The starters, both veg and non-veg are well cooked and tasty. The kebabs, tikka's, and mogo are great. I am less impressed with the main dishes, a bit too greasy and generally not as good as starters in terms of quality and taste.

Not a great place to dine-in if you want a relaxing and comfortable ambience; the place is very noisy with waiters and customers running around, and some tables only have stools for seats. It is a casual pub-style experience. Also waiters will push you to finish your meal quicker than you'd like because they want to pass the table onto another customer.

Purely for the quality of the food starters, I'm positive about the place.

Better food can be found elsewhere and the service is terrible. The service is so rushed and the staff generally unpleasant enough to make you want to leave (probably to create a higher turnover of tables I am guessing)

Mains are great, but as most Indian restaurants disappoint with the mains. The chops recipe has changed, preferred it before and not sure why they changes. Also the menu I found was a combination of Bombay and Kenyan, where before it was more of a Kenyan influence. The Chilli chicken, had tandoori chicken sliced in indo/chinese spices which was a bit odd!

Been going here the last 10 years and use to go once a month without a doubt with the lads and travel 1hour 40 mins to get there, and the food never disappoints.

However it gets way too busy now and everytime it comes to booking a table it's got to be well in advance to get a good time slot which doesn't work well with us when before we would turn up and wait 30 mins or an hour at the bar before getting a table, so weve stopped coming here and exploring other places.

Purple flame restaurant not far away if Regency is busy it's just as good

I went in after they refurbished and was not impressed by the service. The old regency was more relaxed but they have taken that element away from the club.
As soon as we sat down the waiters kept putting us under pressure to order and pay our bill and we felt we were kept being watched. Food standards i feel have dropped as I have been eating there for over 20 years.

I certainly will not go back there anymore as you cant relax and have a drink there. Whoever is running it now needs to wake up as I saw very little foot flow through the door than before.

The old saying if its not broken dont fix it! Anyway I can see others going Blue Ginger or other places more. Regency is no longer regency!

The best African asian bar and restaurant in London. All the food is consistent in quality, authenticity, quantity and price. Thrre starters are by far the best Indian tapas anywhere outside of India and Kenya

try the Chicken pilli pilli if you think your hard enough - also good for Sunday hangovers, if going during footy matches, book in advance or get there way before kick off to avoid disappointment!

This place used to be fantastic, however nowadays it seems they are just living off their brand/past glory. The food wasnt bad, it was ok, average, edible, but it just wasn't as great as it has been in the past, it's become strictly average and generic now. The frontline staff and overall good service remain the same but with the falling standards in their food it seems they have changed chefs many times and that is a shame. Had I posted a review anytime before 2015 I would have given it 5 stars for sure.

Must try place for Indian food outside the city. This place was highly recommended by friends & family before our trip to London and was well worth it! uber is a bit difficult to get towards late evening so suggest early dinners!

Really good, cheap Indian food as you'll be able to tell from the constant queues at all times of the day. We were told it would be an hour wait for a table but we were lucky and only waited 10 minutes! There's a bar to pass the time if you do need to wait though.

I prefer the starters to the actual curries. The chilli paneer and mogo chips are delicious. However I felt like the chicken in the curries was a bit dry.

Such a shame you can't leave a 0 rating. We'd heard so much about the 'restaurant' yet it failed to live up to even 1% of the expectation. When they are happy to fridge display that the steamed rice they serve is already in plates waiting to be warmed up in a microwave then expectations start falling rapidly. The okra fries had no flavour, the chickpea curry clearly was from a pre-made jarred cooking sauce you can find on the shelf of any supermarket with some canned chickpeas added. To charge customers for this food is a travesty. Avoid at all costs unless you are happy with bad service and terrible food.

This is a good restaurant and bar, previously it was members only, but now open to the general public.
I recommend that you book a table, since it very busy during the evenings.
They a varied non-veg and vegetarian menu. The food quality is excellent and portions are a good size.
They there own brand of lager too! Definitely should be tried!
I have been to this restaurant 2 times now and not been disappointed on both occasions.
Definitely recommend the Regency Club.

The food and service here is really well machined. Food is always full of flavour and never have I left feeling disappointed.

Towards the end of the meal you do feel a little rushed to leave but usually there are always long queues. Best tip would be to book a table in advanced unless you dont mind having a drink or two while you wait for a table to free up.

Recently refurbished restaurant which has been around for years, the food is always brilliant if slightly more expensive then the other good indian restaurants in the borough. Great selection of spirits too. Would always suggest you book in advance, GUT s are given to all due to the popularity.

We ordered from the regency last night as part of ubers two for one offer and only recieved one of each dish. Regency told us they were not part of the offer but are clearly on the list of participating restaurants. Regency didnt want to know when we complained and put us on to uber who gave us an automated response. Regency said they have had numerous complaints yet are still on the participating list. I wont be using uber eats or regency again both are dishonest and dont want to know once you have parted with your hard earned money.

I have been going to the Regency Club over the last 10 years. Obviously, the food has to be good for anyone to go to the same restaurant once per week for a decade. As you are aware, the place was remodified internally. I think its been at least 6 months now or maybe more. Since the remod, we haven't been pleased like the old times. The food has dropped in standards - its tasteless as they hardly put any salt in their dishes which of course is health wise good but yet their Mains is always covered in a puddle of oil so its counter effective. The Mains is awful! You are better of going to a proper Lahore house for proper authentic curry. Even their starters is not anything to be excited about. For example, yesterday, they had Fish Bhajia for specials, so I decided to try them and it was horrendous, absolutely tasteless. It is as if their current chefs cannot make food that gives that authentic taste and they lack creativity in their dishes. Last but not least, I find their doormen Pankaj rude and he selectively chooses who to welcome properly. Towards me and my family, he has always been unwelcoming. It a shame as this place was fantastic back in the days but it has changed now - a lot of the old waitresses who used to work there for a long time have gone and now they have employed a lot of European staff. The only thing I believe why some people still go there is because of the reputation it has inherited from the success it had from the good old days but I certainly won't be going there anymore.

First time writing a review but after coming to the regency club for dinner last night I felt I had to! Super welcoming, friendly and attentive staff, great selection of beers, and an open kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared. Speaking of the food, it s out of this world! Large portion sizes and so much to choose from (I d recommend the chicken wings and mushkaki lamb pieces). My only regret is that now I ve found this place they ll be closing for a few weeks for a refurbishment so I ll have to wait before going back for some more of their fantastic food! Thoroughly enjoyed myself and could not recommend enough!

Since the renovation of the restaurant, I feel the quality of the food and staff have deteriorated . They are no longer appreciating their customers anymore. I was repeatedly told that my booking ended at 8.30pm even though it was only 7pm. Their staff's attitude is appalling and I will no longer be recommending this restaurant to people. Unfortunately their standards have dropped.

Would HIGHLY recommend the chicken burger or the chicken tikka or the sheek kebab

Great all round experience at this place. Not bad prices for a very busy informal place to dine. An amazing place for any foodie and vegetarians are well catered for. I'm Leicester based and have travelled just to eat there!

Would rate it 5 stars but Regency are not accommodating to special requests and do not serve poppadoms. A few more items on the dessert menu would be better!

Great service. Ordered a takeaway which came with one of the items missing. The issue was promptly rectified, and we received a complimentary starter along with the missing dish! The food was delicious as always

I didnt quite understand the hype from friends of this place. The vegetarian food here is ok. The garlic mogo was good (highlight of the meal) and the chilli paneer was similar to many other north west London Indian restaurants. The mains were ok in that there was nothing stand out about it. Bear in mind we only had 3 dishes. Would I choose to come back? Probably not but if someone asked me to come I wouldn't mind.

Got chilli paneer, bhajias, manchurian chicken, chilli naan

Passion fruit juice was nice, but they brought it in a pint glass which is strange for juice.
