Food was nice but no main meals and only pizzas and entrees served

Had lunch there. Big serve, great taste and not too expensive!

Great selection at the bar, menus, atmosphere, and interior design.

Visited for dinner and drinks with friends. Food was delicious. Hotel was very clean and spacious. There was a fair queue at the counter to order and staff seemed rushed and under the pump.

Such a lovely place! Had lunch in The Dining Room - great atmosphere, very cosy, and beautifully decorated. The waitstaff were friendly, great service. Truly amazing food! Cannot fault them for anything. Will definitely return to try their desserts sometime.

Unfortunate update...my husband ordered a chicken parmigana for dinner and it came out cold...the cheese on top of the chicken was cold...such a disappointment after years of wonderful service and food...

I stayed at this hotel by accident, it was a busy week in Adelaide and everything else was booked out. I drove in very late after work, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, they prepared some food for me very late (the kitchen was closing).

The hotel is beautiful! The decor is very nice and rooms are comfortable and pretty. In the morning after a tasty breakfast, I was presently surprised by how green and well manicured Sterling town is, i wish i did not have to work and instead go for a walk. The only downside to the Sterling hotel is how incredibly popular the restaurant is, it gets really buys....but that's because the food is good!! Looking forward to bringing my husband here and staying at the Sterling hotel when i am not working.

The room we stayed in was amazing. A mix of old style with new technology. Theres a foodland right behind it, if you would like snacks or drinks. The hotel staff were also amazing

Gorgeous place to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather in the Adelaide Hills. Either outside or indoors, the Stirling Pub caters for all occasions. Sit by the fire place, with a wine or a hot drink and meal, with throw rugs provided for that extra cost feeling. This Pub is constantly changing decor, with up to date interior and exterior design. A classy, relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Food was average tonight . Had fish and prawn curry only 2 prawns, very little fish and quite watery. Plenty of rice though.

Disgusting service, had pre dinner drinks and left!

Been here quite a few times and service level fluctuates - sometimes good sometimes pretty average. Today was just poor though - got a pretty surly reaction when I asked for more bread because 3 slices wasn't enough for the massive pile of hummus we got, and copped a secret surcharge for the 'free flow pizza' which is a Sunday standard (yeah, its Oz Day, but the public holiday is tomorrow) and they kept running out of pizza and telling us they had too many orders. If you cant serve it, don't sell it. And most cartainly don't add on a secret surcharge!!

Went there for breakfast. Bacon & eggs were delivered cold. Appeared to be under staffed. Coffee was good though.

Great atmosphere on the night, bit pricey for the drinks, food prices reasonable but quality of the meals excellent, carpark was full! But parking available nearby, all in all a very good night

Enjoyable food, nice outdoor area. Chops were a little average as far as I'm concerned but Schnitzel was good. Prices were a little too high.

We went to the Stirling Hotel for family catch up.We ordered the special of the from the market -Sirlon Steak,which is very hard and not juicy even I order the medium for the steak.Also we order the roast pork as well,which is over cooked.The staff is not friendly as usual,maybe they are very busy.It was my worst experience ever.

We had dinner for the first time at the Stirling Hotel on Monday, everyone in our group enjoyed their meals immensly. We ourselvels had pizza, which was without a doubt the best I have ever had ,the ingredients were fresh and we watched it being made with expertise, as I have been a chef for a long time I am sometimes silently critical of meals when eating out but i would highly recommend the meals , service and lovely decor to anyone looking for a nice night out.

Love the pizza's here (available for take away too which is great). Also enjoy the restaurant as well. Nice outdoor deck to sit and relax. One of our favourite places to dine out.

Eaten at both the grill and the bar. Both were good. Clean, service was prompt, the vibe was upbeat, the fire was warm and the beer was cold.

For a Saturday morning breakfast... noisy, understaffed, reasonable food except for the basil oil drizzled over everything.

Always a good spot to lunch when visiting Stirling. Loads of atmosphere and an easy pub to have a drink and something to eat during the week. Can get quite busy on weekends but lots of fun.

We had a really enjoyable lunch today. The staff were without exception, welcoming and courteous. Glad we were in the Dining Room, though, because the bistro was terribly noisy. However in the Dining Room, mainly because the music was kept low, no one was yelling to be heard and it was easy to converse.

Great food and a good space outside for the kids to run around.

Great beer but the house made chips are a massive fail....asked for crispy and whilst they have a good golden caramelised colour they aren't crispy. Mouth feel is poor, like they've baked them in the oven....waste of money, don't order them.

Inflexible with the order. We only asked for normal bread instead of garlic bread and mash potatoes instead of chips. Not too hard we would have thought.
Food was sub par. No flavour. Very poor quality.
However the service from the young lady was outstanding.

Not a fan. Very modern and noisy. Bring back the country pub feel. Food is so so, nothing on offer our kids like. Yeah not likely to go back

Nice place...it looks like an old building outside but it is all nice and modern inside. Pizzas are good size and very well done. We sat at the porch and it was a great place to enjoy a good glass of wine.
