It was a Sunday night, we made a reservation for 15 ppl. Not everyone came at the same time. It took 15 minutes to get drinks order out food order was taken a little over an hour after we sat down. Dishes were horrible, steak was bland and overly fatty and the lobster dish was weird, as they just put random items in the dish.

One of the best spa experiences I ve ever had. But what took the cake was my massage. Amanda was my masseuse and she was truly extraordinary. Can not recommend her enough, absolutely made my whole experience.

Need to revise my previous review- this place has gone downhill. They cater to the members over people paying $500+ per night to stay here and move your stuff at the pool when you leave for 20 minutes. Oscar, the pool manager, was rude and dismissive.

It is a motel with 5 star prices. Could be a 1 star, but they deserve respect for the concept and being able to charge ridiculous prices for a motel. Garden I great, fantastic pool and good food with very small portions and high prices.

Boyfriend booked a one night res. for us to enjoy the spa and hotel. The spa was a great first experience, very DYI so I suggest you bring your own scrubs and skin remidities- or you could buy them there. Spa was a bit out dated with tiles and walls peeling and chipping in every room, only thing I didn t like about this place.
The hotel though! Amazing atmosphere. Our room had such a cute vibe to it and the bed was so comfy. Outdoor tub and private linen patio included with our room.
Food and drinks were great, get the spa colada. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Ps saw a few famous edm dj s hanging out pool side!

I've fairly well traveled and would like to say that this is now one of, if not my favorite properties I've ever stayed at.

Located on its own small island between Downtown Miami and South Beach The Standard feels like it's own little oasis. The U shape of the hotel creates a cozy atmosphere which is filled with a beautifully manicured garden featuring hammocks, hanging chairs, private spaces and fire pits. Walking through this serene space is truly relaxing.

The pool exceeds expectations. Surrounded by ample seating, a waterfall hot tub, cold plunge pool and the beautiful bay/docks. It doesn't get much better than this in Miami. Pool side service/food & drinks are good. For me it's all in the details and the fact that there is music playing underwater in the pool pushed me over the edge. Just floating in the pool listening to underwater tunes. Genius.

Lido spa steam room, dry sauna, hammam and showers all included in the room costs.

We stayed in the suite with an outdoor bathtub. The room was well designed and made the best use of a small space. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nice and spacious. Outdoor courtyard was nice and we made good use of the bathtub .

Staff was very friendly and professional and the online valet system worked great.

My favourite parts of The Standard is the self-appointed title of it being an 'Adult Playground' and the fact that it's dog friendly! 18+ means no kids running around and screaming which creates a really great and relaxing vibe and allows you get loose and really enjoy the surroundings and other guests company.

Bang for buck one of the best I've seen. Will definitely be back.

A unique experience to say the least. The design of the hotel is different from anything you have probably ever stayed before. You feel like you walked into hippie commune complete with a mellow, yet often confused staff. The pool with underwater speakers and the waterfall hot tub are amazing and the cabana bar has spectacular sunset views. The rooms are little cozy but have everything you need including wall to wall mirrors in the bathroom for whatever reason.

Really disappointing service after the fact. Spent close to $500 in services. While being the only person in the locker room around 5pm, my robe was taken by an employee after asking me three times. I was startled and agreed to let them take it. Forgetting my Chanel necklace was in the robe. Called two hours later OFFERING to come back and look for it but was told it would be taken care of. Long story short OF COUSE they didn t find it and they are not responsible for lost items. I felt like they didn t try their best to find it and didn t allow me to actively look as well. Very disappointing. I was literally told by the Spa director today maybe you shouldn t wear such valuable items to a spa . I was at a lost for words. SMH.

Favorite of mine ! Everything is on point and awesome about the place and facilities.
One of the best massage therapists Keti. I am a 11 year massage therapist and she did a bomb massage on me ! I felt like a pretzel , and I floated out on a magical unicorn in the clouds. Lol . She has wonderful intuitive hands !

Thank you so much !

This is our second visit to The Standard Miami. We were in room 93, which is to the side of the building, no view.
The grounds and the pool at this property are beautiful. The rooms however need updating. They are lacking basic necessities for a hotel stay, like for example, somewhere to put your toiletries and makeup bag in the bathroom, Or enough plug sockets to charge phones and laptops. The wifi coverage was unusable. I understand that this is meant to be a place to relax, but unfortunately even on vacation I still have emails and work to do in the mornings.
The bed was too small for my husband and I to sleep comfortably, so I ended up on the couch. Which would have been ok but with the noise from the AC and the walls being paper thin I didn't get much sleep.
The bathroom has the tiniest toilet I have ever seen. Which wasn't a problem for me, but it was definitely a problem for my husband (he's over 6ft tall)
Moving onto the spa. Wow.. Serious renovation is needed. Tiles missing on the floor and walls in the showers and steam rooms, dirty windows.. Not exactly screaming luxury and relaxation to me.
I can't fault the staff however, they were all very friendly and welcoming. From the front desk staff to the severs around the pool, everyone was polite and helful.
Not sure we'll be staying here again in the future unless we get a great deal on the room rate and an upgraded room with a bigger bed!

Couldn't wait to return here! Simply one of the best hotels in Miami. The food, service and view are beyond expectations!! Their property really delivers a great experience all the way around!! Looking forward to returning soon for sure!!

I didn't stay here but simply had breakfast. Two things I enjoyed, breakfast and the view. I had avocado toast and it was very, very good. The wait staff was responsive and made sure everyone of our party of 6 was taken care of. Best of all was the quiet location and view. Absolutely worth checking out.

I am sorry to say that I had to leave the hotel almost immediately.

Perhaps I am being overly critical and it is the inner-coastal but the environment/air smelled foul.

The room itself was not up to standard of a high quality hotel... it was not clean and looked dated.

I switched to the Hyatt Regency and had a great time (and was impeccable)... I know it is not on the water but was much classier.

No parking. Unless you want to valet for $25 minimum and then your charged an extra $2 as a convenience fee.
Yes that s right, they charge you $2 for the convenience of them charging you $25 for valet.
Insane rip off.

Beautifully located on a small island with a great variety of indoor/outdoor lounge options. My favorite are the spacious cabana style seats surrounding the fire. They offer a rare (in this climate;-) opportunity to relax looking at the flames, yet not getting smoked like you would by a regular fire... The fitness/SPA area is quite big and nicely arranged with a separate yoga and meditation room and access to a rooftop terrace. Great experience.

Very nice staff, super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing.
We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our time there a lot.
A few things I would highlight for everyone to notice. Parking is not possible without paying 40usd per night. I don t think that is stated very clear when you book but maybe that s just me.
Also the hotel is quite popular for outsiders to visit as well so you can experience noise at night from the bar. There s complimentary earplugs in the room but they can t take all noise.
Overall a good place to stay with amazing food.

The view is breathtaking, but the service and the food has lots of room for improvement. It took the host about 10 minutes to figure out where to sit us when there were more than 14 tables available. The menu is very reduced, few dishes and little difference among them e.i the burgers. Although a classic, if the kitchen does not offer more than 5 dishes per section is far from being a safe choice for a diverse party.

Really cool hotel in a beautiful part of Miami. Lush gardeny vibe with different outdoor seating areas. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Amazing view at the restaurant, good ceviche too. My room was comfy and had a big bathtub on the porch!! Fresh juice bar for breakfast. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Miami!
