Great service, fantastic food, and huge beer menu!...

Great service, fantastic food, and huge beer menu! I love everything about this place. Even the security guards a friendly and happy to have a decent conversation :3

Plus, open late, and food runs late, too :D I flew in at night, headed over asap, and was having dinner around 11. Not many places in many cities can give you that kind of service, *and* restaurant style grills.

I ordered swordfish and the truth is that the portion of the fish was very ridiculous (three pieces of 5x3x3 cm) and the sauce and cream that accompanied it was not very good. Maybe it is a good place to eat burgers but I do not recommend this dish.
The service very slow.

Amazing beer selection, with great recommendations by the waitstaff. Very fresh and tasty food. Our server, Victoria, made good suggestions to accommodate some dietary restrictions. Fun atmosphere. Happy to return again when we are back in Boston.

Cheap looking contemporary decor that makes it feel like a chilli's, but it's got a very good draft beer selection, good casual food relative to the area and attracts a great looking crowd. I also like how the bar area opens up to the street in the summer.

So this bar is absolutely fantastic, I'd give it an extra star if I could. The drink selections are awesome, the cocktails are varied, and the food is fantastic, strongly recommend the cheese balls. The prices are also reasonable too, at least for Boston.

Great food and beer list! This is my go to for lunch or a nice dinner if you're around the Gvt Center area. Steak Burger and the Board Meatballs are a must when you visit. A little pricey but worth it

Really great dinner experience. Came here for a small bite and some drinks, really busy but we got a seat right away. The cocktails were excellent and our boar meatballs were fantastic! It's not your average menu, or cocktail list, all very original choices a foodie would love.

Not that it's to be expected, but our server hooked us up with some awesome suggestions on places to go in Boston during our visit. She went above and beyond to make sure we not only had a great time at Tip Tap, but also for the rest of our vacation. We'd definitely come back!

Good food, great beer selection and wonderful service. Walked in and sat at the bar, bartender was very friendly and insightful on what they had on tap. Also helped me to navigate Boston better.

One of my favorite places in the city. The food is always top of the line and they have a very large beer menu. My favorite thing about them is their wild game menu that gets posted around 5:30pm every night. I chose the yak burger which was surprisingly great but they also had an antelope steak as the other option. It is usually pretty busy everytime I go but I've never had to wait long. The service was fast and they were all very pleasant

I was looking forward to finally trying this place out. My Dora cocktail was tasty but seemed warm or it just cooled down too fast. I think it would have been better on the rocks. I had the Tip Tap salad with turkey tips. They were overcooked and I didn't even eat one of the 3. It was tough to even cut into it. I should have returned them to the kitchen. They also had no seasoning that I could taste. A lemon pepper marinade would have been an ideal match to the flavors in the salad and would have helped tenderize the turkey. My colleague had the steak fritte and it was very good, cooked medium rare. I would like to give them another try. It might have been an off night.

The tip tap room was lovely. The burgers were yummy and the prices were decent. The chef also had some unique specials which was fun for the more daring friend. The food was also filling.

Parking on the street can be a little tricky so carpool or take the T.

It might look like just another bar but it was far from it. Our dinner really was a high quality experience. The drinks were great, our appetizer was fresh and delicious (large in size so perfect for sharing in larger groups). We got 3 main dishes: the italian sausage burger with cheese, the steak tips, and the short rib and noodles. The short rib and noodles arrived first; the noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth was so flavorful; completely unexpected. The steak tips and burger came out at the same time and to our surprise the kitchen split the dishes perfectly in two so that each of our plates had half of the dish rather than eating off of each other's plates. Its as if they knew we would be sharing. The burger was seriously mind blowing, so flavorful and the fries were so fresh and crispy. Our steak tips were cooked slightly longer than what we asked (asked medium rare, got more medium) none the less it was still delicious. The chili peppers they come with really enhanced the dish. The atmosphere was also great, very casual and comfortable but with the customer service of fine dining lol (very nice and attentive servers and bussers) great for groups of all sizes it seems. we will definitely be back!

Favorite place on my first visit to Boston. The beer list is awesome, not only rare beers but they've got all the styles covered. Food was great too. I tried the antelope burger and the swordfish tips, both were very good.

Amazing tap list (that is way more extensive than their Untappd shows). Cocktails were intelligent and well constructed. Staff was friendly, down to earth and conversational. I did not eat there but food looked great (kitchen was open late). I hope to return for food...

One of my favorite food spots in Boston. Before or after a trip to the Garden, or when we have business in the city, we always try to get to the Tip Tap Room. Tons of beers on tap, and ALWAYS amazing and creative food selections on the menu.

Great option for brunch! Large assortment of cocktails, including mocktails. The cold brew coffee is excellent. Tip Tap breakfast was solid, the everything bagel with steak tips was incredibly flavorful and filling, but the highlight were the french toast doughnut holes - oh my goodness, those were decadent!

It was a beautiful day so we were able to sit by the open window which added to the experience, and everyone working there was smiling and looked happy to be there.

Prices were incredibly reasonable for all the food we ordered. We will definitely come back.

Great food and excellent selection of beers. Full bar. Table service. Wall/windows that open fully during nice weather. Options for vegetarians. Fun choices for meat eaters (e.g. wild boar). Often busy after work. Pleasant for a lunch, and serving food into the late night. A few minutes walk from government center or Charles/MGH T stops.

I had the steak burger, but with the toppings that come on the antelope burger. It was amazing! Meat was very tender and the flavor was spot on. Had a Prairie/Evil Twin Bible Belt stout on tap and I really enjoyed it. Good service, good food. Can't ask for more!

We have been using the Tip Tap for 5 plus years as an after Pride Parade gathering spot. We like the menu and beverage choices a lot but one of the best things is the open front wall. It's the best of being outside but having inside conveniences.
