Attended a Brazilian jazz concert. Great drinks. Fun, relaxed atmosphere.

The service we received was excellent! They made our reception dinner a huge success will definitely use them again.

Really enjoy what they did with the place. The location can't be beat and its a wonderful place to meet colleagues and conduct informal meetings. Love being able to get out and go to Georgetown so easily. The beds are terrific too!

It is a beautiful but expensive hotel. People are so nice.

Lack of customer service is unreal and not clean we had breakfast in the lobby due to covid and no one picked up dirty plates for hours ,said they were part of American Express fine hotels and rewards when we got there they did not honor it said they were no longer part of the program and that should of been updated, that s false advertisement I have stayed in many ritz hotels but I won t be staying in this one again

Incredible service at the Degrees bar. Great drink selections, some even include a show.

Most amazing hotel experience!!! Greeted with champagne and a smile from the front desk... upgraded to a beautiful suite... doorman and bellman became friends of mine suing my stay. I felt so pampered and comfortable during my stay. Rooms were so classy and really captured the historical atmosphere of DC.
Amazing lounge and downstairs bar and restaurant and warm cozy fire as well!!! Also connected to Equinox health club, which was amazing!! I wish this property offered residences.... I would be first in line to purchase!!

Went to the Ritz for a party. The food was good, the people were nice, the fahrenheit ballroom was a little hot.

Fantastic hotel! My family chose this hotel as the place to camp for a big family wedding. Rooms are large, well appointed with luxurious beds. Property is a former factory which has been turned into a completely unique space. Public areas are so comfortable and relaxing, not stuffy at all. But the best part is the staff. Luis, Shervonne, Marianna and George and the entire staff made our stay unforgettable. My partner and I were treated like royalty. Truly lovely people here who care about their guests. We will come back he first chance we get.

The bar at the Ritz was a fantastic experience. The bartender was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly.

I am writing this review a year later, after our amazing stay at the Ritz Carlton Georgetown. I have meant to do it, however life got in the way. My sister, mother and I had a 3 day stay last November and are still talking about it. Not only was the hotel exceptional, the service was immaculate too. There was delicious Coffee in the lobby each morning, a personal greeting from front desk staff, housekeeping, and valet, each and every time we made contact, and even a hotel car was provided to my birthday dinner. Kenneth ( I think that s his name), was the king of little touches to make this stay so special. He offered champagne to us when we crossed paths Saturday evening, and he left us a personal card and gift the day we left outside of our door. We felt so special all weekend long, and it truly felt like a 5 star event!!!

Excellent hotel amazing employees who are extremely professional and caring. Am extremely happy with all the services, as a Platinum Elite Member I can truly say this hotel is by far the best hotel I ve ever stayed with SPG.

Spent NYE here with friends. I had booked a suite but while checking in the manager, Martin, overheard me saying friends were coming over to celebrate. He ended up upgrading me to the Presidential Suite which was beyond amazing. Throughout the evening, my friends' children did a scavenger hunt that was really interesting and informative. They enjoyed their prizes of kites and free desserts. We also ordered room service which was delivered in a timely and perfect fashion. I have stayed at this hotel several times. Everytime the service is exceptional. I never expect or rely on an upgrade with my Titanium status but I very much appreciate it when it is possible. I also stay here every year for my birthday weekend and enjoy their amazing spa. For those looking for the perfect Georgetown location, a great spa, exceptional service, and comfort... take advice from a local. This is the place.

This place is very nice and perfectly located. First class service all around.

The staff. In particular Martin and Luiz who made me feel at home for multiple nights. They both went above and beyond and were attentive to all the little details that will ensure I m a repeat customer.

Probably my favorite ritz - love the smokiness of the lounge decor and the brick hallway leading to the rooms.

Note - the hotel is non-smoking for anyone that takes my comment literally.

Went for a valentines day party, the venue was fantastic. Beautiful lobby and dance floor. Hotel is in a great area, of course.

Hotel is located in a great location to dine and shop.

The service and cleanliness of the rooms are very good and up to the Ritz Carlton international standards.

Visited this hotel several times and the last visit was much better than the last. The rooms are spacious and has updated amenities.

There are some rooms that are in the "basement" with views overlooking at a small wall surrounding the lower ground of the hotel (below lobby floor).

Staff are very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean . Great job

We visited the Ritz-Carlton this Friday night. The building was beautifully decorated. The service was top notch. We would definitely recommend that again.

Love this hotel. The main lobby is so cozy. I come here to get massages. The gym is amazing!

Highlight of our trip: Mercy, the server in Degree Bistro. We felt at home thanks to her.

We spent Christmas at the RC Georgetown this year and were glad we did. The hotel lobby is beautifully festive with a fireplace and has hot chocolate, marshmallows, and yum S'mores in the evenings. The dining room and bar serve food and drinks in the cozy lobby. One server that was very nice - Ivan. I liked their version of Moscow Mule and scallops (suggestions by Ivan).

We had breakfast during our stay that was yum too, but most importantly, our server Mercy in the dining room made our experience wonderful. She was attentive to everyone and went out of her way to make sure that people got what they wanted and how they wanted it. She deserves to be the manager and should be training the staff in the dining room (and they do need training) instead of simply being a server. One Asian oldish server also did a decent job.

The rest of the staff in the dining room and lobby was eh. So ask for Mercy to serve you and try their eggs over easy with toast, fresh OJ, bagel with Nutella, and waffles with berries. I think the cream with the waffles was made in-house and so good.

In administration the following were helpful: the reservationist Marcia, the front office manager Martin (makes sense that he is a manager with his sense of customer service), and front office staff Nicole, Aiden, and Roxana.

Hope Mercy gets promoted thanks to this review because many, many guests at the hotel were praising her for her hard work and the management should make sure that good people stay. The culture of some other staff was not very positive as they would disappear or simply ignore customers.

I went to an event at the Yard. It was expensive but delicious. Crowded but the staff kept on top of it. I'd definitely go back.

We are very pleased with the Ritz Carlton restaurant.
The server and the other staff members were extremely attentive professional, and kind. We really enjoyed our brunch. The pancakes and waffles were delicious , the berries fresh and the wipped cream succulent. We were served warm organic maple sirup! What a treat!

I went to a work related event here last weekend! Wow I was impressed with the customer service. They definitely have their catering, large group events down to a T. I will definitely look into utilizing them for our company someday. I normally don't post reviews unless I feel a business goes above and beyond.. your hotel and event team definitely did!

Attended a wedding. Beautiful hotel and the wedding seemed to go seamlessly. The staff was very nice and friendly.

I was at the Ritz last night for drinks - it took almost an HOUR for our friends to get theirs, we asked multiple times, so I got a bottle of champagne - still took about 30 minutes - and then after we finally got everything they just kind of forgot about us. Terrible service, incredibly disappointing especially for what we were paying. Would not recommend to anyone!

This building has a ton of character! Gorgeous location right on the waterfront in Georgetown. Great vibe in the commons area with the wood stove piping on a cold rainy day. Staff are super kind. The 1 bedroom suite (thanks for the upgrade!!!) is super spacious and well appointed!

Like the more contemporary vibe than usual Ritz Carltons, very open and happening lobby. Only points off would be for restaurant which seems like an afterthought

Absolutely stunning and elegant. Had the best massage at the SPA. HIGHLY recommend, will be a regular.

The shrimp in the shrimp cakes have the tails still on them. A little too crunchy for me but a lady told me that that's how they do it in Jamaica. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff is very friendly and professional.

Love this hotel. Very quiet, not pretentious as you would think it might be. Really nice and very accommodating to every need.

This Ritz is a little different from some of the other ones because it has a more modern feel to it. But a solid, modern feel that gives way to a collected calm, just steps away from crazy Georgetown.

If you need a break, I would definitely recommend the spa! Tucked away downstairs, the massages are amazing.

This place is a nightmare. It should be two Star. The food is awful. Service is awful. The lobby is ugly nosey with loud music at all times. You can barely hear the people in you party. The have free candy everywhere in the lobby like everybody comes here is in kindergarten. The charge for the WiFi. You have to walk through a dungeon to get to your rooms. The rooms are very small and have no elegance. You feel like your in holiday Inn. This is not worth. Rhe hefty price.Go some where else if you want a 5 star experience.

Great luxury boutique hotel. Clean, great staff, and oh-so-comfortable. All the high-end amenities you'd expect. Room Service: I ordered chicken soup upon settling in suite. BEST chicken soup ever, hands down. Bar downstairs: Nice atmosphere, sparsely populated each time I've been. Great service. Nice selection of bar good, including sliders, quesadillas, and sampler platters for those late nights when you're having a drink and relaxing. Much enjoyed - definitely would return to Ritz Georgetown.

It's a Ritz Carlton in Georgetown, what do you expect? FYI...this is a celebrity hotspot, I know many always stay here when they are in town!
