Always a great experience every time I go. Tons of craft beer selections. There are options for those who don't like beer, like mixed drinks and cocktails.

Zuppardi's Pizza is phenomenal there and I would highly recommend bringing all of your friends there to celebrate the weekend or someone's birthday. Whatever the occasion is, you can't go wrong.

The only advice I would give is parking- try to park in the back parking lot because the front parking lot is set up in a way where it doesn't easily accommodate a lot of cars on a busy night.

We go here often the selection of beer is always changing and is awesome. The fact you can have a pint and relax with friends around the fire or play darts is awesome there is no pressure and its just a fun environment.

Great atmosphere, good beer, amazing bar food and desserts.

Plenty of constantly changing options gives everyone something to enjoy. Obviously, they have beers, but also wines, mixed drinks, and some non alcoholic beverages for the non-drinkers. Like the kids, or whatever. The main feature here is the options.

Great selection of beers. Fun atmosphere. Very trendy. Excellent remodeling. Food is only ok. Service is not great. You cannot taste a beer here, you must order a full flight to taste. Very pricey for food and drinks. No table service. Giant games to play. Great social atmosphere. Beer, wine, and liquor on tap!

Good beer, the snacks we're also very good. There was a cover but it covered first drinks. Service was friendly and knowledge

Honestly, I am very unsatisifed. Please get your act together with your reserved spaces. You kicked us out of the area because it was reserved for "6pm". It was obviously reserved for 7pm. The employees started working on the area at 6:50pm. The only place available for us to go was outside. If you are going to force people outside, please get more heaters. It was absolutely freezing outside and your "reserved" space was empty for an hour. Not to mention, after moving outside, the employees came to grab a table and decided to take the one that we were using. Felt very targeted and very uncomfortable - even more uncomfortable when I was told that I could "use the benches though". Absolutely no reason to tell me that. I was absolutely fine with moving if I had to, but you could have taken the table next to us. For a Saturday, that was the worst experience I have ever had with this place.

Great beer selection. Over 25 different beers on tap, plus some great food! They even have a smores pizza for desert! Amazing food and drink for the price, great place to go on a Friday or Saturday night. They never run out of seating room.

$15 cover per person during lunchtime with basically chasing down the staff. Why am i paying a cover for getting my own drinks and limited menu. No thanks

Great place to relax with friends either inside or out. Long community tables and a couple fireplaces make things cozy while still delivering the bier garten vibe. Good beer selection, good cocktail selection, both on tap, with really impressive food menu as well. And can't forget the games - foosball, darts, and cornhole are all there for you.

Very large selection! Also, multiple food options that are all equally good bar foods. There is plenty of space so you don't feel cramped even on a busy day

After careful consideration, I must cast my vote in favor of THC as the best beer bar in CT. Not only is the selection broad (quantity) it is also deep (styles, countries). In a state where IPAs are often the only option, THC offers a full palate for beer lovers. Excellent service and quality food venders add to the experience. Kids are welcome until 8 pm, with plenty of games available. The lovely patio is also a huge plus. A must for anyone in the area.

Good selection of CT beers. Great place for a party. Have been there in the afternoon hours multiple times and they re cool w/ small kids, which is awesome!

Imagine a bar type atmosphere where you talk and mingle with friends and complete strangers. Now throw some good food in the mix and you have THC! When you first walk inside you think your in an old castle setting or something. The you walk outside and they have a bunch of different seating areas depending what you want. There is a beautiful waterfall area that has a covered clear roof with high and low tables. Then there is the fire pit area that is very inviting on those cold nights, you feel like your in a back yard. Then there is the upper outdoor area where picnic tables and barn are setup. Did I also mention the corn hole tournaments!!!!!! Fantastic place for the young/old/families, etc. You won t be disappointed. This is a pretty busy place and they have 2 parking areas (front & upper that is up the side street).

Waterfalls and gardens. Games and lots of food. Had wings and perogies. Both are good.

Spacious with multiple food options on site. Awesome place to have some beers outside. 2 complaints: the menus alternate too rapidly on the TVs and a left turn out of the parking lot doesn't have stellar visibility

The best place to go on a nice day. The happy hour is great. The food selection is getting better (although it is already satisfying). Most importantly their staff knows a ton about the beers they have.

Cool place. They need a second bar. Weekends are very busy there. The pizza is amazing.

Open and airy space with community style tables. Board games that can be used (with drivers license collateral) and extensive bar selection. Their pizza, wings and large pub-style pretzels are delicious. It s a busy place (parking was challenging, even at 4:30pm) so plan ahead for larger groups or parties.

Could have more of a beer selection for a place called the Hops Co. And they charged a cover to get in when they opened in the afternoon. Kind of strange but it included your 1st round. Staff was cool

Great beer hall. Open area, long open tables, and a bunch of beers. Pizza and other food on location. They keep expanding too which is nice. Outdoor and indoor areas.

Only reason it's not 5 stars is because they don't have applesauce for their pierogis.

Disappointed is the simple answer. Went to a wedding reception there. 6 different beers offered. None I'd want to taste again. Food was catered. Not sure by whom as it had little flavor and was only luke warm at best. Waite staffe was ineffective. More water would have been nice as the air was humid. No interest in going back. Once was kore than enogh.

Very good beer selection. Bartenders are helpful in selecting beers. Music was a bit loud for conversation, but the atmosphere was quite cozy and pleasant.

Amazing place to hang out! Best collection of beers! Live ! Good crowd. They have trivia night every Wednesday night! They have good pizzas. I literally love this place still giving 4 stars only because of food! Pizza place is good but I didn t like the other place s food which sells nachos and stuff. Definitely recommend this place. Just drink and eat ! Have fun.

This place is just a place to have some average bar food outside, outside sitting is nice, nice scenery, I personally came here for the pizza, two simple, small, average pizza s were 30$. drinks have to be ordered in the bar, separate from the food. I much rather have ate inside at rose land pizza down the street, larger better quality pizza for a cheaper price.

I removed a star because they do not allow patrons to sample beers -- at all. Not a sip, not a drop, not a chance. I agree with a previous reviewer that this is highly unusual, especially for a place that serves GOOD BEER. People who love and appreciate beer often want to try one before buying a full pint, or a "flight." This policy has to go -- when it does: back to six stars!

The building and grounds are beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly in the beer selection is rotating and generally very good! If you don't like crowds avoid Friday and Saturday nights, especially during the summer, but Wednesday night for trivia night is great. Shout out to Matt!

Cool spot with games and a great food and drink selection.

Great atmosphere for groups. Very family friendly, there are board games, plenty of seating and areas to hang out. We happened to be there during their Halloween costume contest and it was great seeing the place decorated for the occasion. The food options were decent, mostly pizza and typical bar food, nachos, wings, and something I didn't expect to see were perogies. The only thing we didn't realize is food is ordered and paid for separately from drinks. The drinks, no matter if you're not getting alcohol, has to be purchased separately at the bar. Other than that, a good hangout place.

My 1st visit here and it was just awesome. Large venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of beers on tap. Amazing pizza, salads, nachos, etc. And TVs to watch your fave sporting events. Parking was a bit challenging but overall I'd go back here again.

Great beer selection with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Loved the upgrades they made outside with the fireside seating, the gazebo and waterfall. The pizza sold here is also very tasty.
