This place is a reliable market for good food and organic eats. Grocers are always helpful and now there is a hot bar at this location as well. It's open late, making it very convenient for a late night snack run.

Uptown fresh organic and healthy groceries. I have to admit I don't live near the Wedge there are certain products that I like. I get natural soap, fresh meats including good seafood and cookies. They have a great bakery. One of the few places around with a huge salad bar that is billed by the pound. I also get my Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil here for my keto diet. Bring money because it's not cheap. But, the quality produce hard to find health foods are worth it.

A good selection of food & other products with average costs & friendly service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a great place to shop. The atmosphere is very appealing, very clean and organized in an orderly manner.

Excellent grocery store for local produce and specialty products. Great bulk sections, hot food, & butcher counters. The staff are friendly and the store is well kept. I visit regularly but I still find myself at big box retailers for certain staples.

Had everything we were looking for available. Masks required, but aren't forbidding reusable bags. Excellent selection of produce, other items. Bulk food available--they are providing plastic gloves to use the scoops. Social distancing not as clear as at Seward Co-op.

They have an amazing variety of organic and natural products. There is a huge following by the hipster community. That's no fault of wedge, but it makes me not want to go there a little bit. Great location unless you live in the south suburbs. Parking is atrocious though, not that there isn't enough, in that there is a super busy road that you have to try to pull onto.(lyndale and Franklin)

We think the Wedge is the best cooperative in the Twin Cities. Their emphasis on local products really sets them apart. You can get dairy, eggs, meats, and (some) produce from local farms. It's a great place, just the right size, with friendly staff who are genuinely helpful. We've never felt any sort of condescension. (And the gluten-free bakery items are excellent!)

Great co-op! The food is delicious, the coffee is fantastic, the staff is mostly pretty darn friendly! It is pricey, esp of your not a member, but it can totally be worth it for the quality! The prepared food from their deli is wonderful!
Tip for drivers: try to approach from the (east? Headed toward downtown, the wedge wil be on your right then) side of the street the co-op is on. Turning left into the lot is a pain to the drivers on both sides of Lyndale! Thank you!

A nice little co-op grocery store with most of what I need. The produce is always nice and fresh, they have a hot bar for lunch, and house-made salads, wraps, etc. The bulk section isn't as great as some of the other co-ops, but it's not bad. There's a place along the windows to sit down and eat lunch, although it's pretty small. I always stop by when I have a craving for pickled herring (you either love it or you hate it!), as they package their own.

The wedge has changed a lot through the years. It's updated it looks very nice but the selections or the amount of selections rather are pretty much the same. the customer service and buffet were mediocre and a bit dry.

I love this place. I only shop for local and organic.I have been all over the USA and this is by far my favorite store when I am in Minneapolis. Love the breads, local produce, juice bar and coffee.

Looking at all the 5-star ratings for the Wedge, I know I'll be in the minority. I think the Wedge is a good co-op. Certainly they have a great selection (I really like their bulk nut butters.) But the environment can make for a less than pleasant experience.

The Wedge has just about everything you would want from a co-op. That said, aisles are tight and if you have to drive, the parking situation is pretty bad. It's usually crowded. When I want a better co-op experience, and it's on the way, I prefer stopping by The Seward.

The Wedge is in my neighborhood and I am a member.

Amazing, local products and produce! Knowledgeable staff and there's always something new. Only reason for 4 stars is parking, as it's quite difficult, but dealing with it is so worth it!

One of the best co-ops in Minneapolis. The recent remodel offers an eating area and espresso/juice bar. Fresh baked goods, amazing bulk section and tons of grab and go lunch/dinner options.

I love the Wedge! They sell real, wholesome, quality food. Their produce is spectacular. Prices aren't as low as bargain healthfood stores, but the quality the variety of options are far greater.

You DON'T need a membership to shop there!

Co-ops have been a necessity in our lives for many years now. The Wedge is one of the best. It is the first co-op we became members of. Always a great selection of fresh organic fruits and vegetables. Always a large selection of fresh organic grains, seeds, nuts, flours, sugars, spices, herbs, coffee and the list goes on. Parking can be hard at busy times. When construction is happening in the area just plan your approach to the store accordingly. You can bring your own bags to cut down on environmental issues. The people in the cheese area are super helpful. Always a sale going on some brand of organic chocolate candy bars. Always monthly sales on a variety of items. If you want to eat better, try shopping at the Wedge.

Too many conventional products.. the new layout is too busy and less comfortable of a flow.. membership benefits have been cut.. the only thing that keeps me coming back here, rather than only shopping at Good Earth in St.Cloud, is that "some" fresh produce is better maintained.. some products have great prices which stack with case orders.. and it's a convenient location

I've shopped at the Wedge for over 10 years. Their recent remodel has made me fall in love with the Wedge all over again. Although I recently moved out of the area and do my regular shopping at another co-op now, I like to make a trip into Minneapolis to visit the Wedge every once in a while. They have the freshest organic produce in the Twin Cities, awesome coffee and juice bar, awesome deli sandwiches, awesome people and employees, and awesome vibe. Places like this are what make Minnesota special, especially in cold winter months.

We are members so we love going here. The staff are great, they always have what we are looking for and their deli case is very yummy! A tad bit expensive but member discounts and knowing you are buying quality products make it all worth it!

The Wedge has friendly staff, the local and organic produce I'm looking for, and I love the small grocery atmosphere. It has everything I need and isn't overwhelming like large box grocery stores. I also like seeing the diversity of people who shop there from hippies with dreads to health conscious moms to Somalis shopping locally to millennials, professionals, retirees and everyone in between.

Old time member of this coop. Very good selection of lots of health food. They abide by 7 coop principles. Produce, mostly organic, always fresh and tastefully laid out. Downside: prices are quite high. Quality is good though, and they're great about taking most things back if not satisfied. They have needs based program. That translates 10% of on any purchase, every single shopping trip. Membership is much cheaper for needs based. It's honor system, you don't have to prove to anybody you are entitled to it, just quick paperwork and you have completed the process. The managers are great, and the staff very knowledeable. Also, member only specials always going on; for example, just about every week there are member only discounts.

It's a bit more expensive, but the meat and produce are great. Their deli is pretty excellent, too. It's a co-op, so as long as you account for all that entails it is pretty top notch.
