I love the ambiance and the view from the hotel is stunning. Since we originally booked The Lodge and it wasn't available, the staff rebooked us in the Aspire Residences, which was a good deal. My husband and I liked the privacy and modern amenities of the Aspire Residences. We took advantage of the full kitchen and did takeout one night and cooked breakfast one morning. The bed was comfortable. The staff was responsive when my husband asked for extra toilet paper, etc. Our stay was well worth it.

We love coming here whenever we visit Estes Park. The host was lovely, and we appreciated their COVID precautions. Unfortunately after waiting for our chance to order, our cocktails were awful. My wife's whiskey sour, which is a drink she always loves, was obviously very little whiskey and made with sour mix (which should never be used in a good whiskey establishment), and absolutely gross. They put a TON of sweet vermouth in my Manhattan, so way too sweet, and we both couldn't finish our $12+ cocktails. I write this in hopes that they re-dial in their cocktail program, which we know was amazing in the past.

Fantastic stay. Stayed in the Aspire building suites.very modern compared to the main hotel building. Great for larger families!! Very comfortable beds, in suite washer and dryer, 2 TVs, large shower. The hotel tour was awesome and it was great learning about the hotels past, the movies filmed there (ie The Shining), and it's supposedly supernatural sightings. Will definitely stay again but next time will stay on the 4th floor of the main building without kids where the most ghost sightings are said to happen.

I have been here quite a few times. Last time was in August 2020. The tours are always exceptional and the staff in every department is always so kind, fun, and willing to help. The food is amazing, as are the views. Each visit always has some form of paranormal activity to be experienced. I'll be back in August of this year and can't wait to see what else I get to learn and experience. Such a beautiful place.

Stayed for one night for a birthday celebration, as I have wanted to stay here for years. Absolutely beautiful building. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and everything worked. The shower grout could use an update but the room was otherwise clean. Dinner at the Cascades was delicious, with slower but pleasant service. The grounds were cool even in winter, we experienced quite a few deer.

The problem came at 6-7am, when we woke to the sound of hammering non-stop. The room below was under construction (238). It rattled our bed even. I tried and failed to sleep before giving up by 8. The front desk response was that they would let management know. And that they could hear it down there as well. Wow. That was it. It marred what would have been an excellent stay. Now we are exhausted for our 3 hour drive. If you stay, ask about construction, as this is a historic hotel and you will hear and feel every thud nearby.

Very fun and Spooky! The Hedge Maze is there but looks like it's still growing, it is small and easy to navigate. Tours can fill up quickly. Larger bathrooms are hiding downstairs by the tour desk. Coffee shop was good quick options, restaurant was very expensive and required reservation on OpenTable.
