Cool & calm atmosphere..awsome resort in munnar..well behaved staff and hygienic room.

Close to nature.they many activities the pice is little high for a budgeted traveller

I have stayed here for 2 days,as it s name indicates resort is surrounded by tall trees and gives a forest atmosphere.our cottage was near a small waterfall its sound creates an awesome feeling .All staff are excellent and friendly.Restaurant ambiance and service is really good,don t miss the viewpoint near the property that is amazing.I will definitely refer this place to others.thanks to tall tree team for giving such a good experience.

Quiet and beautiful. The road is very bad and terrifying. Do not go this route with pregnant women.

The hotel location is oh-so-amazing, just as the name suggests, balcony opens to the view of tall trees and beautiful sounds of birds amidst serenity.

Overall an amazing experience.
The only con that comes with it is climbing up the hill to reach the restaurant specially after a long day sightseeing going up there was really tiring.
But would recommend for sure. Worth it

Great place. Location is superb. Lots of Tall Trees Around. The rooms were clean and had balcony. The facilities were excellent. We loved the table tennis and other gaming facilities provided. The Shola trek was a nice experience with the sunset view in the evening. The kids play area was also cool. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The service was too good. The food was delicious and price was within expectations. The buffet spread was sumptuous and we loved the desserts provided. Overall a great place to spend some quality time with family in the company of nature.

Was there with wife and young kids in may 2007. Probably once of the best holidays we have ever enjoyed. Green rustic forest like environment and natural features like hillock and meadow inside resort. Food was gorgeous.

Excellent property and well maintained, staff is very helpful and buffet breakfast and dinner was awesome.

Great resort. As the name resembles, it's actually tall trees with more than 500 tall trees. It was an amazing experience staying here. Excellent hospitality. Good quality & delicious food. Overall it's awesome.

The Tall Trees Resorts in one of the best in Munnar. In the middle of the plantations, surrounded by tall trees as the name suggests, you can enjoy a very pleasant and calm stay.

Great hospitality, awesome food and a good ambience among the 'tall trees' make it a 5/5 for me.

In short, It's a plantation stay!!. Nestled in the beautiful and serene cardamom plantation of about 70 acres.. Very helpful and courteous staff will make your stay pleasant.

Little secluded..lovely tall trees all around.. . Uphill walk from room to restaurant... Well you will be ferried by a van if you wisj... But it is bit clumsy... Evening or morning walks with a naturalist are enjoyable. Food is OK. Bit on the expensive side

If you love trees and the Flora, surrounded by cardamom and tea plantations, then this is the place to be. Early morning walks you can listen to birds chirping and if lucky Whistling of the Malabar Whistling Thrush. Good food lovely accommodation. Satisfying experience.

One of the luxurious resorts near Munnar. Fantastic place for a memorable stay and experience. The restuarant here is very good with exotic views and very nice service. The staff is very courteous. Food is very nice with Meen Palichatu being the attraction of the menu. All other cuisines are also good to try there.

Amazing picturesque location, excellent hospitality, spa is great, food is decent.I have reduced one star for the restaurant that is on the mount everest.Anyone with elderly people in the group have to forget eating in the restaurant.Otherwise...just the best place.Definitely recommend

Where you can breakfast at canopy level, watch the birds and catch sight of the Giant Malabar Squirrel. Food is fantastic and the Accommodation is top notch. A rather steep site! Staff are super helpful and attentive.

One of the best experiences I ve had staying in a resort. This place is brimming with beautiful energy and stunning greenery, as far as the eye can see! The staff was so kind and efficient, thank you for taking care of us so well!

While going to this place don't use Google map app.it misleads you.
Go through munnar highway.

Food is not good as expected.
Drinks are also not available.
Due care while going.
Dont use google map. It will give you shorttest rout but almost undrivable conditions.

Fantastic resort, a very different one. Over 500 varieties of tall trees, and the trees are really tall and very old. Spread across many acres, this definitely is a great place for relaxation with family. Definitely expensive.

One of the best properties in Munnar. A place you'd want to stay in for days. The ambience, service, and the property itself was beautiful. The food was more for an international palate. But we asked them to cook up an authentic Kerela style sapadam. And it was mind blowing.

Nice place to relax and to enjoy a peaceful stay amidst tall trees. Tea plantations just outside the resort. Note - steep pathways inside the resort but vehicle is provided whenever needed, especially for going to the restaurant.

Oh my God.... How well and beautifully they have designed this place. Closest to the best of nature that you can get to... Is this place. Everything is thoughtfully designed.

Good accommodation and service. Nice ambience in the restaurant but food needs to improve a little(no deal breaker). The buffet spread has good options. Daily activities like treaking, tea tasting and evening walk through tea estate to watch the sunset are good. The staff members are very dedicated and take good care of the guests.

I could not find any flaws. Awesome rooms, excellent staff, brilliant and mesmarising location bang in the middle of nature. Great activities being organised daily which is included in the cost. Nice breakfast. Be there to believe should be on your bucket list...

Planning to visit Munnar? "TheTall trees Resort"is the place to stay!!! Believe me, even if you don't go out sight seeing and simply roam around in the resort, your day would still be perfect! The ambience is outstanding! It's a beautified forest! The staff service is none that I've experienced before. Everybody were very warm and welcoming! A wonderful place to spend your time. They even offer various kinds of ayurvedic massages. The restaurant was also good. Food was delicious. During our 2 day stay, we had zero complaints. A must place to be in! Congrats to the team for setting up such a beautiful place!

I was craving for a blissful experience in Munnar before my trip, and it got fulfilled here. Felt as if I am truly in the lap of nature away from the noise, traffic and pollution. The morning trek within the property was so refreshing, the rooms are nice and cozy, the view from multiple points of the property are amazing. The staff is extrmely courteous and polite.
The experience actually made us think to extend our stay, unfortunately couldn't do that.
Pls contact the property for the correct route as the shortest route is bad to drive.
Highly recommended.

One of the best resorts in Munnar. Super ambience and very good hospitality.

Amidst the nature s womb resides this green paradise of humongous trees touching the sky, 26 life changing suites created in the middle of the forest will give you a mesmerising experience of chirping birds and tiny amphibians. All this in a remote place near the Munnar town.
The view from the villas is inspiring of how beautiful our mother earth is and makes you soak into the green cover.
I would recommend a 3 day visit to this place to revive our inner senses.
Food is great at the Hill spice restaurant and the staff is very responsive to all our needs.

Right from Scheduled Trail Walks, Indoor Game Area, Spa, everything was class apart.

Perfect place to reclaim your soul...So tranquil... They have a large area converted into a resort which include all modern amenities and the best part among them is a trucking trail.... Staff is very polite and helpful...

just spent 2 nights and an evening /morning. really exceptional ambience-- the clear and unobstructed view of the setting sun as beautiful as the sound of birds twittering throughout the day. human sounds and activities do not intrude on one's enjoyment of the rainforest flora--the place lives up to its name with really tall trees 20 mtrs plus in height and many bearing secondary vegetation. The small climb up to the dining room/amenities area makes for a good post prandial walk. one could perhaps make a stay here the base for exploring the Kerala High Ranges and their attractions.

Tall Trees!!! What should I say about this place, I will give 5 star rating before I give any comments about the resort.
Situated away from Munnar town and it is in amazing location in the middle of cardamom plantation without any pollution, staffs are well trained and they are really helpful at any time and anything you ask. Well furnished rooms, landscape and good housekeeping team.
About restaurant, limited menu in a la carte but you get quality food with good taste.
About Ayurveda, don t miss this part if you are going to tall trees. I been to couple of Ayurveda massage centers in Kerala, but Tall tree massage guys are very professional and they are real experts. I did massage for de-stress and its really works, so don t miss it.
About sightseeing, they have places in 4 directions (Coimbatore direction, Maetupatyy direction, Thekkady direction and Kochi direction), out of these 4 direction, local people say that Maetupatyy direction has lot of sightseeing places and that direction is more active and I went to this direction for one day, but I am telling you it s absolutely a waste of time and waste of money, you can see a lake, few view points, a photo point and a dam. People who travelled to Ooty, Koday please don t go this direction for sightseeing, its waste and nothing to see here. And if you going in rented car, they charge 2000/- rs, you can spend this 2000/- rs in massage or some good food or just spend time in Tall trees. I don t know about other direction sightseeing, so no comments.
