Been here for the past 4 holiday seasons. Great staff and impeccable service.
Attended a madri gras themed social event at Ritz-Carlton, it was a very beautiful place, I didn't interact with the staff to much but it seemed as though the staff was available for help if needed. I would definitely attend other events there in the future.
I only attended the spa, but the experience was wonderful. The staff was attentive and the services were excellent.
Dean (rep at Ritz) was the best. Very professional.
Had drinks in the Living Room. Ivan was a hero, kept the nuts and the drinks coming.
All round it was a very pleasant atmosphere and it never felt pretentious or unwelcoming. We ll definitely be back.
Great meeting place and good food and drinks at happy hour pricing
The service was fantastic, and the hotel itself was very clean and luxurious.
Absolutely love this hotel. Awesome location to walk on M street. Tucked away and really understated in a great way. Warm and inviting, but updated and modern. I used to stay at JW on Penn but this hotel is my new go-to. The real differentiator (the reason I m staying here despite spending most of my time in Tyson s on b-trips) is the service. If a manager reads this, I hope you can look up who the valet working Wed the 22nd around 5PM is. So friendly and helpful. Also, whoever checked me was 5 star quality. And very genuine.
I stay in a hotel around 100 nights a year, and you can just tell when a hotel is well run. Cleanliness, staff, vibe, etc. and this hotel tops my list. Will definitely be back for my quarterly DC trio.
Hotel is in a quiet street, service is fantastic, pet friendly and the restaurant is pretty decent
Nice relaxing Lobby to get something to eat drinks or just relax
Nice place in the heart of Georgetown. Great outside space to relax. Also, the a two robe situation... With very nice robes.
"Everyone" has been very helpful with directions and accommodations! The best location for touring DC.
Definitely a great place to stay. Staff is very hospitable. Decor is amazing. Spa is very affordable as well.
Great hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Walking distance to some amazing eats
My friends and I went to The Yard. It has a nice garden vibe. We were there for happy hour . . . A sign on the wall advertised half off drinks. We ordered a round at the bar and waited a long time for drinks. There is very little seating. Even though rain was threatening so it wasn't crowded, one of our party had to sit on a wall. We finished our first round and no waiters came by for about 30 minutes. This trend continued. Then, at the end of the evening, when we got the check, it showed full prices on everything. Apparently, the menu we'd ordered off of already had the "half" prices--though what we ordered wasn't on any other menu--but this wasn't made clear at all, so everything was twice what we were expecting. I would not have chosen the drinks I had if I'd known. Anyway, a very nice waitress apologized and said she knew it was a problem and took a bit off our bill. For what I would expect from the Ritz, it was quite an overpriced, disappointing experience.
I love staying with the Ritz Carlton, and this location in Georgetown is one of my absolutely favorites. The accommodations are flawless, and the employees are beyond gracious and kind. Such a luxurious experience!
Beautiful hotel in the Heart of Georgetown. Great Staff!
Hotel has beautiful ambiance and decor inside but lacked the prestige exterior appeal of a standard Ritz Carlton.
Held a leadership conference there. As usual the staff was awesome and so was the food.
I had an honor to document wedding in a really beautiful and special place: The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown. I am really surprised about how unique and cozy this place is. I was able to make a lot of beautiful pictures so believe me it is great place for photo shoot. This place is just perfect for wedding celebration.
The Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown is located right off bustling M Street. The main entrance and lobby building is done up in a chic, modern, rustic/industrial design and decor. It feels great to relax and enjoy a drink during happy hour here on a cool, gray, gloomy day. Past the lobby, you'll find the restaurant for the hotel. There is an outdoor garden patio for those nice weather happy hour days. Upstairs, you'll find a large event space with large windows. Downstairs, you'll find some small meeting rooms. Staff members were very friendly and attentive. During happy hour in the lobby, you'll find a trendy crowd and good food and drink specials.
Everyone was very nice. The property was very well kept and clean. Beautiful decor, lots of space, great atmosphere.
This is an outstanding property with the world s nicest staff. From the rooms to the beds-amazing- to the evening in the gorgeous lounge complete with roaring fireplace and a candy bar (!) Nothing you could want that Diego, TaylorAnne, Axel and the list goes on of staff that treat you like their most favorite relative.
Breakfast is outstanding. Well worth going a little outside the normal DC hotels to stay here in beautiful, walkable Georgetown. And- it s dog-friendly!! It s perfect. Simply perfect.
Routine interactions convey a standard of generous service.
Lovely staff and fitness facilities. Modern room and spacious bathroom.
Went for a graduation dinner and had excellent service.
Love this place! Nice boutique spa and friendly staff.
Attended wedding here. Beautiful hotel, love the fireplace in the lounge. Space was excellent for 100-guest wedding
50 minute stress relief massage with Arlene was just what this mother of two needed. It hurt so good and my back pain is gone for the time being. Thank you again. Don t skip the spa!
Good to stay to relax. There is geogetown waterfront park which is fantastic for joggers.
On a staycation over the NYE holiday I had the pleasure of staying at this property. I love the historic aspect of the hotel, the discrete signage, the overall theme and layout of the hotel, and the people who work here. Employees really make or brake an experience at a hotel and I can honestly say that I don't know if I've ever experienced this level of service before. ALL of the employees acknowledged me by name (Miss last name), asked how my excursion was, offered to help however I should need, etc. I loved my stay so much I'm searching for another reason to come back sooner!!!
If you can afford to stay here. Go for it. Its just a great place and location.
Cmon. It's the Ritz. We had drinks in the lobby and it was the highlight of a Georgetown evening.
This review is for the spa: recently renovated to make it more spacious. Services are top notch while being a bit pricey. Always go to get a massage, and the therapists are amazing. I always come out feeling like I'm floating on a cloud.
This is an amazing boutique hotel, with great amenities! Diego was absolutely lovely, he really took care of us and made us feel valued! Great location and cocktails at happy hour! Do not miss the Peruvian Hemingway! Thanks again Diego and staff for an amazing stay. Will definitely be back!
While the hotel is mostly empty the staff continues to provide epic hospitality with grace and sincerity. DC is unbelievably quiet and hotels are closing. But here at the super boutique Georgetown Ritz they re striving to make it feel like home away from home. It s greatly appreciated!
A unique property. Sit in the lobby and eat and drink
The sitting area where we enjoyed drinks and a few appetizers was excellent
Well well well, aren't we fancy? Having breakfast at the Ritz. For all the pomp and circumstance, service was just ok and the food was even ok-er. S'mores French Toast, while yummy sounding, could have been a tad more chocholatey and s'mores-ish. But, fun to 'gram and check in and all that, so it gets points in that category.
Everything was as well prepared and clean as expected.
Home away from home. Comfortable, convenient, wonderful staff.
Much better customer service than the ritz in pentagon city.
The smores in the lobby by the fire make a cute date night.
Came here for tea a few times, lovely ambiance.
Great room, but the nickle-and-dime you. Internet is rather slow, so its hard to work through a VPN (1mps). They charge you for 'high speed' internet which is up to 3x as fast they claim, or 'enhanced high speed'. Room service and hotel resaurant/bar are on the expensive side even for a 5* hotel. Considering the price of the room (which itself is really nice!) nothing comes free. No free printing or snacks. The feather bedspread seems nice, but its really spiky, and can be uncomfortable if you move the wrong way. The service staff were extremely polite and helpful though.
Best experience I have had in a long time!! I will definitely be staying here again.
My wife and I attended the Ritz for a wedding and it was a beautiful venue. We did not stay at the hotel, but the facilities for the ceremony and reception was exceptional and the food was great. Only negative is just standard DC parking and driving issues - narrow, car-filled streets, traffic and difficult signage when Google Maps can't keep up with ask if the twists and turns in the roadways.
Honestly, for $700 USD per night this is not even close to being worth what you pay. I've stayed at better $200 per night hotels. No pool, nothing special with the rooms, service was average (I could go in to detail if needed). I definitely wouldn't stay here again for this price.
The spa was amazing and everyone there was very pleasant and professional. They really cater to your every need
Predictably top notch. Literally welcome home...and it feals that way in every aspect. On this visit ,not only did we have business to conduct but also an overdue introduction to the family. We had made prior arrangements to facilitate both meetings, however upon inspection of our accommodations, decided to our delight that both cloth be accommodated in our residence. Not only did it set the perfect atmosphere for the business at hand to be conducted in a warm professional environment but maintained the warmth for a personal family setting. Absolutely outstanding staff ,cleanliness...not even a second thought. As for the conduct candor and professionalism of the staff I need say nothing at all other than outstanding. Thank you.
Great hotel. Not as big as what you'd expect from a Ritz-Carlton, but I think that's more to do with the location. Great staff, all very helpful and friendly. Every recommendation I received was exactly what I was looking for.
Very nice. Plenty of staff to assist you. Beds were extremely comfortable. Ros were quite.
I stayed here one night on a business trip and it was great. I got in about 7pm and the concierge already checked us in, gave us each individual room keys with our names on it. I felt immediately welcomed. Very comfortable hotel.
Shout outs to Carlos the doorman, he was there when we checked in and when we checked out.
Pleasant stay, will definitely come back. Thanks Mario for your help!
$$$ hotel
but nice
This hotel is in a very interesting building and they did a great job of extending that theme to the decor. The staff are very nice and did an exceptional job.
Great location and nice bar. Staff was super friendly. Room was great too
Stayed here a few days for Spring Break. They gave us a suite upgrade just because which was nice. I love Georgetown and the neighborhood.
Amazing hotel, we went for a film shoot and they were more than accommodating.
The whole event was lovely. The staff is kind and accommodating, the facility was beautiful and the food delicious.
Very nice hotel with great amenities and in a great location.
First class hotel, with the usual wonderful Ritz service. Great location too for doing all things Georgetown... brunch at Clydes, dinner at Cafe Milano. And I ll note that their Covid protocols are the best of any hotel we have stayed at during the pandemic. Well done!
Walking by discovered there was a Ritz in Gtown. Went in the bar was amazing. Very classy and upscale.
One of my favorite Ritz Carlton properties. Small hotel which makes it feel like home while on travel.
The lobby smells of rich mahogany and smoked delight. Keep the fireplace lit.
Degrees is tucked inconspicuously at the back of the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown. In fact it is apparently so inconspicuous that the staff opened the restaurant 20 minutes late, only realizing their error when we said we had arrived for our 5:30 reservation. Needless to say, the place was completely empty... Not a very good sign for a Friday night! We asked about happy hour specials, but there were none. We asked for a drink menu, only to discover that a glass of wine started at $14. We decided to leave, grabbed excellent happy hour specials down the block at the bustling El Centro D.F.
I usually don t wrote reviews but I had to write about the exquisite service that I received at The Yard , the outdoor restaurant at the Ritz Carollton. We were a big group of 11 and came a few minutes after brunch hours. The servers made a special request to the chef to allow us to order off of the brunch menu and provided excellent service despite our many request. The outdoor ambience is beautiful and the food is delicious!! 10 stars!
Absolutely fantastic experience! The hotel is just a few minutes walk into M street and the rest of Georgetown or to the waterfront behind the hotel. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and truly makes you feel that you are in a historic area.
Great hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Friendly staff and welcoming ambiance.
I was only here for a night for campus recruiting activities nearby. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building that I regret not being able to spend more time exploring. Service was excellent, the rooms were spacious and the sheets were extremely comfortable. The bathrobes were excellent as well, thick and lined with terrycloth.
Great experience, amazing hospitality from the moment they welcome you from your car. The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown is unlike most Ritz Carlton's with an original theme centered around the historic buildings roots, with a modern touch. Highly recommend to all.
Love it, very friendly staff. Beautiful place and clean rooms, in the middle of it all. Loved the decor and the design . Nicole is great, very professional and always smiling. Dave the house car driver waited for me at the airport until I realized that I forgot my cell phone in his car, he parked and ran in handed me the phone just to make sure I don't miss my flight. I will for sure stay here again.
As would be expected from a Ritz-Carlton, this is a delighful place to stay. Well located South of M Street, and the canal, overlooking the Potomac River in Georgetown.
Rooms are a bit of a hike from the main lobby area, but are well worth it. Service is extrodianary. Food was good as well.
I can't tell you how much we appreciated this place on a hot day yesterday.
My wife, my father-in-law and I were looking for a quiet place to take a business call while we were out and about showing him the sights. We came across the Ritz-Carlton and figured a hotel would be a great place to take the call while they waited in the lobby.
I've worked at 5 star properties before, and I can tell you that the most important aspect of it all is the service. WOW did the Ritz-Carlton perform. When we arrived there were multiple people at the door that were greeting us, welcoming us, thanking us for coming in. They were SO friendly and it was greatly appreciated.
On the way out they were exactly the same, chatting with us about where we were going, and wishing us a great day in Georgetown.
The property itself was immaculate, very well decorated, and the free wifi in the lobby worked great for the call.
Wow
Amazing service, absolutely gorgeous.
Best hotel I have ever stayed !
An excellent hotel. I stay here frequently for business trips. The amenities are top notch, and the location is perfect. The service is outstanding. It's the perfect location for team building events and sessions.
Neat and classic though it doesn't look so appealing from outside
Nicely repurposed factory. Inside is very quaint, but approaching the front entrance is very tight when it comes to arriving vehicles.
Very nice swite rooms and good food. The hotel has a great environment and a lot of places to eat nearby.
The hotel stay itself was fine. Lobby was a little dark for my taste, but I'm sure it's a mood. Room was spacious.
However when my wife and I got our car back, it smelled of smoke. We eventually found a used Cigar butt on the floor on the passenger side.
