Lovely place that serves Sunday food after 1500 hours. Food was very good and all three of us enjoyed the meals. Service was excellent and very friendly. Only downside was the lack of range in the drinks department.

Recommend a visit if you are in the area. We would return for sure.

A bit of a mixed bag. Comfortable rooms but the staff seemed to find our presence (just me and my wife) in the bar at 22:30 rather irritating. Clearly needed to be elsewhere as hinted at by loud cashing up process and general put-out attitude. Didn't want another drink anyway. So, fine if you want to eat/relax elsewhere but don't expect to be late!

I stayed one night to attend a wedding. I called in before the wedding to drop my bag, planning to get a cab to the wedding. No cabs to be had! The relief manager, Alain, who had only been there two days, immediately offered for his brother Jonathan to drive me to where I was going. Outstanding customer service! I had a really cute comfortable room, and the breakfast the next day was superb. I only wish I'd had the chance to eat an evening meal there, the menu was very tempting. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely place staffed by helpful, friendly people. The on site restaurant serves good dinners and the breakfast was great. We felt we got a very good value for our money and enjoyed the stay. One warning, the shower in our room was so small you could not pick up the soap if you dropped it without opening the shower door. Our first floor room overlooked the courtyard off the pub on the ground floor so it was a bit loud, but not a problem. The room had a chest of drawers made of leather - very unusual and a little strange, yet interesting.

Great food here - the chef went out of their way to make us a vegan meal from scratch! (There were "veganizable" items but they made something entirely new for us.) The staff was helpful. The room we had was nice but facing the evening sun and got really hot. We couldn't open the window since the outdoor fire sent smoke streaming in and there was no AC. Eventually it cooled down. Although this place is technically in Chipping Campden, it's not near the town at all - it's a 10 minute drive outside of twoen with no amenities nearby. (Which may be a plus to some.)

Gorgeous place, nice little touches like fresh milk left outside your bedroom every morning and proper coffee in room. Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The food is gorgeous and uses local produce where possible. Last but definitely not least they have a fantastic selection of gins to try! Highly recommend to anyone.

Dog-friendly accommodation in the main property as well as cottages, and dog-friendly dining in the intimate bar.
Delicious food throughout a 3-night stay and would recommend booking well in advance for large groups

Went in on a Saturday afternoon at quarter past 12 for lunch. We were greeted by nobody and had to seek out a woman who worked in the hotel who then found the chef, who did not seem to appreciate the inconvenience of actually having customers to seat. The woman sat us down, however when we asked her for a drink she refused to serve us and told us to wait 2 minutes. 10 minutes later we still not even seen her, which was when we made the decision to leave. Quite unfair of the place to leave somebody in charge who was clearly not comfortable in that role, with only a reluctant chef to help her. Effectively a place that claims to serve food and drink but does not seem to have any staff willing to do so. If you are looking for a meal in the area I would recommend you look elsewhere as there are a multitude of very good options relatively close by, who actually want to serve their customers.

Room was lovely, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Unfortunately the menu for dinner was nothing like the one on the website, very limited. Dining room was cold and empty (not good for a Friday night). Food ok but just pub food. Staff ok on the night but no-one there in the morning to open up, luckily the chef turned up and cooked us a decent breakfast. No one in charge - cannot in all honesty recommend.
