and restaurants. Pleasant staff.
Breakfast buffet is corona specification. Salads and fruits are packed in small servings, and hot dishes are asked by the shop staff to bring them. I know I can't help it, but the fun of the buffet is halved. 4000 yen suddenly feels high.
I think that it is good near the station.
Customer service is also very good.
We stayed for my friend's wedding. I don't know if I'm a Lifetime Mlatina member, but this is the first time in two years. Shibusawa-sama and hospitality were grabbed for their heartwarming welcome and visited for the first time in two years
THE WESTIN HOTEL TOKYO is a gorgeous and tastefully designed lobby and chic and calm design rooms. How many hotels in the world can relax like this? The Westin Hotel is the climax of a relaxing hotel! Meet at the valet service and turn down to sleep. Great service, great care, great smiles, the best of the staff. All of them are healed. Deserves the hotel's masterpiece. It is a hotel that you want to stay at least once in your life. Please try it.
Advertising can not use the app in large large large large large large large large large large large large large large large large large large annoying!
I walk a bit from the station, but I can go wet without rain. The service of the employees is always in good condition and can be introduced safely to anyone.
I can't use mirroring and I can't watch contract broadcasts. It may be natural. The hotel was very happy!
Staff is fluent in English, rooms are full-size, excellent whisk(e)y selection at The Bar.
The decoration during the Christmas season is so cute!
I like Takeshiba, which was recently made, and Marriott in Kamiyacho, but I also like the heavy construction and atmosphere of this one that was built during the bubble era.
This time, I was able to go home immediately after staying, and I got down to 1F at 6:30 just after the start to get breakfast early, but it was about 10 minutes later when the procession was made and the guidance started did. It was not a big delay, but I was anxious to rush you.
Updating from recent April 2019 visit. 1st review was November 2018. Charles Jack the GM is a genius as far as I am concerned and his lovely right hand Ai Watanabe was incredibly warm and helpful. Here is new full review:
We have stayed at this wonderful Westin many times, as a family and as a couple. So the love of the location, breakfast and hotel itself goes without saying. This past trip was a 16th birthday celebration with my son - a mommy-son trip, hubby was left home. I was sporting a cane from a recent broken bone so having the helpful magnificent STAFF made the stay so much easier! Such a wonderful welcome from Lit Yee Shin. VERY helpful, kind, warm help we consistently got from Ai Watanabe. A lovely Aussie helped me with the bags and he is always great and helpful but I don't know his name. Before we even arrived the concierge team in advance and during the stay was top notch: Nami, Jun Kamimura, Daiki Takahashi. Mai Doyachi in rooms was very helpful making sure that we got the right room (two beds) Akemi ITO also very nice. Jim Woodrow and Rifcy Muhammad seem to act as hosts/customer relations. Rifcy on my last trip and on this trip in November was incredibly helpful especially this time because of my injury. Also helpful was some solo mommy 'down time' at the Compass Rose. The place feels like 'family' to me after all of our trips there: Mr. Taishi Miyazato and Mr.Takumi Kobari and Rina Kawaida are great. Mr. Miyazato and Mr. Kobari ALWAYS go out of their way to make the guests feel welcome and happy. The cocktails they create are works of art. Wish I drank more than just scotch on the rocks. ;) Mr. Miyazato and Mr. Kobari truly are highlights for me. Not only on this trip but in past trips with my husband who also loves them. Our room was fabulous with a view of Mt. Fuji. We can't wait to return...perhaps another November trip, this time with the whole family. BIG kudos to the General Manager! The Westin is a 'destination' for our family. Thank you for making it so.
NOVEMBER 2018 Just back from ANOTHER amazing stay at this Westin. Great location, superior service, nice rooms. Love the breakfast. This is one of our fave hotels in Tokyo. Excellent management from Mr. Charles Jack. Jun Shujita in reservations is continually fantastic. Last time we had a fab view of Fuji-San from our room. The Compass Rose Bar has great views and is well managed by Mr. Taishi Miyazato and we love the bartender Takumi Kobari. The Ebisu station is nearby making it easy to get to/from. Yebisu Gardens are right there with a department store (with food court/groceries in basement) so that is convenient. There is also a Starbucks if you need a familiar coffee fix but I prefer the Tokyo 'Excelsior' ...coffee is great. There is a post office in the nearby building which is IMPORTANT because that is where ATMS in Tokyo are.
The service and staff at the Westin are top notch. Rooms are older, elegant style
