I was so please with Officer Gailbe and Officer Castro
I was having a difficult time with a family member and they came into our home and was able to resolve things.They eased my mind and just made me feel protected and safe while they were here. They just went the extra mile to reassure me and gave me information of agencies that I could contact for help in dealing with my domestic situation. The officers even went out and checked my garage and unplugged the garage door opener just so I would feel safe being here by myself in a very rural part of Osceola County. I just want to really thank them for their service and pray that they stay safe for their families and also for the community because these are the kind of officers that we need serving the people of Osceola County thank you so much. am a employee of family dollar in bvl and we usually don’t expect dogs to come to our store as customer but well on Tuesday 01/16/24 on my shift we did had a very friendly dog come into the store but customers were not so happy about that, so I had to called the non emergency number and asked for help to get the lost dog so he won’t get hurt since there is a road close by … they have been so helpful and send an officer within a few minutes the nicest , caring person every dog could wish for to get help from deputy McDonald from the Osceola county sheriff department came and picked up the dog but not only that he asked me if I could hold the dog one more time?and I said yes sure then he went into the store and purchased the lost dog a toy, treats and a leash! That dog was so happy ! Awesome job deputy McDonald from the Osceola County sheriff department ! Thank you again for serving and for doing a job that puts others first and for being a one of the hero’s for out community!!!

I am new here, I had a Emergency call from some one saying my Mother 83 Y/O had fallen. I qas going a little faster the the apeed limit to get to my mothers side.
I have alway supported police officers, but rhis Osxwola Countey Sheiff made me wait, I asked him twice to give me the tickets, ao I could get to my mothers side. He was rude, rude rude!! I qould and will never aupport anything rhe Oaceola County Sheriffs office again!! I was rude that I was from California, plus I believe he was mea. And rude because I have a gay pride sticker on my car!! I believe he gave me fasle tickets just to be a jerk.
Then they ask qhy qe do not TRUST A OFFICER!! When they falsely claim things and are rude and not worried there is a EMERGENCY happening down the street. As I waited for him to weite all those false tickets he found to give me, I call 911 to check on my mother!!!

Congratulations on your departmental actions along with the fire department in going to the little autistic boy's birthday party when none of his classmates turned up.

I watched a photographer quietly taking a few pictures of a public building, and one of your deputies got in his face, caused a scene and then started to argue that it was illegal to take pictures of anyone in public! Where do you hire these intellectual giants who suffer from small man's syndrome? I watched the deputy escalate the situation for over a half hour over public photography. Surely, you don't need a bigger budget for the Sheriff's Office if your deputies have time to waste, harassing photographers in public.

Awesome police department. My first time ever being arrested was by OCSO and I will say they made it a great experience. Nice police officers and professional. Seats in the squad car could be a little softer but over all, very good experience. I don t plan on ever being arrested again by them but for anyone looking for a ride to jail, they will definitely get you there.

From their community service related projects to the way they handle talking to kids, I'm proud of our Sheriff's Department. If you don't like what you experience in Osceola County, then move away.

Had an incident today-14 nov 18-around 345pm on s.poincina blvd where a young 20 something female driver tried to pass on my right almost rear ending me and also taking the front end off a van in the right lane....she was running about 75mph in a 55 zone, then proceeded to cuss at me as i pulled next to her... It was her fault for running people off the road and having total disregard for the rules of the road. Luckily an osceola county sheriffs deputy was nearby at the walmart on vine st. and instructed me what to do as it was considered a road rage incident. Got her license plate on my dash cam and contacted osceloa county..hope they get her(black hyundai 4 door-tinted windows-fl plates)before she kills someone with her reckless driving....thnx for the help officer. Very polite and professional. Slow down young drivers!!!!!!!!

After a fasle report from a officer i checked around and found No body standing at the fire station with the cops boot prints tracked I'll talk to them tomorrow sorry I can't give zero Star's for harassing drug free working homeless people he must have been following orders or GPS coordinates to harass me in the middle of the night looks like sheriff's was out here last night to no cob webs or prints from fire station y'all must be discriminatory against homeless people that make good money try and help not hurt one thing I hate is liar's especially from cops much less drug addicts congress has even stated that driving under normal everyday affairs of work and that you don't have to have a license to drive .yes I go to work driving a scooter and get stuff to eat illegally by state law but federal law trumps it. As soon as I get state residency I will get things straight but I want to get my children out of states custody and be a father likely a single Father

When sharing jurisdiction with Kissimmee they're about as useful as herpes

The traffic police are not keeping up with ALL the bad drivers in the Poinciana area, or Kissimmee area. Speeding, following to close, improper lane changes your free to do that here. They won't stop you.

Dont bother calling the non-emergency number. It will just ring and ring and ring for a half hour.

If I could give no stars, I definitely would. They are absurd and don't do anything to help people.

The dispatch is one problem. It seems half of them are in training and the other half needs it. I calling a emergency situation and they call Kissimmee Police dispatch to try to determine who should be responsible to dispatch a officer. SMH

my son is in the military and deployed at this time.. his ex girlfriend has managed to access his business account even though we had cancelled all the cards, open his mail though not authorized, and is calling people pretending she is me. she also has his 2 guns and personal belongings and their response is its civil. he can take her to court when he gets back. does anyone think there will be anything left.. Really, what happen to protect and serve those military members that are protecting and serving to keep your butts free!!!!! hope those guns don"t get use for some criminal act because THEY WERE reported to you !!!! Saw a video online of a woman being racially accosted and your officers responded and put her at fault?? The video shows the woman being unruly and also touching the victims and there property. But I guess your officers didn't wanna see the video to charge these individuals with a hate crime. You guys are terrible for America.

Called the Sheriff's office to enforce closing the "walking gate" to Regatta Bay Apartments from Green Meadow Circle. Also 2 cars parked on Green Meadow outside the "walking gate". This "walking gate" is supposed to be open only during the school walk hours. The Sheriff called back and said they would not do anything. They have helped us before many times, calling and enforcing closing this gate. Tonight they refused to do anything. They said we will have to wait till Monday morning to call the apartment complex. Thanks for nothing, now the gate is open all weekend! Opening this gate only for school hours was an agreement with the apartment complex and Green Meadow residents when it was being built.

The medical practice I manage was victim of a new employee, who used our bank account details to pay her own bills. I contacted the sheriff's department, and nothing was done about it, on the assumption that the bank would not want to press charges, as the stolen amount was under $300. It was suggested to us by the Sheriff's Department that we change our bank account, to avoid similar incidents in the future. I found the suggestion appalling, coming from a law enforcement agency that was supposed to take steps to punish the offender. It is impossible for a business of our magnitude to change bank accounts without losing money, as we have hundreds of vendors and partners depositing money into our account every day. An investigation into the matter would have secured at least a misdemeanor charge for the offender. Instead, that person remains unpunished to this day, basically being encouraged, by the Sheriff Department's inaction, to continue to offend and steal from other unsuspecting employers.
I insisted on an investigation, requesting a call back from a supervisor from the Sheriff's Department. It never happened.

It's a great place to visit, all activities and attractions are at arm reach.

I saw an assualt from two officers on a guy legally filming. And the supervisor acted disgracefully also. I hope they lose their qualified immunity.

I recently had my wallet stolen out of my vehicle while visiting in Osceola County. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the Sheriff who took my initial statement. I told him it was my fault for leaving my car unlocked. His response was that leaving my vehicle unlocked does not give someone the right to steal my property, and they take this very seriously. Case was assigned to a detective who updated me multiple times. Within a couple of weeks, the detective's last update was "we arrested the individual who stole your wallet!" I am grateful to the public service your Sheriff's office performs. Thank you Deputy Fisher and Detective Cox. I truly appreciate your commitment to public safety.

Is it still only a 6 month corse to arrest citizens for not breaking the law?

My phone was stolen at Hollywood Studios and the sheriffs department was so helpful. Thanks to the deputies and Find My IPhone, I have my phone back along with 3 years of pictures. Everyone that we encountered last night was so nice and helpful!! What started as a sad day ended as a very happy one thanks to their help! Much appreciated

Visited my grandparents after getting home from a deployment. Got in late, after midnight. Parked, apparently facing the wrong way on the wrong side of the street. Fined $50! Hesitated for a few weeks, thinking about protesting it. Got another letter in the mail demanding $77!!

My experiences in the past four years with the Osceola Police/Sheriffs Department in Kissimmee, FL have been far from pleasurable. I have witnessed police brutality, inability to de-escalate minor arguments or 9-1-1 calls, illegal dumping, blatant disregard of the traffic laws that they have specifically chosen to ignore, and illegal fraudulent arrests with made up charges.

The Osceola Police Department Officers are a hit and miss of good officers. As this does not apply to 100% of the police force, I must say that I have met a handful of good honest cops doing their best to serve their community and neighbors; But out of all the communities I have lived and served in, this counties police force that was sworn to uphold the peace has severely dropped the ball.

I have had good moments with the fine member's of the Osceola sheriffs county but they have been few and far in between. I used to own a motorcycle shop and they raided my shop 3 different times going on as little information as an anonymous call from some troll. They never found nothing illegal or wrong but they never said sorry for breaking doors, scaring away my customers or making me look like a criminal. 30 officers showed up each time looking like a private army in black, but when my business was broken into and I was robbed for over 10 k in inventory, not one cop showed up, only a community service officer who was 60 years old. My one warning to people in this county is be careful, again there are a few good men but the sheriff department's agenda as a whole is not to serve and protect. Then again are there any who do? At least they are not going around killing unarmed people, for that I give them 2 stars.

Was assaulted by Deputy Bob Stockman while attempting to get into the back of his car of my own free will due to a 911 call for help. I live in Broward county, originally from NY and have never experienced brutality or lack of proper training in law enforcement. Sargent refused my request to file a complaint against D/S Stockman and had to go through ranks to get complaint initiated. Don t have much hope there will be any consequences for his actions as they seem to have each other s backs . I was told there are no dashboard or body cameras in this incident, very convenient for them. My daughters, aged 8 and 10, witnessed the assault and are now traumatized by the sight of any police officer, the younger one has pulled out most of her hair due to the anxiety caused since the incident. Unfortunately they represent the law and are allowed to lie and use any means they want to achieve their goals. I pray that there is change in this agency! Please report any and every injustice from them, it is the only way to affect change!!!!

I gave one star because zero stars is not an option. Very dissapointed with the PROCESS of MY Complaint For Tenant Eviction-(Non Payment of Rent) I filed plus the time I spend at the courthourse filing multiple documents and PAId $250 for them to serve the tenant. I had all my documents in order from a lease, a 3 day eviction notice and background check.The sheriff went to the property to give the papers to the tenant, the tenant was not present at the property. The sherriff called the tenant and the tenant reply over the phone that didnt want the eviction documents. Then I have to wait the whole weekend. Then another sheriff went back and once again same story. The situation ended with the papers being sent to my mailbox and because the tenant was already gone they were never delivered in person. Lastly that same sheriff told me that the only option for the tenant to be serve in person is for ME to get new forward address. I could have save my money, time and have done all of that process myself. THE TENANT GOT AWAY WITH FREE RENT. Waste my time and money....OSCEOLA COUNTY SHOULD LEARN A LOT FROM POLK COUNTY where the laws and rules are followed or you paid the consequences. Planning to move there

The Truth is The Police do not care about The People, they earn our trust just to betray us. They plant drugs and evidence on people just so they can arrest them, not to mention they do illegal raids, shoot and kill unarmed civilians. These actions are uncalled for, especially if you are given responsible to Protect and Serve us. And apparently they don't uphold the motto, because they decided to throw out all our rights. Just to lie, throw up false evidence, and trick people into taking the blame for someone they're too lazy to get or they made up. The Corruption must stop now. Tonight wasbHalloween night in celebration. There was a Sheriff posted on the intersection of Mulberry Ave and Celebration Ave. He stayed there about 5 hours, though which he was an excellent example of how to conduct himself in a public celebration mode, while keeping traffic and pedestrians safe and flowing nicely. Thank you for a job well done.

Truck hit by hit and run while parked unattended in Publix lot at Celebration. It was a rental so needed a Police report number for CDW file. Sheriff Department offered to send an Officer, rather than us drive 20 miles to file at their office. Officer arrived within 5 minutes. Great guy and very helpful.

I called to ask about running a Vin number and when can I come in...well the guy on the phone was one of the nicest guys I have ever spoken to and then he said they will send someone to me...omg are you kidding I couldn't believe it.wow.then a officer came and what a great guy he was.so friendly....I have only been in Florida about 3years and I am so impressed.my son is an officer in Brevard and they are great so now I know so is Osceola....so so impressed....thank you all and please be safe

Osceloa officer hit my son while he was stopped at a red light and killed him.
Then she lied about her brakes failing. Then the office stood behind her and kept her on the job put her in a county vehicle three weeks later where she caused another crash on the 417 her fault.
Then her stood behind her again and she kept her job. This is a gross case of failure to protect the people of Osceola County, what else is he capable of if this death was not important to address properly.
Citizens of the County should be very concerned that this is who protects you!

Who are these people accountable to? No one picks up the phone. Customer service is nonexistent.

The Osceola County Sheriffs is staffed with wonderful men and women that always have what's best for our community in mind, the are definitely ambassadors of Osceola County, they do a lot for our community outside of enforcing the law.

Lost/Destroyed evidence based on the denials of a dirty cop that is well known on the street to be demented and abusive. A corrupt department. Waiting for the courtesy of a callback to file formal complaints and to facilitate a much needed Internal Affairs Investigation. Zero stars really.

Unfortunately their Internal Affairs Department is apparently as worthless and corrupt. This is evident from the letter I received, stating that despite evidence and photo proof on hand, they are refusing to discipline and correct the problems in their department. No mention of the missing/destroyed evidence of injuries sustained during the police brutality that occurred.

My expectations that integrity and honor exist there are now proven false. Another reason why my 12 yr old son already has a deep mistrust of the police. Disappointed, disgusted and despite my hopes for a successful resolution, it seems that racism, deceit, targeting and corruption are thriving in the Osceola Sheriff's Department.

I urge any other victims to speak up, stand their ground and report similar experiences. It is only this way that the abuse will stop and the necessary corrections will be made. Above all, I urge caution and second thoughts before calling the police. I know I will never contact them for assistance again.

I wish I could give zero stars, this office is a joke at best. you have nothing but problems. they embrace their ways. leach off the public and act like they do anything to help the community. If someone steals from you they will laugh at it and if someone does anything they can put on their twitter feed they jump in . they should call them the social media police department. what a shame they are.

RAVE: Osceola County Sheriff & SC Police working together to ensure my father was okay after serious impared driving on Nova Rd then Hwy 192. An off duty officer first saw him and took the time to ensure they were safe when he was headed to go hunting. Your professionalism was outstanding! Thank you for truly caring about the welfare and safety of my parents. I can't thank them enough on how they handled the difficult situation. Thank you for day in and day out serving in our community.

These folks don't mess around! You call, they immediately respond. The cool part is, they understand their community and know who is a local and who needs to keep it moving.

Best Sheriff's Department ever! They genuinely care about helping people. Always kind, respectful and willing to take the time to listen and have so much compassion.

Deputy Puig (hopefully his correct title!) stopped us for a speed infraction. He was polite, courteous, and educated us on the area which was wonderful because this is our first family vacation and our first time in the area. While no one loves to be stopped, this encounter was the best I can imagine possible, and I wish more Sheriffs were like Osceola County.

Non emergency is garbage. You call them tell them the problem. They ask you if you want to meet the deputy you wait over an hour after the call and noone shows up. This is how Gibson want to get re-elected. Street closed people almost causing accidents and they never show up. Also, I got like three four wheelers abd a dirt bike up and down my street and not a deputy in site. Poinciana needs their own Police this needs to stop. Sherriffs department use to patrol around now they don't and people are taking advantage. Gibson you want my vote you better get this fixed.
