For someone around or over 30, all the arcade games are a great flashback to simpler times. The Tetris shaped tatter tots are amazing. They also have a great draft beer list. Not the usual Bud Lights and Stella's. And with a rotating tap list, we keep coming around. It doesn't hurt that we live one block away.

Great spot for drinks! Loved the old school video games. The only downside was all the seats were reserved so there was no where to sit to eat. I would advise reserving a spot ahead of time if you plan on eating there.

Pro's friendly security guard and games are great for the price.
Cons..bartender was rude the service was horrible and i felt like their was some kind of discrimination towards me. Im an american but i guess my pigment wasn't light enough to recieve good customer service. Will not recommend any one to come to this location next time i will go to brooklyn.

I went there with a group of friends and was trying to get a bartender attention unfortunately i wasn t able to get his name but he was bald and miserable, he says to me if you want my attention you have to tip me, all the people on the other side of the bar is tipping. This is how I work. I was stunned by how unprofessional this was because this was the first drink I was buying. That alone ruined my experience for this location so be cautious of coming across this man.

Honestly not my favorite... went here looking for a good time but it s just way WAY too loud! Not sure why but the music they were playing was super loud, which in turn makes the people there have to literally SHOUT to someone who is only sitting next to them.

I do see why people would like it here though - it has a ton of different arcade games - which is probably very nostalgic for some. Also it s just fun! I don t like how many single player games there are though - it d be more fun if they also had games where two or more people could play together so you don t end up just watching 1 person play at a time..

The happy hour drinks are limited as it only includes beer - no cocktail drinks sadly :/

What's that you say? You want to play nostalgic arcade games and have a drink without being surrounded by 10 year olds? Enter Barcade.

There's a big bathroom and the staff is really nice. I left my phone on one of the game machines by accident, and one of the security guys found me and gave it back. That was sooo nice!!

It's seriously awesome. There's games that I love and drinks to chug, or you know, not chug. Either way, it's a great time.

Great games which are all well taken care of! The place has a nice square set -up, so ppl traffic can easily move around. They have a full bar and even have some food options! I really liked the place.

This is similar to to one in Chicago but the that one has majority of games free and it's much bigger. It's just another bar and although the food is good there is no real wait staff. It's just okay.

Drinks and arcade games (half of them are for 2 or more players), what else can you ask for? "tokens" are needed to play, which are just quarters (they also have machines that change bills for quarters). Going with friends/date is advised, but you can go alone as well and still have a good time (I know, I've done the later)

Tons of fun! Many classic games that will have you traveling down memory lane with your friends. Great mix of drinks and food options all at a price that won't break the bank. Highly recommend!

Barcade is a blast, and is priced in accordance with the area it is in. Of course, alcohol is probably going to deplete your ability to play video games (and the more difficult retro ones at that), but that's not something you particularly care about four beers in.

I had a mixed experience on the night I was here. The door man was nice, the bar people were not as nice tho. My friend got charged 2x for his beer and when he talked to the waiters they didn't refund him, not quite sure what they said.
Enjoyed the playing arcades with friends, there were some machines that just ate my coins tho. But you can tell the bar and they'll give u coins.

Spent half the day in this bar on our visit to NY. One of the 1st bars we went in on our craft beer tour. The range & quality of beers was excellent & the burger I had appeared to have a whole cow between 2 bits of bread. Excellent venue well worth a visit.

There's an okay section of games, but nothing good with a light gun (time cop, house of the dead, area 51) which is disappointing. Good beer selection though, and the tater tots are amazing. I would highly suggest getting food here.

Great place to hang out if you're interested in classic arcade games, as there's a great selection of old school faves. I was able to find Michael Jackson Moonwalker (an old personal favorite) at one location. And the food /beverage menu is cool for localized original brews and unique sandwiches. Fun spot to go with friends or for dating if video games peaks your Interest.

Great selection of craft beer, great bar food, and plenty of 80s and 90s arcade games for entertainment. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Located around the Flatiron/Chelsea area, about a half mile south of Penn Station & Madison Square Garden, it should be easily accessible for most NYers.

This too me back to my child hood. All the Pac-Man I could of asked for. It was my friends going away party and this was a great venue of choice. Great drinks, games, and atmosphere. Highly recommended to go.

This was our first time at this location. The staff was chill but friendly. Not exactly social but attentive for sure. They also were continusouly cleaning which was great. We were able to find seating even when it was crowded with another event going on. The food was excellent (truffle mac and cheese + chicken and waffle grilled cheese). And there a lot of games to choose from...

The staff here are AMAZING! Truly wonderful people. The bar has good food, the beer selection is always changing and staying new, plus they have vintage games to play! This spot is fun for locals or tourists, good for a small group of people.

Their margarita is phenomenal and so is the food (get the tator tots and fish tacos, you won't regret it). 4 chips for a dollar to play games and they have all the good stuff. Love going there!

Love coming to the barcade! The first time I went to the downtown one and both have their pros. This one is a lot more spacious with group and driving games that we all loved! It s a great way to pass a night! Once we brought outside food and the bouncer was super friendly about telling us to put it away, always a great experience! It does get crowded and rowdy when people are passionate about the games but never in a bad way. I d recommend their fries, we always order them!
