Generally very poor customer service. Have had disappointing experiences at most Shubert theater box office. Rude/indifferent workers who could care less about you or your experience. Eye rolls and an attitude like you are a huge inconvenience to them for buying tickets in person. Sucks for the production because they have no control over these ushers and box office employees.
Recently, I had to wait 15 minutes until the box office reopened because they said I could not buy a ticket around the matinee curtain time. I stood and wait patiently - as no one came to pick up a ticket or to buy the employees just stood doing nothing while I waited. IF it was listed ANYWHERE on a Shubert, Telecharge, or production website that the box office was closed during this time I would have planned accordingly and came earlier or later - but unfortunately they do not communicate this.
Everything goes wrong with The Shubert Organization. Worst decision I made was to go see The Play That Goes Wrong. I was excorted out of this unfunny play just for closing my eyes for a minute. The lady said she would be happy to invite another time and just went back yesterday and was treated like dirt. No customer service, no call back, and security guard Fredrickson offered to call the police. I want a full refund.
Worst organization that knows nothing about customer service. Everyone working there must be a second or third cousin because several phone representatives and one supervisor all were rude and cared less about me as a customer who never received purchased group tickets.
