About as close to perfect as each time we come. The service is phenomenal and the staff is extremely professional.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff, amazing location, excellent restaurant. Nothing like waves breaking right below your room. FYI, rates can vary a lot by time of year (such as $489 to $1,449).

Outstanding all around. Beach service is amazing, bar and restaurant staff were there to take care of anything guests needed. Only disappointment was the significant inconsistency in housekeeping.

We love dining at this restaurant. View is amazing in the food has always been delicious! Service is great too. We have never had a bad experience here.

OMG don't get me started about the view! Fantastic doesn't describe it. Food amazing! Even the lunchtime garden salad was devine! Truffle fries were worth the guilt every bite. Finally, a walk on the beach to seal the deal. Valet parking is 10 and worth it and tip your people well, they're soooo on it and enjoyable and make the meal memorable. Must go get a cookie from the jar in the valet/ lobby waiting area of the hotel, this is the cherry on top of a great afternoon lunch at The Malibu Beach Inn.

Beautiful views! Every room has oven view. Our room had a nice desk, sitting chair, couch, and fireplace! Mini fridge stocked with everything. Several bottles of wine. Room service. The list goes on and on.

Everyone was very uppity and self involved. The workers looked at us as if we didn t belong because it was so expensive. The view of the beach at dinner was beautiful but in our room we had a view of the parking lot, not the beach. $700 for More

The outdoor dining area is purched over the Pacific ocean with a view of Malibu pier and surf rider beach. The kitchen offered a Dungeness crab omelete, steak and eggs and a blood orange mimosa. Beautiful ambiance and equally good. Dining.

The patio dining is fabulous! Excellent service & delicious!

They make you feel like you are at home. It's an amazing place to spend the weekend.

Our room was bathed in surf sounds all night long for a very soothing couple days on the beach in Malibu. Restaurant offers fresh spa type food choices, there is a great gym across the street with privileges from Malibu Beach Inn. Will definitely return.

I work here. I write and sit and have a tea and a bagel and sit still for hours in this beautiful ocean kissed venue with friendly staff. Chill jazz music typically playing, they can't advertise the "Carbon Beach Club" but apparently they have a killer fun brunch on the weekend too, which isn't my scene but you know, if you like that, it's supposed to be the best.

On the crashing Ocean in open air seating. Best Hamburger in MALIBU ! The seafood dishes are also wonderful. Great cocktails. Very quaint.

We love this place! My wife and I got engaged here 6 years ago and had an amazing experience. We just returned to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. The team there gave us the same table we had when we got engaged. Joey in the bar was helpful with picking the right champagne (Henriot was the perfect choice), and the maitre d (I can t remember his name) led us the right was with some tasty French wine. Recommend the eggplant app and the rib eye. Thank you Malibu Beach Inn!

Even though I do not like Malibu myself, the location, the attentive staff and the fantastic rooms overlooking the Pacific always make it worthwhile to stop here and enjoy the time. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

There's a fantastic restaurant at this little Boutique Hotel which boasts one of the best views of the coast in the Los Angeles area. The restaurant is pretty affordable compared to the surrounding options. I highly recommend grabbing lunch after a hike at this spot.

Simply the best retreat in all California! I love the picturesque scenery with a La Ferrari in front!

I stayed at this lovely property for one night and from the moment we came to the moment we left, we experienced wonderful service.

I've stayed at beautiful hotels internationally working as flight crew but the stay at Malibu Beach Inn is truly amazing and an unforgettable experience... Ocean view balconies, beautiful, modern, comfortable, elegantly sleek and sophisticated designed rooms you will never want to leave. Amenities are top notch! And you will not be disappointed with cuisine. A must see! A must go to!

I went here for a staycation and had the best experience! The hotel was right on the beach with the most beautiful views. The room had a fireplace and Nespresso to cozy up.

What really stood out was the staff - I literally texted my husband in awe of how great the staff was. From check in , to the room cleaning crew, and my waiter at their restaurant and then finally my valet - they all went above and beyond! Seriously!!! So kind, funny, friendly and provided water, chocolate and more!

Just remembering my experience here was absolutely amazing! I loved the view it was absolutely breath taking. I had a great experience over all and the staff was great. We would love to go back and I wish I could stay there forever!

This place is fabulous! Take your time and talk with the staff. Josh, Joe and Ramon were terrific. Enjoy the unbelievable view and don't hurry.
If Joey is tending the bar, ask him to make you a Tequila Espresso Martini. He uses just the right blends of everything.

Great spot to get breakfast even if you're not staying there - the selection's not great but the views are wonderful. You can sit and watch the tide come in.

Just be sure to have some cash for the valet.

This is an amazing place to stay. So warm and welcoming. Very accommodating. I felt like I was staying at a friends place rather than checking into a hotel.

From the check in to the bell services to room service. Everything was above and beyond.

The view is worth the stay alone but the welcoming feeling you get when your there is on par with the view.

This is one of my favorite places to stay at. It's a smaller hotel but very hip with incredible service. They have recently made some significant updates which has made the experience even better. Nice job with management as well, special thanks to Hotel Manager Joe

I don t really get why this place is so high rated. The rooms are so overpriced for what you get. It s a view of the water which is nice, but the beds are not that great, their choice for pillows feels so cheap. I am a deep sleeper and their pillows had me up for my day at 6 am after tossing and turning through the night. I was curious about staying here because the food is really on point, but the experience in the restaurant can t make up for a hotel with nothing to do, and a bad sleeping arrangement. It was clean seeming, but when the light reflects off the floors, you can see the spots missed. The wool blankets also don t add a clean vibe with how rough and off colored they are. I m sorry if this is a harsh review but when spending 1k for a night, you better believe people are gonna want that sparkle.

Spending my short vacay from this hotel was amazing. The place was so clean and organize. Especially my room, it was so clean and smells so good. The bathroom was so spacious, which I liked the most. The pool was so clean and cozy as well. My view from above was breathtaking. I will definitely bring my future boyfriend here.

I did not stay overnight at the Malibu Beach and but I did use their parking facility and they were very accommodating and it worked out perfectly we were able to spend the day at the beach and park at the end, it was great

I stayed at The Malibu Beach Inn for four nights during the first week of December 2019. I really enjoyed my stay! The room was beautiful and immaculate. The staff was polite and attentive without being intrusive. True professionals! Claudia in housekeeping was so thoughtful, sweet, and fun to talk with. She was one of the highlights of my experience. One night a super rowdy (and maybe a little drunk) group of people walked by the hotel and started yelling about something as me and a family member were returning late at night. Cassandra, the manager, stepped out from behind her desk to make sure we were okay. She really looked out for the guests. Zuleya (I apologize if I misspelled her name) was a complete doll and made the checkout process seamless. I will definitely be back soon!

I remember getting this place for my cousin when he visited for the week. Exceptional job from Malibu Beach Inn, just treating him right and making sure he was always alright. Great and friendliest staff.

Loved the view of the beach and saw a few dolphins in the morning starting my day off with positivity. The rooms were great. Hotel service was satisfactory and had everything we asked for

If it were not for the location, this place would have gone out of business long ago.

The hotel facilities are adapted to the price. The most surprising and outstanding is the treatment of the people who work there. Incredible every detail.

When in Malibu you must stay here the management has created a beautiful place to escape.

I deeply love to visit this hotel again for sure. No hidden charges compared to others! Highly recommended for both meetings and friends as well for having an excellent atmosphere. Great interior from the outside until the inside part. They strive to provide us the best service that exceeds our expectations as well.

I'm never disappointed each time I stay here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The sounds of the waves crashing are relaxing. The views from the room are unreal.

Super friendly services. Ask Sarva, the valet specialist, any questions you might have. He can certainly help you. The staffs at curb side take out are wonderful ladies with Excellent customer services. Check out their take out menu. Fried calamaris are great source of zinc for respiratory health. Grilled brussel sprouts are excellent for sources of super greens and anti-oxidant, especially essential during flu season. Fish and chips are always my kids' favorite. If you are watching carb's, one cheap day is ok. *___* The super friendly staffs gave me 3 FREE chocolate chips cookies. Super soft and freshly baked treats. Support local merchants and shop local. Keep employment locally. Cocktails, beers, & wine To-go. Try Vodka lemonade. You would be surprised. Digital payment and no touch Sanitizers are available.

We booked four nights at this hotel, and when checking in we were informed we had been upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony and sun deck. The view was fantastic, and the service from the cleaning lady to the front desk was top class! Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat yes, I would!

Flew down to LA for the weekend for a friend's birthday party. Malibu Beach Inn came up in an Expedia search and was perfectly located ~2 blocks from the bday dinner at the new Nobu. Some reviews were concerning but that appears to be an artifact of older, pre-renovation reviews mixed in with more current ones. Really nice renovation of a PCH side motel. Quite well done. Room was furnished well, with great beach views, gas fireplaces, etc. Looks like every room has a beach view, given the layout. Nice staff. Great small deck for sitting above the beach and surf. Good place for a short weekend getaway.

Lovely place. Courteous staff...until WE made a mistake. In a rush to attend family event, left behind 3 articles of hanging clothing. Immediate and multiple calls asking for their help - no one ever got back to us to even say "too bad". CLEARLY our mistake but sad that a 5 star hotel chose to hope we would go away.

Fantastic hotel, wonderful service, and terrific restaurant facing the ocean. I would recommend to anyone. Really awesome location too. Rooms are immaculately designed and maintained.

The BEST place to enjoy a beach front meal in Malibu day or evening or night!! Perfect date spot too!

Super personable staff and beautiful views from the rooms. Fireplace and private beach were highlights. Views really can t be beat.

The location is really good. The patio overlooks the beach and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore makes dinner an incredible experience.

My husband and I stayed here for his 30th birthday trip to Cali. We absolutely loved everything about this place. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The suites were roomy, comfortable and gorgeous views. The accessibility to nearby Nobu, the pier and other dining options not to mention the beach accessibility was a huge plus. We valeted our car and never used it the entire time we were there. The complimentary chocolate chip cookies were to-die-for and we were thrilled with our dining experiences at the hotel. My husband has celiacs and they went out of their way to adjust the menu offerings and preparation to ensure that his allergies were not triggered. We hope to come back and stay again sometime in the future.

Incredible place to stay great rooms and location. Lots of attractions nearby. I've stayed here over a dozen times.

The hotel has been refurbished and I find it charming... Part of the charm to me is this "old smell" that still lingers. It may sound strange, but there is something nostalgic and comfy about a place that reminds me of my great-grandmother.

Excellent hotel, its sea view is the perfect complement for the stay, the food and cleaning were expected, the user attention was excellent. Highlight the order and cleanliness of the rooms.

It's right off of the water so it has great views, you can even see the pier from many of the rooms. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with a comfortable couch and bed and a large screen TV. Not a ton of closet space, though. The room I was in had a deck with a view of the pier, which was really cool. The service was excellent, you valet parking and they take your bags up for you as well. It took no time at all to check in and they have a really great room service menu, as well. Overall, I loved it.

Nice accommodations. Simple, but adequate. Because it was open air, it reminded me of a motor lodger on the side of the road. It was really noisy. The service at the restaurant was terrible. We stayed a few days and they messed up our order repeatedly. The wasn't apologetic. It took a long time to get our good even though it wasn't crowded. Three food was heavy and greasy. There wasn't much innovation on the menu and not a lot for vegetarians. It was the low point of our stay.

The view is first class, everything else is rather secondary.

This luxury property is beautiful. The Malibu Beach Inn staff and management are professional and well mannered. And the suites have great Pacific Ocean views and the restaurant is five (5) stars too.

Great views, great service. Food is a bit over priced for the taste and portions but I guess you are paying for the view! I would go back!
