Good price-performance ratio for a restaurant on Sanibel especially if you use the early bird offer, it is advisable to reserve a table from 18:00

Parking lot was pretty full but this place is larger than it looks. Waited at the bar for 15 minutes then was seated. Got the last portion of hogfish which was large a good.

Great atmosphere, steak good, peanut butter pie delicious.

Very disappointed. Old and dark decor. Ordered crab stuffed mushrooms that had no crabmest, but a ton of breadcrumb stuffing. Only decent appetizer was the plank smoked salmon. Won't go back anytime soon.

Always a great place to eat on Sanibel. Great steak and seafood. Waitress was very nice and always there when we needed her. It is pricey though but worth it. This is where we eat at for our last night before we leave.

My favorite restaurant hands down. Always my number one stop when I go to Sanibel. Every meal is incredible, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

It's not fast or inexpensive, but the variety of fresh seafood you can get is impressive. The Thai chili sauce on virtually any piece of fish is delicious.

Always the first place we have dinner on vacation. Love the New England Clam Chowder and Crab Cakes; also tried the Fried Oysters for the first time and they are really good too!

Worst fish food I ever had.... I don t understand how this Restorante has 4.2 stars... amazing how bad is the food there, my 16 years old son cooks much much better.

Way Overpriced. Mediocre, small portions. $33 Snapper entree pasty, inedible. Bread was best part.

I was directed here as I wanted to watch a football game. They have several TVs and there aren't many places on the island to watch a game. I found the staff to be very friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced and service was pretty quick even when they were crowded.

been coming to Sanibel for 20 years, and somehow never stopped in. Finally did, and the food, atmosphere, and service was fantastic.

Very comfortable and inviting atmosphere!
Waiters and host were very friendly and helpful. A great family oriented place to eat on the island with a wonderful selection of sea food, and options for the children, as well.
Prices are reasonable for the island, and parking is easily accessible. We would absolutely reccomend this one to friends!

Good food. I had a steak it was pretty good. Prices are about right. Lively atmosphere.

We ate at the Sanibel Grill that was attached to the Timbers. We started out with the Big Bang Shrimp that were spicy and delicious. Our meals were lovely. We had the Cobb salad topped with crunchy grouper- fabulous! We also had the Sunday special ribs; they did not disappoint. This will definitively be a return destination. Our waitress, a Jacksonville fan, was kind and attentive ( even though her team didn t make the playoffs).

The food was wonderful cooked as requested, staff was rude. Dusty atmosphere.

My wife ordered lobster scampi with a sweat potato, fresh vegetable medley, and a Caesar salad. After listening to the waiter about what fish was locally caught I decided on the yellow edge grouper (They called it the "Rolls Royce" of the groupers), rice pilaf, fresh vegetable medley, and New England clam chowder. Oh my, with one exception (lobster scampi was slightly over cooked) it was totally AWESOME. Yum, yum!

Wow! Everything was delicious. From the crab bisque, the oyster sampler, and the delocate fried oysters. We will be back!

Food was outstanding... I had parmesan encrusted Chilean sea bass, my wife the shrimp skewers, and my daughter(cecelia is 2) had the fried grouper... We had New England clam chowder, crab stuffed mushrooms, and escargot for appetizers... Everything was perfect

Seafood was very fresh but needed more seasoning. Staff was friendly and helpful and the wait is shorter if you go early

I have been here a few times over the years. Never had a bad thing to say. Fresh fresh fresh seafood. Most of it was probably swimming the morning before it was put on the plate.

We quit eating here when we saw cockroaches. They gave us a $25.00 dollar gift certificate but we have never used it.

A tad on the pricey side, but not without good cause. The fish is always outstanding, and the environment is classy and kitschy, without even the slightest wiff of taking itself too seriously. I've been vacationing on the island for at least ten years, and the food has never failed to impress. A must visit for dinner while staying on the island.
A word to the wise: call ahead for dinner. The Timbers can have a bit of a wait later in the evenings, so calling at least 30 minutes in advance can save on waiting to be seated.

What a dinner! we ordered bang bang shrimp for appetizer, clam shower soup and red snapper, everything was fresh and delicious. The place inside is clean and service was phenomenal.

Timbers has the best Blue Crab Bisque, Manhattan Chowder, and New England ClamWin Chowder. The grilled shrimp is delicious!

Excellent service. Great food. Large selection of seafood dishes. Tasty desserts. Will make this a regular place to eat during my stay in Sanibel, FL.

Treated well, the meal was good. We ate the previous night at their other restaurant ~ the prawnbroker and I would say it was slightly better. All in all a good meal. Higher $$$

The best food in Sanibel Florida hands down!! The service was fast and always on top of providing whatever you need as soon as you ask for it! Expect to spend at least $100 for 2 people but so worth it!! You must try the lobster bisque!

Went there for dinner with the kids and repeated the very next day. Big Bang shrimp and crunchy grouper were excellent.

Nice atmosphere, good service. Had the fresh grouper, very mild and good but I thought needed flavor. Our server brought me some mango sauce which was good.

The restraunt and food was just OK. It wasn't bad and it wasn't great. We ordered calamari, oysters, lobster and red snapper. Atmosphere reminded me of a tiki bar.

Always great...only had one upset. And this was on a slow Summer evening.. And that was on a take out order...which I shall try again, later this month..the food was excellent as always..but the scallops were not fried, like I specified and I thought they had forgotten the salad dressing, but finally found it at the bottom of the salad...(when it was too late).. I have been coming here for well over 25 years..and am always satisfied when eating in....happy memories and a big chuckle when I think of his Christmas display, many years ago.... while he was on San Cap...he had a group of dolphins hooked up to Santa's sleigh, as if they were heading down Rabbit rd. to the restaurant.. Unfortunately, the city had no sense of humour and had him remove it...

By far the freshest and best seafood on island. Love it here and never leave without a visit. We also get our fresh seafood here to cook at home. A must on sanibel.
