Very handy for the beach, but a bit crowded and noisy.

Has a pretty simple menu (always a good sign) and was very dog friendly. Food was fine and enjoyable if, perhaps, not quite hot enough. Would recommend.

A very busy place to come. I was meeting friends here and the place was packed. Never been before so it's nice to go somewhere new. Despite being busy service was friendly and nice. Coffees and tea delivered to the table but lots of shouting out numbers . We waited for our food but it wasn't too long a wait and the service staff were super helpful. I can see the attraction but just to busy for me. Nice to see dogs let in and everyone cheerful so it must be good.

Nice bar for a hot day. Beer at a good price as well

Right beside were we teach skateboarding. The head coach also built the skatepark. Highly reccomemded the perch its staff and food are amazing

Very good seafront informal restaurant Worth the trek.

Really want to love the Perch. The food was good although expensive. The service really lets them down, staff taking lunch break in the restaurant during peak serving times may have something to do with it.

Tasty food, sometimes tricky to get a table. Very unflexible with the food options

Lovely cafe fantastic coffee with a nice slice of cake. Very dog friendly.

Possibly the worst fish'n chips ever. Chips saturated with oil and the batter was just as bad. Not cheap either!!!

Beach was nice lots going on with a Phillipino food festival on the green. THE PERCH itself was poor and unwelcomeing with long wait between ordering and service. Coffee was good though.

Absolutely excellent takeaway haddock and chips today. Beautifully fresh fish and crispy chips what more could you want to eat outside on a windy bright sky day next to the sea.

Stopped here for a beer nice place and opening times are really odd

Superb cafe/ restaurant at "Perch" and lots of play areas nearby for kids, including skate park, adventure park (climbing wall, swings, slides, rope tower, lower level climbing frames suitable for 2 yr old plus). Lovely beach front with promenade.

Coffee was alright, the millionaire slice was awesome and sitting outside gave me a view of a stranded digger.

Perch is the best thing about Lancing apart from the beach itself. Try the dirty chips!

Good food and beverages. Sea views out of the wind! Always busy but usually a seat comes available quickly. A good destination to head to if you are walking from Shoreham or Worthing.

Salads great. Fish finger sarnie good too. Burger OK and onion rings a bit disappointing. Great location and atmosphere. Kids and dogs welcome.

Lovely place for a coffee and a bite to eat, gets very busy in the summer. You can see a great sunset on a clear day at this time of the year (December)

This was our first visit to the Perch, and it was great. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Very comfortable and clean, we hope to return.

Bit disappointed today I'm afraid. Long wait for food, undercooked steak, overcooked mussels, wine that didn't arrive. I have eaten here many times but today did not live up to the usual standards. Shame.

Very poor - they split the cooking area and the drinks area up seperately which is why they say they cant coordinate serving food and drinks at the same time - so had breakfast to eat fifteen minutres before I got my drink and they thought it was odd that I wanted the two together. manager was very unhelpful and the staff spend a lot of time talking and hanging around. they could have sorted the drinks while they were stood about

Lively atmosphere and friendly staff, very busy at weekends, but dont let that put you off!! Seating inside and out. Coffee is lovely and they serve alcohol and food too. Only grumble, is I dont believe dogs should be allowed in where food is being served, hence 4 star rating

Delicious. Very fresh ingredients and wonderful flavors. Right on the beach with views of the off shore wind farm. Our second time here in a few days.

Went in Friday morning there were four other people in there waitress said she would be back in a minute to take our order 20 minutes later we walked out the two girls laughed and carried on chatting so we went to the rainbow cafe up the road half the price twice as much food really friendly staff.

Really nice place but prices for food and beer are very high which seems to be increased regularly. We go there quite often but limit what we buy to drink snd eat as a result. Could do with a bit of competition.

Great atmosphere. Friendly welcoming staff, hot chocolate with cream. Honeycomb. Caramel sauce. Marshmallow and grated chocolate is simply lush in a mug! Gorgeous latte and beautiful homemade cakes. Great cider too! Does get busy bit I don't mind as busy is a great sign

Had a better meal today. Compaired with first time we had sunday lunch there .

We had a ultimate sharing roast and it was super yummy. The pudding menu was a bit disappointing for me but that was mainly because there was nothing on it that I would've eat.

There's a decent sized accessible toilet which is fabulous and a dog friendly seating area.

Excellent service and great coffee with views to die for. Five stars in never enough.

stunning views, good breakfast options, friendly service

I know the food here is great because we have eaten here before. But disappointed to be turned away for breakfast at 11.25am when they say breakfast finishes at 11.30am. As far as I am concerned I still have 5 minutes to place my order. We settled for coffee, which took 15 minutes to arrive and despite asking for an extra hot cappuccino it was only Luke warm when arrived. Lovely cafe, but avoid weekends and bank holidays if possible. Service could be improved.

lovely family meal. we stopped by for lunch today and after waiting about 20 mins were seated in a very comfortable section. we had the chicken skewers with cous cous and our kid ate off the kids menu. we all thought it was lovely food and had a great time, nice staff too. Go!
