The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown Review

Great location in Georgetown, spacious rooms, cozy atmosphere, and even better service! I had a surprise I wanted to organize at the hotel and Lauren, Sue, and the Meetings & Special Events team couldn t have been more accommodating. They not only helped me execute my surprise, but proactively came up with ideas and surprises of their own to make it unforgettable. I m writing a bit of a delayed review from last winter. When you walked into the lobby in the winter the wood fire was roaring, the music was humming, and the seats were ripe for sitting, unwinding and having a couple drinks.

Excellent customer service and very attentive room service. Property felt clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated. The bikes available for lending are a nice touch. Great experience.

Horrible. Don t know where to start. Late check in - room not ready. The concerige/ manager Nicole led me to trail with all cars. Told her I needed something smooth without any traffic etc because I was rollerblading. She printed it directions to a trail that led straight to the highway. Then waited at NatGeo museum for Cedric to make a ticket reservation - waited a half an hour - no ticket. Spoke with Theo on the phone who was not helpful and extremely impolite ... what a horrible experience one of the worst hotels / ritz Carlton s I ve ever stayed in - and I m a huge fan of the ritz !!! This experience was such a let down

I loved this hotel, the staff was extremely polite. Normally coming to very upscale hotels I have had stuck up staff, but here everyone was nice and very accommodating to me. Walking up South street, I didn't expect the hotel to be here. It's tucked away from the rest of the dc world. It's a perfect location and close to great restaurants, embassies and transportation. Walking inside the hotel there were great holiday decorations. The main area of the hotel reminded me of a living room, it was warm and cozy. The chairs in this room were comfortable and the lighting left the place a very calm and romantic feeling. You are able to have your coat checked and make sure to keep your ticket number. The facility is spotless and you can tell they pay attention to detail.

The property, staff, ambience and location are exceptional. One of the nicest weekends of 2019 for me. Get on the hotel bike to go see the sites!

Wanted to do a staycation with my wife to get away from the kids for a couple days. Ordered a massage to the room and enjoyed our stay.

Service is top notch,the hotel itself is very interesting in that the building was originally a factory.

Great place and the staff are outstanding at the front desk.
