Enjoyed our king suite thoroughly. Loved our location. Super clean grounds and very friendly staff. The main pool area needs more lounge chairs and rooms are ready for an update otherwise perfect resort for our get away!!

Has an nice bar and lots of tables with lots of televisions for easy watching of sports, news, and other things. Food is very good, service is even better. The great place to have meetings and dinner or lunch or breakfast because they have a separate breakfast area there also. There's a nice gift shop and based on the people that are staying at that place and I talked to them, they think the place is great! After night time there is and outside fire place and tables around that too so you can enjoy your evening outside if you want.
My wife and I stayed during the Christmas holiday and thuroghly enjoyed the room and the lounge and outdoor fireplaces plus the great bartender!

My stay here was very nice. The rooms are nicely updated, the staff was pleasant and my experience at the event I was attending was top notch. All food was fresh, the catered food offered lots of healthy and fresh ingredients, and the service was excellent.

We stay every summer. The Stay-cation rates are the best I've seen. With the $100 credit/day we were able to eat our meals there. The food was delicious and the new pizza oven from Italy makes great pizzas!
We have stayed at this resort a few times. Mostly for events so the hotel is taken over. We really love the staff at this location. The rooms are ok, but for the prices and location it is still a great place to stay. It may need some updating but it does almost add to your experience with everything being a tad older. It's not like its dirty or broken. I appreciate the decor personally. 5 stars!
Just wrapped up a conference here for 275 people from across the country. EVERYONE LOVED THIS PLACE! I was so pleased to work with the staff, especially Annie, Alexa, and Kristen. They made everything run smoothly. They were so accommodating. Every request was met with a yes. The grounds are beautiful. The staff universally friendly and helpful. The food for our three banquet lunches was prepared to account for differing dietary needs and was delicious. I had seconds each day. We had three banquet lunches- Asian, Mexican, and Italian. Many people comment to me about the great food. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. The housekeeping was thorough. Even with our large group we had plenty of space because the propriety is well designed. The grounds are lovely with extensive native plantings. If I had 270 happy attendees I m sure your vacation or event will be equally enjoyable.
I've been sitting in their lobby for almost four hours waiting on a room. They said no one is checking out. Yet I've watched others get rooms as soon as they arrive. Not sure why such a long wait and empty assurances that they are working as quickly as possible.

I cannot put into words just how amazing my stay was here~ Efren, Jodi, Brian, Nathan, Joe and ALL the other staff we came into contact with were SO kind, friendly and accomodating! From the check in, shuttle guys, conceirge , housekeepers...WOW!! GREAT JOB Scottsdale Plaza for hiring some phenomenal people! The rooms were so large and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. When we needed extra pillows and blankets, it was no problem and they came so quickly. I will absolutely come back here! You will NOT be disappointed!
My family and I spent a week here. It was great! The whole resort was very clean and well kept. The rooms were updated and well maintained. The pools were awesome! Service was great! I will definitely look to stay here again on my next trip to the Scottsdale area.
The resort is spread out over a large area, so try avoiding getting a room in the remote parts. The landscaping is really nice, with many local plants. Free WiFi and several pools.
Left my expensive sandals there. When I called back 4 hours later they had "disappeared ". Staff was evasive, condescending and didn't return calls when they said they would. This resort is a security concern with front desk staff that condone theft.
Really quiet in August, which is great. Very kind, helpful staff, who go out of their way for guests. Loving staying here with lots of sun and beautiful swimming pools. Good buffet breakfast, good food in the bar, free popcorn to munch in the afternoon. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good Wi-Fi. What more do you need?
Our daughter had her wedding rehearsal dinner here and the entire bridal party and family stayed at the resort. It was an amazing time. Staff is exceptional, friendly and attentive. The rooms were fantastic! They made this special time even more special. Highly recommend!!
The rooms were beautiful as were the grounds. The restaurant was "meh". Would definitely come back however for the area alone.

Was gassed out of the tent area with a bunch of other volunteers due to a propane leak in their heaters. Vomited and had a headache, everywhere smelled of propane. Hotel staff treated the situation like it was no big deal. Dont come here. This hotel was trying to kill us.
Literally just had the worst weekend of my life here. I have been coming here for awhile with family and rented a villa suite for two nights. The service was horrible room never got cleaned was yelled at the pool by Some protesters. The front desk was rude to me I have never had an exp like this before at this hotel ever. Shame.

The room was great. The drinks are incredibly expensive and not very good.
This was easy. We got lucky with our room location. Rooms are clean, pool is clean. We never went into the lobby area - it was on the other side of the resort. Parking was easy. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, freeways. We tried breakfast at the resort once. It was good, but could find better else where for less. But that didn't hinder the 5 star we give the Plaza! My kids said it is one of the top 3 things they will miss about their trip.

This hotel is located convienently close to Scottsdale nightlife. Our room was impeccably clean. This resort has five pools, all over the property. We ordered breakfast to our room and the food quality was superb. The bedding was ultra comfy and the amenities are up scale including his and her bathrobes. Would definitely stay again!!

More like a motel than a resort. Small, boring rooms. The only window being onto the walkway means you either shut yourself into a cave or be in a fish bowl as people walk by and look in.
Not the best hotel and not the worst hotel either. The rooms are spread out. Like an apartment or something.
They say they have 5 pools and 5 hot tubs but we only went to the main pool. That s were they have drinks served and etc.
The hot tub is pretty big.
The room shower is nice.
There s a patio also.
There s a microwave and fridge in the room. 2 TVs in the room.
Just returned from 4 days/3 nights of wonderful-February in Scottsdale. The Scottsdale Plaza Resort was perfect! Excellent staff, beautiful facilities, good food, and choices of pools and atmosphere from public to secluded. We will be back!

They need to enforce the rules. Kids in the spa and towels on all chairs with no users in sight. The rooms are nice but small for the cost.
Amazing, Amazing, Beautiful & Tranquil resort. I booked a girls trip there 6/21-6/24, & it was indeed the best experience ever for each of us. The staff was remarkable. I have to give an additional shout out & special, special thanks to each & every shuttle driver, never have I ever received such exceptional service. They went above and beyond by mentioning restaurants and even giving us a look at Camelback mountain. Many Many thx. I will be referring this resort and visiting in the future.

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Our King Suite had a slightly musky smell, almost as if it had been converted from a smoking to non-smoking room. Also a lot of potential for windows and natural light, but very little of it in the room.
Fell in love with the resort. The resort is beautiful. Did day pass and the pool was so beautiful. Very relaxing and the server we had very nice. Oh and the baha fish tacos and chips and guacamole so delish. Loved my day with my sister. Definitely will be coming back.
This is a really awesome venue. I'm here for a three day convention with many of my friends. Love the facilities and the spacious rooms.

This hotel is great. They let all the locals in the pool area. So if you want to stay at a cheaper hotel, you can still use this pool. They dont check.

This resort is huge. Almost feels like an apartment complex across dozens upon dozens of apartment buildings. Its a nice place with very nice rennovations for the bathroom. I think the buildings themselves were built a while back but they did a great job with rennovations. Tennis, putting green, pools are all part of the resort however I did not have time to use them. I'd stay here again if given the chance.

Friendly, beautiful, and amazing rooms! I have stayed here a couple of times. The regular rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have an amazing bathroom great for unwinding after a full day. I've also stayed in one of their suites and it felt like having a home away from home! The pool area and tennis courts are also wonderful especially followed by some time by the fire pits at the outside bar to relax. The proximity to a variety of restaurants and the mall along with other nearby places to visit also makes it a place I enjoy choosing over and over again. Look forward to staying again!

The rooms were big, but the carpets could have been cleaner. There is not much outside light/Sun light in the room either. Not many places to eat within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance.
Overall a nice hotel but I think it wasn't quite what I expected. I was under the impression it was more of an upscale resort but it had more of a higher family resort sort of feeling. Granted there was practically an entire soccer tournament staying at the hotel so this probably colored my opinion. Check in was a little frustrating. We travel often & the last 3 times I called hotels about a late check-in they assured me it wasn't necessary. I should not have used that as my standard. We drove all night & end up checking in very early morning. We were informed there is some sort of system update from about 2 or 3 am to 5 or 6am & we could not be checked in until it was done but "luckily" they saved our room. I tried to be polite because it was true I didn't call but it must have been obvious I was upset. We hsd to wait about 30 to check in. They did comp us breakfast for 1 day. FYI skip that (the regular breakfast buffet) quality & variety of food is not very good plus you will miss some really great local places that. aren't far. Hotel lobby & conference rooms were really nice but the business center is bare bones. Internet access is very limited so not good for doing much more than printing boarding passes. Our room was very nice 2 room villa. The hotel is updated clean & in good condition just not new. Gym was good it has 2 rooms 1 with weights & 1 with treadmills/eliptical machines. We also tried the spa. I happened to walk by & catch a February special posted outside. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't gone out of my way to stop by so try that if you're interested in a treatment. Massages were good but there's a maintenance room or something close so the couples room not totally quiet. But the staff was very nice & professional. Again this us a nice hotel just not what expected.

Excellent value! 2 story 900sqft room for $190 a night. Plenty of parking, immaculate grounds with lush grass everywhere. Super friendly staff, great food, amazing drinks, kids menu. But the pool area...please please get rid of 80% of the tables and chairs. They do not increase food sales. Far less people at the pool because of lack of deck chairs = decrease in sales.
I have no complaints and will come back again and again.
