Love this place it has everything from bowling to bingo. All the restaurants are amazing it is one of my favorite places!!!

The South Point sits on the outskirts of Vegas, serving as the "point of no return" I'd you're leaving to California, or your first indicator that you have cracked the city limits if you're coming in from California. It is a nice place. The layout is simple, but the lack of directional signage can be confusing. I wish there was a bigger variety of restaurants.

I was glad to see that they are enforcing people to wear . Quiet in the casino. Slots are tight. Drinks were good

I put in one dollar at a penny slot game called CATZ and won 50$

I liked this placed. I always have. Fun gaming and atmosphere. Good restaurants and good prices. I would definitely recommend this place

A really good local casino. I nice departure from the strip. Got everything you need. Visit for a departure from strip life.

Nice accommodations, slightly odd odor in the casino. Staff not particularly friendly, except room maids are very pleasant. Just picked up car from valet parking and he'd left us a horrible, fresh fart in the car!

Equestrian venue was spectacular, room was not. Definitely not a clean room. I am THANKFUL I brought my own sheets from home. I had a feeling I needed to bring my own room slippers and bed covers. However, the equestrian arena and stables we're incredible and was a pleasure to have my horse at.

So much of the restaurants were closed the hotel its self was nice. I think they should do away with the Resort fee since your limited on what you can do

Great food deals here. Great entertainment, as well.

Great Hotel!!! My only complaint is wish the beds were more comfortable my bed was so hard

It was nice. We were there for an event so I can't speak about the rooms but the venue was good for a bmx event. They could have given directions as to how to access the arena from the stall area but overall it was good.

Lots to do there! Have all the things to do in one place.

Front desk staff was friendly. Rooms are very clean and big. Room service fast and friendly but make sure you verify how long the wait is. Bowling center is huge and has a snack bar with a variety of foods. Movie theater right next door. A lot of different options in this casino. Check it out.

It's not Bellagio or the Four Seasons, but has everything under the sun you can ask for.

We were staying next door to The South Point but spent lots of time there. South Point has everything and it's understandable that most people never leave the place. Great buffet at Garden Buffet restaurant. Good entertainment. Iconic building that you can see from everywhere. If you want to avoid The Strip hustle and bustle this is the place to be.

Nice casino. Felt like it's in the middle of the strip. The only issue was I couldn't get a cocktail server to come by.

I didn't stay the night but I ate at the buffe. The food was delicious. The service was good. It was affordable to eat there. I would recommend the buffet to my family and friends.

It's so easy accomodation ,plenty space for all the same for restaurants plenty to please your taste at 11 restaurants. .for all family entertainment movie theater bowling,arcade, pool .. Real need more TLC. Cleaning before opening. Just the pool...because the pool crew they where cleaning all tables in the pool area. About Restaurant promotions its so delicious midnight steak and eggs plus more... BUT Its Just for 21 and older. In our staying I saw so many big Families with children enjoying this midnight promotions. Summer family with plenty of kids , Came on its 4 July Family Ohana! They have coupons for use in restaurants .. mostly drinks .believe me,they do come handy. For some people. Rooms are spacious, clean. Nice experience.

Financial Literacy is the way to go...I love this business had our Village Convention here and Loved it. Spacious and practical everything under one Casino. There's movie theater, game room, pool, bowling...yes! Bowling! And didn't need to drive or Uber anywhere. This place had it all.

Beautiful room accommodations, with a coupon book supplied at check in including a ticket offering free admission to one of their shows in the showroom. Nice overall, only complaint is that like most casinos lol ... there's so much cigarette smoke that your eyes burn and its difficult to breathe. If you Already smoke than you're good.

Casinos will be Casinos , either you get lucky or you don't...Amazingly we did win ALL of our money back the last night. We went to the gift shop at for beer and chips (very reasonably priced) on the way we smelled popcorn and went and to the movie theater upstairs. After we came out we strolled over and went bowling on the same floor (64 lanes). Steak and Shake is downstairs along with Buffet, Seafood, Italian, Mexican and a Japanese restaurant.Obviously it has a pool too . It is off the main strip so local store and restaurant prices apply , not tourist prices. The South Point has a lot of room deals and special discounts .

I like this motel it's not on the strip and it's very nice and clean. Great restaurants and nice atmosphere

Great venue for a Summit I attended. Large open areas. The food was great. Made the 5 day summit even that much better. Recommend!!

Room was updated, staff was great and the bottomless Bloody Mary at breakfast was fun!

Okay this is our second time staying at South Point. We stayed in June 2014 and now in March 2018. The first time was our honeymoon and now we were here for the Nascar race. This visit was caught a bus right at the hotel to the race so that was nice. If your planning on going to the strip this hotel is quite far not in walking distance. Luckily we live close enough to drive but for many this would be very costly doing cabs and Ubers back and forth. The rooms are spacious but there are some issues. Many places the wallpaper is pealing including by the sprinkler right by the bed and in the bathroom it's is also pealing in the hallway. The shower and sink we're terrible at draining. A medium length shower and the tub was almost full. The toilet made a funny rumbling noise after being flushed. The room is clean and very large, ours came with a king bed and a couch.
I love the pool it is salt water. It was too cold to swim this time but loved it the first time since I'm sensitive to pool chemicals. There is free parking but you have to ride the elevator down and walk through the casino to get to the hotel tower. Hated that king walk in the smoke. Restaurant are okay. Decent buffet. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program to get a discount at the buffet. The Del Mar cafe made me sick so I don't suggest that. The burger place is okay.
All and all a decent place but we rather prefer to be closer to the strip.

Room are nice but you better be prepared for the hike to your room .
The South Point is a fine place ...However if you have a dislike for maneuer or the Rodeo this place may not be for you. They have a ring or Arena for the Rodeo which I happen to love.
There is a bit of the lingering aroma from the arena and horses ( or other live stock etc...)
But it is only by the back elevators that go to rooms ( casino level) that I noticed anyway...

It is lively and very much the casino scene with smoke everywhere ...But if you are into that .... you're good

Not a quiet luxury romantic hotel,
but very nice.

Best local casino. All the features and amenities you'd want. My favorite bingo Hall. Bingo games are every 2 hours from 11am to 1am, daily

This casino is about a 5 minute drive from the strip. South Point is the home of one of the largest equestrian centers with an arena and exhibition space. I'm from Denver, home of the National Western Stock Show and I'm perty impressed by this arena.
The casino has a full size movie theater and a Steak 'N Shake, both of which help make this a family friendly environment. Other dining selections are magnificently delicious - my favorite was the Big Sur Oyster Bar's Lobster Grilled Cheese.
The casino is very busy most days.

Love the hotel, great staff, wonderful options, movie theater, solid restaurants. But most importantly the best sportsbook on the planet. Love the ticket writers and drink waitresses. Will always come here to have fun.

I really like this hotel/casino. The atmosphere is nice. I've come here a few times for a bowling tournament and both the bowling alley and the bowling arena are fantastic. Everything is updated, and they have great slot and table games. I enjoy my trip here everytime.

Ate lunch at the Oyster Bar. Food was very well prepared and the service was great.

Hit the cafe after midnight for cheap breakfast until 6 am. No players card needed! Biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, and more.

Low-key local spot to watch a game. Usually cheap hot dogs beers during game time. Definitely an older crowd around here, but the venue did the job.

Great buffet fun slots always break even ! You get free wine with your buffet! Seafood, Steak, and my favorite dessert. Great times with George the food critic!

Came in for the National Open bowling tournament and had a great trip. Highly recommend the Colorado Cafe for meals if you're up between midnight and 6 AM. $3 to $5 a plate, but any drink is expensive (almost as much as the meal) so consider water. Friendly and efficient staff and reasonable room rates.

Buffet was very good. Casino was okay. Haven't stay there yet. Overall clean and welcoming.

I did not stay at this location we were there for an event several of the other families I was with, did stay at this location and the rooms were wonderful and their stay was wonderful also enjoyed this location. It was a great place would love to come back again and stay for another event, ferret about 20 of us add Steak and Shakes great place to eat wonderful staff

The rooms are nice to the point u can just fall asleep instantly, the food is good also, the stores are nice and the only thing that sucks is that the casino is on the first floor so when I walk in all you smell is cigarettes

I had a problem with something on my bed. not sure what it was. they gave me another room. but after 5 hours I'mstill waiting for someone to tell me if there was a problem. will not stay here again

Bingo! This is where it's at! Fun atmosphere, with 2 free drinks. People were friendly and helpful.

Went here with wife for the Diva convention. god help me. A bunch of typical woman products. Wife enjoyed it. But then the winners of the 2017 X Factor arrived and performed. Very talented, but some of them are very cocky. Two of them seem cool. Also were selling stun guns there. Very cool lol

Very spacious rooms. Shower and toilet are in separate room from sink so people can still get ready and brush their teeth while someone else is showering. Good prices and good coupon book. Only difficult part was how big the hotel is and how it can be quite a walk to get to your room.

Fun to stay here and staff was very helpful with everything.

This place is a little off the beaten path (not directly on the Strip), but that just means more value for the money. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the casino has all the games you want to play, and the pool area is fantastic. The hot tub is as much a beautiful landscaping feature as a it is a relaxing place to hang out. I will definitely stay here again.

Had a cancelled flight which caused us to stay in Vegas for the night. Southwest gave us passengers in distress coupon to get s hotel room. The hotel was very cheap. $60 for a room with 2 full beds. The room was nice and clean. The casino was very fun! We played blackjack tables. Dealer was nice and polite. Also went to the burger restaurant in the casino. Good food for very cheap. Great stay I recommend this place.

Good place to stay...very friendly staff. Newer remodeled rooms look nice but they're not all done...so we got an older room. Plenty of entertainment in the complex. Oh, room service and food quality are fantastic too.

One of my favorite local spots: restaurants, movie theater, equestrian center. The best Steak and shake in Vegas is here also.

Ok this is based solely on a one day stay. I got here late and the staff is great. I did not experience the full benefits of the casino but it seems good my room was nice and affordable

Such a variety of things to do! Theatre, bowling, swimming, various types of restaurants. There's a huge casino and so much more!!! The rooms are clean and spacious with pleasant attendants.

Great buffet especially for the price. Recommended. Ate my fill of crab. Finished dinner and gambled all nite. Go here for good food and good gambling.

We always have a good time at South Point Hotel. This time we went to go see a movie late at night, great seating good theater, no issues at all. Good atmosphere, it's away from the strip so it's not as crazy. Will be back again soon

Really liked the buffet. Decent price for what they serve.

I only stayed one night on the way to some hiking in Utah, but the bed was very comfortable, the room spacious, and I was not concerned about leaving stuff in my car overnight, as the parking lot was patrolled by security. Overall, it was a great place to stay for a weary traveller delayed by traffic on the way to Zion National Park!

Rooms were verry clean and really enjoyed the casino and the gift shop. Went to our Grandsons BMX sessions accommodations.

Weather for Veterans Day buffet there buffets really good the food's good there's a lot of casino games and the decor is nice

Never can get a good winning... Drinks r hard to get...some change makers r lazy and rude...I would recommend the M casino

Nice location, off the south side of the strip a ways. It's a little quieter out there, but it's huge, nice, and has everything you could want to do all under one roof.

A local favorite casino in South Las Vegas. Good place to bring the family for a movie or to go bowling. A good variety of restaurants to eat at too. Popular for the after midnight menu in the cafe.

Great Buffet no waiting to be seated plenty of space. Discount for seniors at the theater for matinee weekday showings.

Great place, clean rooms, here for Buckles and Barrels for Bailey, same as last 5 years.

This is my second visit here and I plan on making another visit. Plenty of things to do,had a great time.
