I just love the Getty! Been here several times with family and out of town guests. I take clients here, too. Everyone is always so impressed with the beautiful art. There is so much to see that it's difficult to take it all in with just one visit.

This is the best museum I have ever been to. Not only is it FREE, but the journey to the top of the hill (where the actual museum is) felt like a trolly ride into a magical world. Great destination for half-a-day of entertainment.

Who doesn't love the Getty? I go once a year and spend about five to six hours there. I always see something new and the garden just keeps getting better and better. I think everyone should visit the Getty.

Beautifully maintained buildings and grounds. Spectacular installations, architecture, and, of course, views. The illuminated manuscript installation was amazing! Thank you to Elizabeth Morrison, senior curator and department head of manuscripts.

The museum is incredible, the staff is very professional and friendly. I'll be going again, many times. One day is not enough to see everything. The art collection is quite spectacular.

The garden is cool but the art is kinda boring it's just realistic stuff or old black and white photos
I swear modern art more interesting

I attended with 7 students, and the Getty was great about accommodating our bus and making our trip easy and fun. The exhibitions are always great. I just wish that travertine wasnt so blinding in the sunlight!

It was our first time to visit the Getty. It was a little long on morose looking renaissance, Flemish painters and short on impressionists. The scenery and architecture were magnificent, the stale sandwich a little overpriced, but a good time was had by all.

I had a friend from outta state who s never been to Getty before. Since were both into architecture and art and she was wanting to learn how to shoot 35mm film, I figured what better place than the Getty to get the best of all of that.
We spent the gloomy day roaming around the different exhibitions, reading and studying the different mediums of art. And for the brief moment of sunshine we did get that day, we headed out to the gardens for her to practice shooting on 35mm.
We bought snacks and ate them near the fountain in the main courtyard, just enjoying the space and observing the people walking by.
We stayed till after sunset and the place continued to become more beautiful, the lighting on the buildings was incredible and the way the rain caused all the surface reflect the city lights was just gorgeous.

The Getty museum is an incredible free resource for Los Angeles. It's European art collection is one of the best in the world. My favorite was the photographic art collection. The complex itself is beautifully designed and set in the Los Angeles hills with breathe taking views of the City. The buildings and the grounds are emaculately kept. The only cost is for parking which itself is a reasonable fee.

What is peace of mind? Well come to the Getty museum for a weekend and you'll truly find out. With over 1,000 paintings with all sorts of varieties, you will truly be astonished by the Getty's inventory. The Garden is outstanding and is kept in great shape. Parking is a bit slow on weekends

The sights alone are worth the detour, absolutely magnificent location with a view on LA that can't be beat. With free entrance, why not go, you will not regret it. I can't think of a better setting to see beautiful art!

An amazing collection of art at the Getty Center and stellar views of LA from the grounds.

Admission is free. Parking is $20. But well worth the price. A tram takes you from the parking lot to the center. With multiple building and exhibits, one can easily spend a whole day here. We saw people with picnic lunches on the grass near the gardens.

Stunning exhibits in a beautiful set of buildings. Theresa and I spent an afternoon here, and saw many, but not all, of the galleries. The highlighs for me were the Monet and Rembrandts. This should be on everyone's"must see" list for a trip to LA.
