Went to eat lunch at summer palace. The chef's tasting menu was well packaged, but service was, honestly, a little on the slow side. The ambience was pretty much as you would expect from a hotel restaurant - clean, well-manicured and all. Would go back, simply because other similar options are so prohibitively expensive now.
The mahattan bar is definitely worth visiting when you're at regent hotel.

Nice hotel, fantastic bar (Manhattan). Reasonable fitness centre but mediocre pool. Well located, really worth a trip to the botanical gardens that are within walking distance. Pretty extreme price gouging on restaurant food, it doesn't look anything special and if you eat here you're missing out on a world of fantastic food in Singapore. Overall it's been a good stay and I'd come back... Manhattan was probably the highlight and worth checking out

Attended a friend's wedding banquet at tanling room. The hall is quite narrow with only two rows of table. Some tables at the back will not be able to see the stage clearly. When the food was mostly served cold. The waitress were very inexperience.

Great hotel with high luxury experience. Lobby is very big and excelent..There are different zones in the lobby for different demends. If you want to stay with your friends and chat, you can do in the lobby. Or if you want to turn on your laptop and looking for a quite and fresh area in the lobby, you have it there. Rooms are nice and also breakfast is delicious. Staff is always helfull. Location is also good, just at the beginning of the Orchard road. Starbucks is very close :)

"The Tea Lounge" at the Regent should be on everyones Singapore to-do list, their fine selection of teas are served perfectly by impeccable staff, the salad bar addition to the traditional afternoon tea is brilliant because you can top up your appetite with a cornucopia of breads and "super fresh" salads or cold meats. The "extra" desert table is perfect a a naughty indulgence but the star of the show is the signature desert !
The Golden Apple ! - is an iced Yuzu Apple Compote, Yoghurt Espuma and Hazelnut Molasses Crumble served in an exquisite Sugar Shell Apple, made while you wait by the desert chef...
We could not resist the temptation to add a flight of four champagnes... Perfect and not to be missed...
Parking lots are too limited and expensive. Regent Singapore is nicely decorated with nice lighting.

Visited the Tea Lounge with a group of seven and a baby for tea buffet. Baby seat was provided and we took up the sofa and an additional side table. Cosy and comfortable, accompanied by live piano playing just outside the lounge created a rather warm ambience. Service was good and we enjoyed the Saturday afternoon with a petite selections of local snacks and dessert.
Five star hotel in the Orchard area of Singapore. Walking distance from Botanical Gardens. The hotel and the room decor gives a royal feel. A Four Seasons property.
Came to the ballroom for a wedding dinner. The place is grand. The service is good and staff very friendly.
Had Saturday brunch at Basilico. Food was excellent and an authentic experience of Italian food. Service at the restaurant's reception could definitely use improvement; inattentive, had to approach the staff several times before we were finally shown to our table (even though we had a reservation and were early).

Manhattan happy hour is not as good as it used to be. The sandwich is tiny now and there's no welcome drink. A bit sad.

The location is so usefull, the local bus stop is just in front of the hotel, and the MRT station "orchard" is located near here(7 8 minutes on foot).
Our room's bathroom was little bit old, but worked enough(Sorry for not taking/posting photos of the bathroom).
The restaurant "Basilico" is famous for its nice and wide-variaty food, that was ok.
Friendly staff, great time and a hearty breakfast. All in all, it's been a great stay.

The food there is awesome! At the buffet (which to me, is a little too overpriced), there was a balloon sculpting man. He makes hreat balloons. I recomend you guys to go there.
