We got married in the Station House 8 years ago and it was super. We are heading to a wedding there today and looking forward to our visit back after all this time

Went there for a wedding showcase looks nice and cosy

First of all, thank you to mark who was outstanding the day before and day of wedding in every way.<br/>To be completly honest, i am very disappointed with the station house and so is my husband. Staff dont communicat with each other which i will show in my comments below<br/>1. Wedding planner never showed up.to the planned final meeting. Someone else took the meeting and the details for the wedding was wrong. They had someone elses menu among other things wrong<br/>2. None off the corrected details elwere handed over so our wedding planner was still trying to bill for the more expensive menu we never asked for<br/>3. I was told to make a playlist for the ceremony.i did so promptly and emailed both the songs and the playlist i made as i wanted a specific version of pachelbel to be played as i walked down the aisle. As i walked down the aisle they played the version of the aisle i didnt want. ( furious about thus). However during reception they played it when they were supposed to play their playlist as discussed in final meetingm i had to ask the person 'running the day' to turn off my ceremony music and play reception music.<br/>The vegetable soup wasnt the one we picked at the tasting ( creamy and full of flavour) . Instead they gave us a broth which was inedible although the rest of the food was fine.<br/>Centrepieces werent whay we asked for and chair covers dirtt with stains on them<br/>Ceremony held up 20 minutes because the hotel had not set up p.a system on time. We did mention to emma that things were not up to snuff on the day and she said she would talk to me in the morning but was nowhere to be found. The hotel is very disorganised and as you read from review lacks communication skills. The night before my wedding i was stressed womdering would they even play the music as promised. I dont reccomend here as a wedding venue despite its gorgous grounds. The service simply was not good enough despite paying thousands of money

Went for an organised meal as a party, food was very good. Nice hotel and grounds.

My family and i (4 in number) were put in a hous no.7 outside the hotel grounds the noise from the rooms above was ridiculous. We could hear every footstep through the ceiling and the squeaky floor boards may aswell been under my pillow. Do not allow yourself to be put in this house if you expect sleep. I tried to call reception at 4am and the call was not answered. All in all a disgraceful set up.

Far exceeded my expectations. Will certainly call again

We had our wedding arranged with Jade - the coordinator. The whole process was smooth, we arrived, took pictures and were seated and served shortly. Staff was extremely nice, the food was lovely and all our guests were happy and that was our aim. The hotel prepared for us a small surprise gift which made us feel as home! We recommend this place to anyone who is planning a celebration or meeting. Thank you Station House hotel, it was a special day to us!
