I have stayed here for 2 days with my friends. Calm place. Well furnished cottages. During the stay at cottage , I had a feeling of living in the forest. As the name indicates there is a lot of trees. Morning here will b blessed with cuckoo of birds. Hill spice restaurant is glass topped restaurant with multicuisine amidst the tall trees. U can feel the nature here.Road to this property after pothamedu view point was little bit bad.Manager was awesome service was superb and food was good.

You can't expect more from a holiday destination.Great place, greater staff and the greatest surroundings !!!

This is one the places that the name also doesn't fully describe. This is in the middle of 60 plus acres of forest, overlooking tall trees and misty vales.

The rooms are spacious and neat, and have uniformly excellent views. They even have in house trekking trails.

If anything their F&B needs a bit of improvement, but given that this is one of those places where you truly feel alone with nature, without the noise, pollution and crowds it's a fair bargain.

The staff too is friendly which makes the stay better.

Clean and nice environment , food was amazing and they specially prepare for specific orders, peaceful place to enjoy with family, kids park and a brisk morning nature walk was really good. The staff were really helpful. Looking forward to go again.

Had a peaceful stay here, away from the city, amazing hospitality. If you are looking for a calm & peaceful stay this place is worth it..!!!

This resort is awesome with self trekking, evening tea trial, evening bon fire. The welcome tea was awesome. The staff is very helpful and polite. It is expensive place but it's totally worth it. You can see the beautiful tea plantation from your room. Amazing

Close to Nature

The property is very well maintained. The location is amazing with good service.you get to feel the real munnar within the property itself. The cottages are spacious and very clean. The property is little far from the bus stand but a cab can be arranged. Food was okay but can be improved. Facilities are good

A calm, quite and beautiful place to spend some quality leisure time and feel the nature. The facility is managed by very friendly, genuine and professional crew.

Great infrastructure, wonderful ambience, resort is filled with birds and we got to see mountain squirrels too, would recommend to friends and family without a doubt.

Best place to stay for newly married couples....as the name says trees in this area are really tall. Staffs are very polite and friendly. Rooms are neat and Clean. They will arrange Candle light dinner on request. The stay was very nice and memorable.... Taste of food is good but prices are little high....

Nice property, nice people especially Azhagu Pandi at the restaurant. All comes with very high price. Approaching road to this resort is pathetic to the core, I have taken my car but post the travel I had to spent hefty money.

Wonderful restaurant in Munnar which guarantees the best memories for your trip which is surrounded by tall trees and located on a mountain cliff. I have been there for a 3 days stay and it was very pleasant and memorable one. The food in the restaurant was awesome and the service staffs are so supportive. We opted for breakfast and dinner while booking but after tasting it we decided to have lunch also there itself. Highly recommended resort for a pleasant stay in Munnar.

Amazing Hospitality. Great Staff. We explored a lot before booking Tall tree and than just booked it keeping our fingers crossed . But must stay it was a good decision. Just book it without second thought.

Great place away from the hustle bustle of the city. Surrounded by really tall trees. Good food and a peaceful stay. Rooms are very well maintained and hygiene is top notch.

Amidst the nature s womb resides this green paradise of humongous trees touching the sky, 26 life changing suites created in the middle of the forest will give you a mesmerising experience of chirping birds and tiny amphibians. All this in a remote place near the Munnar town.
The view from the villas is inspiring of how beautiful our mother earth is and makes you soak into the green cover.
I would recommend a 3 day visit to this place to revive our inner senses.
Food is great at the Hill spice restaurant and the staff is very responsive to all our needs.

Fabulous location in a shola forest. Look out for the Malabar giant squirrel. The food was not necessarily something to write home about but the service and staff were pleasant and welcoming.

I am writing this review for tall trees almost 14 years, after the most cherished visit of my life with my family. Tall trees is a resort I'll never forget in my life wherever I go around the world , for the experience it gave me. I think I visited tall trees shortly after it established. The cottages were heavenly. The pathways- wonderful. Staffs ever so caring. You can get lost in the sensations the resort can offer. I was below 10 years of age when I visited. If the experience still thrills me at the age of 24 , then i can leave it to your imagination to ponder. I am not aware of the current details or services offered. Thinking of visiting tall trees again, to renew my memories and ...to get more pics , as it was a time when phones and cameras were not mainstream Thank you Tall Trees team for such haven.

It's really amazing experience, must try resort in Munnar especially for couples and families....feels like staying inside forest..... Food is also very good.... slightly pricey but taste is super good...... Overall it's a very nice experience....take a break and Feels the nature....

This place is just awesome. If you are booking this resort then spend all the day here.. Don't go outside. This place is full of fun and you will enjoy trekking in morning.

One among the top 5 resorts in Munnar.
The resort in the midst of 600 odd tall Shola trees. Any time of the year is ideal to visit this place .
Cottages at the stunning property are surrounded by greenery. They have private balconies, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.
There are many outdoor activities like trekking through the forest and cardamom plantations (birds chirping and squirrels squeaking can be heard ) children's park, basketball, and do not miss the morning trek in the Tata tea estate which is 5min walk from the resort .
The service was too good.

The place was very beautiful.The hotel was in the middle of the forest.This was the best hotel I stayed in in Kerala (India)

One of the best honeymoon resort in munnar .The service is top quality..friendly people and pure nature. The most memorable experience I had was the candlelight dinner they arranged for us in the restaurant.It was kind of a dream one .Imagine you are sitting with your partner touching the top of a tall tree and enjoying the breeze of munnar.I recommend anyone to do it once if you are staying in Tall trees .The cottages take you to the heaven of peace. You are literally escaping from your city life if you are inside this awesome place .Moreover the staff treats you to the levels you don't even think of.Perfect place for couples.Hats off to Tall Tree Team..!!

It's a wonderful property located at a really nice elevation at Munnar, near the town. It is very close to nature and the ambience is really good. The accommodation is very homely and the off-season rates are good. I went there to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary, it was a very pleasant experience.

Lovely place for vacation, Dense forest feeling, adventurous trecking inside property and really eye catching property...advise others to stay.

Tall Tree is the best place to stay in Munnar if you are game for a perfect peaceful holiday situated in a hill surrounded by forest, It offers the best luxury experience The cottages are spacious, well maintained and tastefully done The staff are courteous and helpful, The recreation room is well equipped and the Spa is very good Worth a stay for families with small kids as well as honeymooners

Really good property with lush greenery all around. Trees in the property are really tall. Cottages are nicely located on one side while rest of the huge property is just green! Fantastic stay for family and couples. Staff is nice and courteous. Just be careful with Google Maps instructions while reaching the location since it misses a key turn on a small dam. Call the hotel once you reach Munnar and confirm the driving directions.

What to say everything perfect.

Excellent place for honeymooners (and maybe for others too). Breakfast spread had variety and taste both. Great cottages with an awesome view from balcony. They didn't have liquor so I bought it from outside during sightseeing. We then ordered food from their restaurant and had a candle light (actually phone flashlight) dinner in our balcony. Best night we had.
Reaching for the first time is a bit difficult after dark. Google maps suggested route is not recommended. Better to reach Munnar first and then ask locals or the resort management.

Amzaing hospitality kudos to staff, quite isolated away from city noise , sweet singing birds, tasty food and of course tall misty trees !! Thank you !

In to the forest

Had an amazing stay in this resort during the monsoon time (July). Road connectivity to reach the resort is poor so it is always better to take advice from resort staff. This place is best suitable for couples as privacy & peace of mind is guaranteed.We stayed in Cinnamon Cottage which is a single room with balcony. Room is spacious enough for couples.Cottages are surrounded by tress so you will always hear birds chirping. They have a very good restaurant which serves buffet as well as A la carte. Food was amazing.Resort staff are very courteous & helping. All together had a wonderful time.

Situated far away from cities, this is perfect getaway with family or friends. The Staff are very friendly and peace and tranquility at this place will get you relaxed like nothing else. Make sure you drive here during day time, as the road to this place is a bit difficult to find during night time.

Luxury resort in munnar deep in the woods. Great escape.

Unfortunately we only stayed here one night due to our travel plans, but this is a beautiful resort. Hidden away in the forest surrounded by bird sounds and nature, and a quick walk to the stunning tea plantations. Our dinner was great, we ate all veg southern Indian and it was delicious. We took one of the walks that are organized daily, very friendly staff. Roads are not so great as the area is still feeling the effect of heavy flooding 2 seasons ago they told us, so your ride will be bumpy but worth it.

Perfect place to experience the beauty of nature.
The best part is the ambience and surroundings. Covered with the amazing and beautiful flora, this resort provides everything one needs to get himself cut off from today's so messed up city life. The architecture of the resort mixes up so well with the natural environment that you wont realize the artificial things there :)
Also the staff, their hospitality, the facilities and services is commendable.

Overrated resort. No valley views for which most people go to Munnar. Property is good but not well maintained

One could hear the sound of leaves in wind all the time in night. This place is really surrounded by lot of tall trees. Good place to stay in munnar, climate is cold around this property. They offer good breakfast and dinner. Menu is rich in indian and continental items. They provide trekking to a hill within the property in the morning.

Super experience.Cottage houses are placed in the centre of nature. Rustling of waterfall and chirping of birds early in the morning was an amazing experience..Fresh Air and close to nature.Great food of the restaurant and pay the tip to the staff as they are helpful and innocent.

If u like peace n natural stay than it is heaven for u. Name it self surrounding tall trees. staf is humble n helpful. Food is very nice. Full marks...

Great place. Lots of tall tree around. The kids play area was gud. The services was too gud. The food was delicious. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Location is superb. The rooms were clean and had seperate balcony for each. We loved the table tennis and other gaming facilities provided. Lots of books to read in a separate room. Spa is also very gud and calm. Must try atleast hot oil massage awesome u will definitely feel relax after this massage. Overall gud experience and a great place to spend quality time with ur loved ones.
