A perfect weekend getaway with lots of fun activities inside. Excellent service and great food

Tall trees is a seriously relaxing place. Set in a forest location your accommodation is private bungalows with balconies looking into the tree canopies, giving views of the wildlife not usually seen.. Service is excellent with staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. The real treat is the food for which superlatives cannot do justice. All the flavours and spices kerala can provide, blended artfully into carefully crafted dishes.

Best part about this resort was greenery.they have well maintained the report.a morning walk is must.you will have lots of activities to do over here only so no need to go outside if you are a nature lover.
But I don't like their food at all so it's better to go outside for food.

Set amidst tall trees and greenery. Cottages in the middle of a forest-like place, up on the hills. A nice romantic getaway

Wonderfully built resort among some really old and tall trees.

Awesome place, I actually didn't stay there went for a coffee in their restaurant still they gave good hospitality and was happy about the snack juice and tea we had there. And the place is mind boggling, full of tall trees and the restaurant is at a height so you will have a feel that you are on some tall tree house. Only down side for people who stay there will be to walk inside the campus because it's a mountain and from you stay to the restaurant and back will be a good climb. But very scenic so you will enjoy that also.

We had such an amazing experience at Tall trees Munnar. The stay was extremely comfortable and staff was cordial. The property is excellent.

Nice resort in an awesome place.Beautiful climate.The property surrounded with real tall trees.Its a beautiful Cardamom forest.We can enjoy the every moment with the song of birds.

Excellent place to spend a vacation. Excellent Staff and Management, in particular Manager Manikandan [He is so Polite and Pro]. No second thoughts, go for it!!

Nice location and Friendly staff. No alcohol available. But you bring your own. Rooms always damp due to location. Heating in the rooms would be a help.

Very Beautiful resort very good staff and Good Food But this place is located very far from all the locations you want to visit.

no fridge, no microwave and no heater for the tariff of a five star hotel. No license for serving liquor. Restaurant is good and rooms are spacious and well kept.

The fantastic environment to spend time with family and friends but but expensive .

Tall trees resort is situated inside a good cardamon plantation with giant tall trees. You can breathe pure air, enjoy the refreshing cool climate and peaceful atmosphere. Mobile network range is very low so you could relax and enjoy. There is a restaurant with good food but the rate is bit high.. Very good place for the family especially for the children..

The resort is just another heaven on Earth , food quality menu and taste need to be improved , staffs are quit friendly .

A paradise-like resort, the service is kind and thoughtful, few Taiwanese will come here, today only we and the French regiment

The best time to visit without rain was in November.
As we had reached late at night, the dinner was hot, fresh waiting for us @10:30 pm right in our room.
The resort is the best private stay resort with the best facilities.
The rooms are in lap of nature still enjoying the comfort like your own home.
Breakfast was so good with all type of variety from western food to South, North Indian.

Beautiful setting surrounded by nature. A tea tasting and a walk on the tea plantation were offered. Friendly and helpful staff. It cools down considerably in the evening.

Since the moment of arrival there was magic in the air. Empathic staff, attending to all of our needs, regardless of the time of the day, allowed for that magic to take place. Enchanting ambience among the tall trees that are natively installed amidst the trails and huts. Rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped; private and also have lovely views of the misty forest. The nature surrounds you wherever you go. For us, this was the greatest attraction of our visit to Munnar. We came for one night, but couldn't resist staying another, as other honeymoon couples like us did as well.

Set amidst tall trees and cardamom plantation, the resort is a great escape from busy city life. In the morning you will be awakened by chirping of birds to a view of trees covered in mist. Courteous and friendly staff. Great food!

Tall trees is a beautiful resort embedded in the midst of nature.It s very peaceful and definitely go for it if you are a nature lover.The staff we re really polite and helpful and the food was amazing-worth every penny.The restaurant has seating with an outdoor view too which is really amazing!
Would definitely love to go back there soon enough...!

It's awesome place to visit with family or partner, nice place, good food, the resort staff and restaurant staffs are very good, they have trekking inside the resort only, we can go for morning walk with their staff to near tea estate. Totally worth for money. Cottages are very clean and neat. It's beautiful only.

Just delightful. Wonderful staff, food, location and rooms. The TV was not working (which was actually a blessing in such a lovely location) and the walls are a bit thin, but these are minor quibbles. Thanks for having us!

In the middle of the jungle literally. The cottages are well placed with great view of greeneries and forest from the balcony. Tea plantation is nearby. A very well maintained resort in the heart of nature.

We just went to the resort for a lunch only as we were planning to stay in a plantation resort nearby..We first called the resort asking when will be the lunch ready and they said the meal time is 12:30, but they can serve us by 12..we reached there at 11:30 and just roamed around within the resort premises..As the name says..it's all tall trees and nature protected and maintained to its best..it's for this only I have given a star to them..food was ready by 12:30 only..we were quite ok as we got time to spend in the garden..we were the only ones in the restaurant..we ordered Mutton soup first..it was not good as it was only spicy and the mutton pieces inside it feels like it's frozen for a long time..we skipped it and orders a Poricha kozhi/Fried chicken biriyani(Chef's special : they say) and a Mutton biriyani..both were sooo bad..chicken was just half cooked and not at all tasty..case with the mutton was not different..I'm sure that it was kept for a very very long time as it just felt like a rubber piece..we just had a couple of bites only and asked for a lemon tea and a fruit salad..at that time a supplier asked us about the food and we said the same to him..they brought the fruit salad and it looks like I ordered it from a roadside coolbar and not from a 4 hotel..luckily my lemon tea was good, as preparing it is not a rocket science..The worst thing in this..we didnt had anything much from there..more than 90% we ordered was lying in the table only..but none of them asked anything further about the food and why we didnt had anything..they gave us the bill..we paid and walked away..I wonder how they got a 4+ rating in Google..I don't think that keeping the nature good only can provide us a good time in the resort..most important is food and in that respect tall trees is a big zero..

Superb resort. The tall tree theme is really good. It was even more beautiful in a rainy day. Staff is really professional. Neat and clean resort.

Fantastic location right in amongst the trees but great walks to see sunset and surrounding scenery. Lots of little touches to make it special with swings in trees,colonial style games reading room and quotes along the paths. Excellent staff . Tea tasting and facial great. Buffet food mediocre but a la carte very good and not expensive and good service also have beer available!! Definitely recommend for a memorable experience.

Don't miss the tea plant visit which is around one kilometer from the resort and try to visit in the early hours of the day.
