Given to us by word of mouth, the best Indian of North London....and totally confirmed. The only thing, it is far from central London. Nothing much to do over-there else than going for lunch/diner. But it worth it so much. Interesting setting in this mid-60 Pub. Try their Dal Makhari is to die for and also the Veg Bahar (soya mince and paneer tikka pieces coated in a fenugreek infused curry sauce). Sumptuous. Would recommend.

An old members only pub converted into a curry house, always busy even on weekdays. We went in around 8pm on Sunday, still packed with people but drank at the bar first. Ended up only waiting about 10min for the table and the service is More

Very disappointed! We can't go as a family except on Sunday as we have a child..children aren't welcome!!

Today I have no child but am heavily pregnant and they can't reserve me a table but instead expect me to stand..stand.. around for 45min waiting for a table! I suggested I arrive in 45min so I didn't have to stand for 45 min but they could accommodate! Shocking!!!

- Not family friendly
- No sense of customer service
- Still a obnoxious, ancient, old fashioned place! Walk in man and drink kind of place!! Not for the modern equal world we live in...

After 40 years of my family attending today we have decided not to go today or in the future!

Get with the times!!!!

High quality food, very different from other curry houses I've visited. I have never had authentic Indian curry but I would imagine this is damn near it! Most dishes have a nice little kick even they dont have a chilli next to name and the portions are very generous especially with starters and rice. A most visit
