Living on post has the benefits of not having to worry about trying to find housing when you are moving. However, depending on when you move here, the wait time to get a house can be a bit extreme. We were lucky that we had a house available as soon as we got here, but they could've been a bit nicer about it. I know we came during the peak of PCS season, but the person showing the house was not having a great day prior to meeting up with us.

The maintenance guys are great, however, trying to get an order done takes forever. The app also isnt very efficient since I still have to call in an order to get it done rather than filling out the order form through the app and it somehow "gets lost in the system".

Timely in their work orders and service requests. When our AC was acting up during the summer it was never a long wait before the tech would come. The housing in general could use updates, but the business side is efficient.

Pools not opened nor cleaned all summer in the midst of GA heat and kids on summer break, yards only been trimmed once the grass was almost knee high..wished they'd reliably provide the amenities you pay for or at least adjust the rent accordingly!
Way to go to serve the ones who serve and make a military base look respectable!Sad..

I've been here for 4yrs and 5 months now and have not had any problems with the quarters nor staff. The Ladies at Davis Hill/Bouton Heights Leasing Office are top notch. They make sure to follow up on issues and concerns with you. They are so polite, and professional with what they do. I couldn't have chosen a better place to live. KUDOS to the staff for always going above and beyond to ensure my safety and comfort in my quarters. Thank you for all you do.

Personally we had an easy and painless experience with the Villages of Benning. They were super friendly and were very good about answering our questions via email! Definitely one of the easier on post housing offices to deal with in my experience.

The staff has been friendly throughout the entire process. Prior to the PCS, I had many questions. They answered all and were professional. Once we got to Benning. We were shown the home and then signed the lease. Seamless process.

We've lived at VOB for almost two years now. The process to wait for a house was different than others but we were offered a home very quickly during high PCS season. We enjoy our home and especially like the two car garage. Biggest area for improvement is regarding the room above the garage getting really hot in the summer or really cold during the winter. Overall, we're very happy with our home.

This is our first time living on base and the Villages of Benning have been great! They are very helpful and timely in their responses. We did have one problem with a work order, but once we explained that no one had been out to fix our problem, maintenance was here within an hour. Overall, no complaints and I love the community activities that they put on and give details on!

When we first moved to Columbus we lived in a little apartment off post and I hated it. It was tiny and our family was growing. I was scared to be going out just me and a baby (I have anxiety issues ) so I became a home body. We finally decided to move on post and got a home in Patton. I love it! The home is beautiful and we have so much space for everyone. My favorite part is that we live next to a park! Everyone is so friendly and I can leave my home and go for walks and I feel a bit safer to be honest.

I was here for Infantry Officer Course (I-BOLC). I lived in Norton Villages. I paid $1000 flat for rent and utilities for a 2.5 bedroom, 1.5 bath for which I was happy. The responsiveness of the maintenance crews were always in a timely manner; normally within 1 or 2 business days. The housing staff were always professional and very polite. Especially the lady who worked the front desk (will not say her name).

I also enjoyed that I lived within walking distance of the gym, library, theater, running trails, fast food stores, and my job location. Station here as a soldier in training, I could not ask for a more ideal location.

If i have any complaints, one would be that the A/C did not work well upstairs where the bedrooms are. I bought a mobile A/C unit to keep my room cool. Secondly, I disliked havjng 1 full bath, but my roommates and I made it work. Sharing 1 restroom while in training less than ideal. Third, I hate all of the grass weeds that grow in front of my apartment around my A/C condenser. The vines grow from the ground to the roof. This was the one work order I repeatedly asked about getting complete. I understood it was the landscaping crew and not the maintenance team which possibly caused the delay. Still, the front of my house looked like Jurassic Park. It was pretty horrible. No one else house on the block had the same issue. Lastly, did not like the mold in the restroom. I bleached it as much as I could, but it is time for a complete renovation. Mold spreads so you will have to get rid of all the infected parts.

Overall. I was pretty satisfied with my stay. I was here for training, not for 5 star luxury living.
