The only thing softer than the bed or the water was the towels. This place is quaint cozy and very comfortable. The adjacent restaurant is exceptional! I only have possibly two recommendations. One upgrade the shower heads and two for coffee use 18% creamer instead of 10% creamer
We were there for a memorial service and the room was set up nice. Quaint little inn, looked well kept and staff was friendly and nice. There were no issues with staff allowing us to set up a space in the small lobby for family pictures either. Would love to come back sometime and stay a night or two!
Always buy a spa package for our mom here. She loves getting a massage and pedicure at this location.

Nice enough place. Our run we spacious and clean. The first night was quiet, but the second was very noisy, with the sound traveling from the upstairs room very easily. We were celebrating my parents 50th anniversary, so had rented out the banquet room. Staff were helpful and we had what we needed.
Great little Village. The atmosphere is so refreshing and welcoming. The staff are friendly. Great view from my room. Will definitely come back. Used the conference room (Aspin) and it was great for or corporate meeting (projector screen already there). Great food as well.
Our family stayed at the Inn and we had a very bad experience. They needed to do some repairs but also when we stayed there they did not honour the treatments at the spa, I will never stay there again and I would never refer anyone to stay there. Bad for the business. Its too bad, as I have given their name and phone number to a lot of friends, and all is gone now. I did give them a chance to correct it but after talking to them many times they did not care.
We booked the Girls Slumber Party which includes a pizza and movie as well as spa treatments. This is truly a hidden gem and wonderful getaway. We'll be back for another girls trip and we'll come again to bring our husbands
The facilities are nice, and a short distance to the lake. Very quiet in the winter.

I loved my room!! The bed was like crawling into a cloud. And the sheets were so soft and comfy. I would pay top dollar for the pillows too. LOL. I would love to just pack up that bed and all and take it home with me. A little piece of heaven. Housekeeping was quick and pleasant. I will be back.

We were greeted by very friendly staff. The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was close to everything...great restaurants, shopping, and a spa where we got massages and pedicures. Great little get away from the hustle and bustle of Calgary.

A great place to spend a weekend. Many groups hold conferences there. Just across the road from the Black Bull Golf course. A couple of good restaurants a few minutes away.
Our family loves staying here whenever we want to get away from the busy city! Very clean, comfortable and accommodating - the staff are super warm and friendly. They are conveniently located right in the village, next to a ravine with beautiful walking trails right outside your door.

There are many lakes nearby, the adjoining restaurant also serves good food.

I've been here twice for girls getaway weekends and both times were awesome. The staff are all super kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and the kitchenette ones really have everything you need to be able to eat in for a weekend.
My visits to Village Creek Country Inn are always tied to scrapbook retreats, so naturally I am already glad to be there! The rooms are clean, the setting is lovely, and the staff are so accommodating and helpful. I love the shops in the village and that they are only steps away! The price is affordable and the spa next door is great. I will continue to organize retreats here as long as people will come! And they all seem to enjoy it as much as I do.
Friendly staff, clean, quiet, reasonable price, great location.
My only complaints: #1 - the pillows were so massive I had a hard time sleeping on them (with four pillows on a bed, having one normal sized one would've been appreciated). #2 - very cheap, non absorbent towels.
If those two items were changed it would be 5 stars for me.

Came here for work retreat, beds are cozy comfortable, slept great! The area is very calming, the locals are nice, found 2 great coffee places nearby. They just need to upgrade their towels to the luxury kind.
Nice place for a quiet day or two without having to drive far out of town.
We just stayed at the Village Creek Country Inn, and had an amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely. Comfy bed, and clean rooms. The Inn even had a selection of movies you can watch in your room, and our toddler thought that was pretty cool.
The view from our room of the foot bridge and walking trail was really gorgeous. We did a quick walk on the trails, which was really enjoyable. Easy for beginner hikers or just to get some fresh air.
We stayed in February and I cannot wait to go back in the summer! 10/10 would recommend.

This is a wonderful getaway spot. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean containing all that one might need, and the location is very pretty surrounded by trees and a quaint little village.
We are in an suite disconnected to the main building and because of that and with the fact that it snowed last night, no one has cleaned the snow from in front of our door. But besides that everything has been great.

We stayed at this very adorable country style Inn Aug 3 rd 2019 . It is situated on/near Pigeon lake and there are cute little shops in a well maintained mini town as I call it right on the property. The beds were very comfortable, the water super soft , the staff very friendly and accommodating. There were no mosquitoes in the area as we attended an outdoor concert in a near by RV park which was awesome! The drive out from Calgary on the back roads was beautiful. We didn t have time to check out the beaches on the lake or the other amenities but we will go again and stay here again.

I love this place! Check in was absolutely fantastic! Room is super cozy and bed is really comfy! Wifi service is great! Hot tub was really nice! Check in lady was a bomb shell!
Disappointed. Blew the breaker in the room, everything was hooked to and extension cord.
Myself and 2 women came here to celebrate our friend's 30th birthday, for a total of 4 of us. The massages were wonderful. The staff were patient even though we were running late. The room had garbage on the ground and a used towel was left in the bathroom but the beds were very clean. This place is more of a staycation destination than a place to celebrate a birthday. There were kids running around and screaming late into the night and early in the morning which was very irritating. Overall a nice little spot to relax while being disconnected from your devices.
Nice. All the appliances were plugged into a weird extension cord the blew the breaker. The coffee supplied did not make a full pot. Nice otherwise though.
We have stayed here a few times. Price is fair and we are never disappointed. It is a nice break from our hectic lives in Edmonton.
My hubby brought me here for my bday... it's so cute. Everything you need in one area. The best part they take pets and we had a beautiful room... 101 with a back door. Would definitely recommend this...can't wait to come back for a girls weekend. Pre book your spa.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I wasn't expecting much from a small village hotel, this place was a lot nicer than expected, plenty of places to eat, shop etc within a couple hundred feet of the hotel. Our room was modern, had satellite TV and great wifi coverage.
Reasonably priced. Cozy. Pet friendly. A lovely little hidden gem perfect for a weekend getaway, that isn't too far from Edmonton. We've stayed numerous times and will continue to return.
Wow. If you want a great night's sleep you need to sleep here. The beds are sooooo comfortable! Quiet inn, very clean with a perfect location close to ships and restaurants. Highly recommend.
