The Vineyard Hotel & Spa Review

Use the spa for a treatment delivered by Nicki who was lovely and put me completely at ease. Would recommend and will visit again.

A lovely location with great staff providing excellent service. The choice of wines was excellent and their cheese selection varied. I attended a wedding and it was clear that they had bent over backwards to accommodate the bride and groom's requests. Highly recommended!

My friends and I had a full afternoon tea, and a great time! The service was very attentive without being annoying, and the food was delicious :)

For such a nice hotel I was a bit surprised at the quality of the food served in the afternoon tea. It all tasted as if it had been made several days earlier and kept in the fridge.

Beautiful hotel made even better by attentive and caring staff. I was lucky enough to be here for 24 hours as part of a work strategy day. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble... when I asked for a banana instead of cake during the afternoon break, I was brought a fruit platter, at no extra cost. My room was a suite, a first for me, with a wonderfully deep bath, complimentary choccy goodies and a minibar that was out of bounds! Dinner was delicious but I would avoid the beetroot custard, the cheese board is highly recommended however! I just had cereal for breakfast but colleagues who indulged in the cooked breakfast were singing it's praises. Highly recommended.

A very smart hotel! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine and shown to our suite. The bar is very atmospheric and we really enjoyed the live pianist.

My family totally enjoyed the afternoon tea, wines and family suite. High recommend the afternoon tea it was fabulous in particular the scones. Wine selection was vast and sommelier selected a perfect Syrah for us.

Had the most fantastic experience here for a family birthday a few weeks ago. The most incredible service, food and wine. Would definitely visit again.

Visited for afternoon tea. Impeccable service, great selection of food and teas. Rather cramped however, both in terms of the bar area and the table we sat at which was far too small to accommodate teapots, plates etc. Not bad but not the best setting for afternoon tea, especially given the price charged.

Afternoon tea: a traditional selection of sandwiches, scones and mini deserts. well presented but nothing very special. A choice of teas. Chairs not the most comfortable and put guests some distance apart around a very low table. A pleasant afternoon.

I was a guest at a wedding reception and while I didn't stay at the hotel I found the facilities and grounds to be very nice.

I celebrated my nomination this evening in this fine place. I am glad to say that we had a incredible evening and the place was clearly one of the reasons for the outstanding gathering. The team collaborated in a splendid manner, the cooking was yummy and my buddies were extremely cheerful. We shall surely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

We went there for afternoon tea and it was amazing. The sandwiches, scones and home made cakes were delicious. They also had a large selection of teas and coffees. The atmosphere was relaxing and we spent many hours, chatting, having fun and enjoying to food. Would definitely recommend.

Attended a winery dinner and stayed overnight. The food, wine, and service is impeccable. Spent the next day at the spa, which was really relaxing.

Beautiful setting, nice food, portions could be larger but that's just my preference. You can pick from a whole dictionary of wines to accompany the food though!

What a fabulous dining experience we had, hard to fault anything in any way, delicious food, very attentive welcoming staff and a most impressive dining pavilion which far exceeded my expectations.
If you can only dine in style once this year make The Vineyard your destination, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic service.. went in large family group for afternoon tea on weekend shortly before Christmas. Outstanding tea and extra special effort was made for the children. Brilliant.

High end food and wine in a comfortable environment. The food was excellent but there were some last minute changes to the accompaniments for the main course which no one informed me of until it arrived.

Wish they would spend the same amount of money on the golf course as they do at the hotel!

The setting, layout, ambience and decoration here are fantastic. The staff are really nice, and very attentive. The food is excellent, and the extensive wine list is impressive. The basic set lunch and some house wine is good even, but you could eat a la carte and drink vintage wines, which do make it expensive. But we keep going back!

If you like wine and good good, you must go there. They will pair wines to your food by the glass and not with the most expensive, but always the best fitting, often times surprising choice. Food is really good though don't expect huge quantities. It is the quality that counts and you get that on spades. You won't be left hungry though. It also has a hotel and spa, which are a very nice treat for a romantic yet gastronomic getaway

They advertised "sumptuous" unfortunately I did not know the real meaning of the word. Hence, small portions of not especially wonderful or inspired food. Dreadful canned classical music all the time everywhere drives you mad. Did not respond to my complaint so it seems no real 5 star service. Oh well...

We love it, from the first moment to the last the service is outstanding and doing their best to change your stay into real experience, interior is OK nothing special but the wine, idea of the vineyard and spa is brilliant highly recommended! Thank you for your service.

Lucky enough to be upgraded whilst staying overnight in this delightful hotel. Small but very nice spa area (towels water papers provided) very relaxing and our room superb. Lots of paintings and naf amazing wines too

Beautiful area with a lovely entrance lobby, present staff. The place is easy to get to and the carpark is a good size.

We had drinks there. The atmosphere was lovely and the drinks were good. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow. We had to ask several times for the bill and they kept forgetting us.

Amazing place - height of luxury and customer service is impeccable! Huge range of facilities and the spa onsite is so convenient - make sure you book for the restaurant in the evening as it gets busy very fast, especially with such delicious food and drink :)

If you want to go out for a really special evening then I highly recommend the vineyard. The food was top quality, the choice of wine was immense and the staff were the best I have met in a long time. We'll definitely be going back.

Top class hotel built around a first class restaurant. The wine list is extensive! Pricey but worth it for that special occasion.

Excellent stay for my husbands birthday. Greeted nicely, shown to our room, beautiful spa. The best hot stone massage ever, great dining experience. Literally one of the best hotels I've been to would recommend to anyone

Even in these troubled times and with hygiene and sanitizing at the forefront, the Vineyard still maintains it's high standard of ambiance plus wonderful food and drink.

Had a massage in the spa fantastic.... Costly but hey if you are not on a budget go for it...
