Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Super Indian food!
Food is Good but very concentrated on getting you out of the restaurant after closing
Great food. Speedy service even for a busy Friday evening.
Probably the best Indian restaurant in north London
You cannot beat this place for a great Indian dining and bar experience. Hands down the best Indian food through London.
I love this place. Food is consistently excellent and has been for years. In my view the best Indian restaurant in London, I'd not the UK!
Very good.... Got a table within 5mins service was excellent
Given to us by word of mouth, the best Indian of North London....and totally confirmed. The only thing, it is far from central London. Nothing much to do over-there else than going for lunch/diner. But it worth it so much. Interesting setting in this mid-60 Pub. Try their Dal Makhari is to die for and also the Veg Bahar (soya mince and paneer tikka pieces coated in a fenugreek infused curry sauce). Sumptuous. Would recommend.
Excellent place to meet with friends and family plus food is just delicious!
First visit. Was an amazing meal. Great quality. Serving staff very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Chef accommodate spice tolerance to taste.
Nice atmosphere, nice staff. I am vegetarian and the items i had was not to a good standard
Leg of lamb was awful cold not cooked properly but grilled food was good
Great food and service but the place needs a refurbishment other wise would have got a 5 star
First time .Lot of space, very ambient, fast service, tasty food. Definitely coming again.
Just banging food, one of the best Indian food pubs in London
Amazing food. Similar to Dishoom which is pretty banging.
An old members only pub converted into a curry house, always busy even on weekdays. We went in around 8pm on Sunday, still packed with people but drank at the bar first. Ended up only waiting about 10min for the table and the service is More
Very disappointed! We can't go as a family except on Sunday as we have a child..children aren't welcome!!
Today I have no child but am heavily pregnant and they can't reserve me a table but instead expect me to stand..stand.. around for 45min waiting for a table! I suggested I arrive in 45min so I didn't have to stand for 45 min but they could accommodate! Shocking!!!
- Not family friendly
- No sense of customer service
- Still a obnoxious, ancient, old fashioned place! Walk in man and drink kind of place!! Not for the modern equal world we live in...
After 40 years of my family attending today we have decided not to go today or in the future!
Get with the times!!!!
good ok. prawns were chewy. staff didnt understand what you ordered. rushed experience
This is just the best. You will love it and will go again. Top chefs. Quality food and drinks. Your paying for the quality food. They do take away aswell.
Atmosphere is always good with the live sports on TV.
Meat is good especially the regency platter.
Vegetarian mains aren't great.
High quality food, very different from other curry houses I've visited. I have never had authentic Indian curry but I would imagine this is damn near it! Most dishes have a nice little kick even they dont have a chilli next to name and the portions are very generous especially with starters and rice. A most visit
Excellent food, loads of option for Veggies and non veggies. Highly recommended
Amazing food and service. My favourite Indian place of all time!!!!
Excellent food and very reasonable in pricing. Can get a little busy and organisation a little lacking as people standing everywhere waiting for tables, but worth the wait. Well done.
Excellent service and delicious food. Thanks to Davendra, Pankaj,Gautam, P M and all the staff.
