Fantastic bar staff, great selection of beer, and plenty of cider and bottled liquor. Appetizer was generous with complex taste, surrounding entrees looked great as well. Busy and popular but not a crush or scene.

elaborate lost of draft beer selections. Prices are high, but in sync with the location. Portion sizes were small. We enjoyed the cocktails and the baked brie appetizer. Vegetable lasagna was okay, don't order the tofu tips and a green for the turkey burger. Fries accompanied with the burger were great.

This is one of my favorite places in Boston. I usually eat there at least once a week. The food is great as is the service. I had the Ribeye ,& Egg sandwich for brunch on this visit

I almost always get the baked brie, which I attached to this post.

American restaurant, usual large portions, and fairly expensive for what you get. My 24 year old son was interogated before entering the restaurant with me as to his age, ID checked then told not to drink alcohol and not to sit at the bar!

Had reserved table for 3 guests the night of NKOTB concert (6/29/19). We were a little late but the hostess was EXTREMELY accommodating and friendly! Every staff member went above and beyond to take care of us. I spilled on my shirt and before I could even ask, a server (that was not ours) brought a napkin with soda water. Our server was wonderful! She was on the spot with drinks, clearing plates, and so friendly! HIGHLY recommend this spot!

Brunch Review:

Brunch Review:

Beacon Hill doesn't have the best restaurant offerings but if you are in need of a good meal in the neighborhood, look no further than The Tip Tap Room.

Setting/ambiance: I came on a Saturday for brunch around noon in the winter and it wasn't too busy (which surprised me because of how good it was). It's unassuming from the outside but a really cool set-up on the inside with high top tables and a great bar with the extensive beer list and specials (when we went, it was an Ostrich Omelet, which was intriguing) written in chalk behind it.

Food: The brunch menu is small compared to other places which I actually appreciated. No choice overload. When I get brunch, I usually like to get my own "savory" and then a "sweet" to share with the table so I get a taste of something sweet but then I'm not guilty about it being my entire meal. One thing to note is that there is only 1 sweet thing on the brunch menu (which we of course ordered) but if you are looking for a variety of pancakes or french toast, The Tip Tap Room is not for you.

French Toast Donut Holes: WOW! These were delicious and came on top of homemade whipped cream (which I usually don't like) and caramel. The look and taste beautiful. See the attached picture for visual evidence. Would 100% recommend getting 1 (or 3) of these for the table.

Steak Burger: I had been craving a burger and this one hit the spot! It had a combination of an a1 aioli and tip tap dressing (which they described as ketchup with onions in it) with really good fries. The attached picture doesn't do it justice for how juicy it was. Would 100% get this again as well.

Value: also important to add, things are not too expensive here so you can spend under $25 for brunch easily which is tough to do in Boston.

I came to the Tip Tap Room expecting a good meal on a Saturday and got a great meal! This will definitely be one of my brunch staples and I want to come back and try it it for dinner.

Very nice place for drinks & hanging out. They have an amazing list of draft beer & very nice staff. I had bad experiences with the food but looks like others love it, so I'm not gonna talk about it. It might have been bad days for the chef!

Walked here on the suggestion of the concierge at our hotel. Glad we did! There was a bit of a wait but the hostess took my phone number and texted me when our table was ready (about 30 minutes on memorial day evening.)

The bar and restaurant were full so it was a little noisy but not enough to dampen our conversation.

They have an extensive beer menu so it took us a bit to get through that but everyone settled on something delicious. I ordered the mai tai which was very good. Another person ordered the farm drink (sorry can't remember the exact name) but that was fantastic! If I could drink 2 drinks I would have gotten that.

We ordered the baked brie and duck drummettes (?) both very good. I could have used a little more notice in the brie and the duck was spicy but still delicious.

Our table had the poached pear salad, yummy, yummy! The steak Burger and both said it was very good and the antelope Burger, also very good with a delicate, not gamey, taste.

After dinner we got the blackberry bread pudding which was also very good alone with decaf coffee which was an excellent cup of coffee.

Pricing was what we expected for the location and the delicious food. We walked so I'm not sure about parking.

The staff were very friendly and they kept our meal timed well. They didn't rush us and it was almost like a team effort with water refills, taking dirty dishes and bringing drinks. It worked well and our evening was wonderful.

We were a fun group of 7 and were well catered to.

Staff was courteous and punctual. The food was good and beer collection was great. There is nothing to complain really.

Also, I forgot my headphones the other night there, and I called to check in if they were found. They indeed were there and stored in a nice white envelope for me to pick up a day later.

It shows when you go above and beyond your regular duties. Much appreciated!

Keep doing great fellas!

The Tip Tap Room is one of my favorite places in Beacon Hill. The food is awesome, the bartenders and waiters are uniformly super friendly and helpful, and the owner is really nice person who is very inclusive and welcoming. This is a great place!

Came here with a group of friends and it was a very chill and comfortable experience. We got a booth that had pillows which made it super comfy! The two servers who helped us were very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable on cocktails and food. The mojitos were very refreshing and made well! My friends got the special that day which was three different kinds of red meat, according to them it was delicious the only problem was that the portion was small! Overall the experience here was great and will definitely come back when visiting Boston!

Very nice bistro with a great selection of beer. I arrived on a late flight and only got the bistro after 10pm. The kitchen was still open and serving fantastic meals. The lobster bisque was amazing and I enjoyed being able to sample local beers which were on tap.

Our group had a great time at the Tip Tap Room. The kitchen is cranking out meats of all kinds (lamb, ostrich, bison, etc). The bar is always packed with fine young professionals. I ordered the lamb tips and tried a bite of my friends bison. Amazing! Don't miss the coconut shrimp appetizer either. I'll definitely be coming back to the Tip Tap.

This is probably one of the best places I've dined in. Me and my group had the zucchini, bison, and lamb. Everything was amazing! And the mashed potatoes were to die for. Absolutely recommend this place. Its also open late including the kitchen and the bar.

Nice atmosphere but we had bad service. Our waiter's shift ended halfway through our time there and no one seemed to notice. We waited forever before finally flagging someone else down. After that our service was fine.

Wow, this place was a very pleasant surprise. The food was excellent, the wait staff friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere inside was clean and up beat. The website describes this place as an upscale pub, and I have to agree. Very glad I checked this place out and I look forward to visiting again.

Tip Tap Room is a gem! I wish I had found it sooner, will be back for sure. Great list of beers, many of which I had never had before. Variety of Sours, IPAs, Ciders, Ales, Reds. The beer alone is worth the visit. Awesome menu with unique options including an Antelope burger, and grilled Deer. If you have never had this type of game, it is delicious, the Antelope burger was really good. Reasonably priced for Boston living. Service was great, they also have panel windows that open. Perfect for the summer. Short stroll from TD Garden.

Service was excellent, beer menu terrific with tasters to narrow down your selection. Food was modern chic acceptable, but not top tier, as prices leaned to suggest. Crowded after work, but enjoyable, if loud.

Great beer selection. Food was great. Met here before a game, had a lot of fun with a few friends and coworkers. Will definitely go back when in the area again. Nachos were awesome. Big portion!

Ummm this place is such a wonderful brunch spot. The food is so hipsterly delicious (avocado toast and all), there's a MASSIVE drink menu, and nothing beats a Mayor's Corner. Do yourself a favor and order the French Toast Donuts as an appetizer AND a dessert. You're welcome.
