Smelled good, and delighted the pallet. People were down to earth and so were the prices. Large selection of lively beers if you're into that sorta thing. Groovy joint.

We hit Raven for Valentine s Day brunch. The food gets 5 stars but the positives ends there... so kudos to the back of the house. The front of the house was a disaster. Pro tip: they make you order and pay before sitting down. DO NOT TIP WHEN YOU PAY. Wait until after you sit and eat so you re not frustrated that you gave a great tip for terrible service. Essentially you don t have a waiter; there are only food runners, cashiers, and bus people. No one comes to refill your drinks, check if your food is okay, or if you need anything. If you need salt, pepper, extra napkins, a to-go box, or anything else... be prepared to get your mask back on and go up to the counter to ask for it. If Raven whipped the front of their house in order it would be a great place to eat. Until they do, save yourself the frustration and only go here for take out.
Beautiful cafe lobby and balcony dining area. Live music on some days. They have a great selection of foods, coffees, and beer!
Great spot for a beer, and the menu is tasty and creative! Nice, relaxing vibe with a decent band on a Friday. Would absolutely recommend!
The food was great!! Entertainment was relaxing and refreshing. Loved the atmosphere! Great place to meet up with a friend or a date!
Great mix of organic dishes, and a rooftop patio that should not be missed.
Food and beer are great! I don't go thee much anymore because seating is usually difficult to get and I don't enjoy standing in line every time I want a beer.
What a great atmosphere! The food and beer were excellent as well!
Back again and for breakfast this time, Highly recommend the poutine bit you might want to share it with someone. Amazing at the time but doesn't travel well. Also there is nothing quite like a good beer with breakfast.
One of my favorite places for wine and dancing to wonderful bands local and from afar.
You can't come to Prescott, AZ without visiting the Raven. Craft Beers, Coffee bar, wonderful food and desserts, plus lots of entertainment from live music to movie nights and Drunken Shakespeare. A must for anyone visiting Prescott and a staple for many locals.
Loooove this place. Delicious food, great service, awesome patio.
Quite a different menu vs. the more typical American found in Prescott. Playful combinations of ingredients, and preparations. I had the panini, which is of capicola and provolone, spiced with pistachio pesto, on grilled chala. Wife had the meatloaf, a mix of beef and lamb, with tomatoes, mushrooms, feta with caramelized onions and mozzarella tossed in. Both were served up with fries. We felt both were tasty and well prepared, but not mainstream flavor combinations. Seems quite a popular joint. Chef visited the table, a very nice touch. Worth a repeat.
Great vegan options, trendy menu, lively atmosphere, not your typical burger and fries joint.
Great place .....good beer and food! I had a light beer called Chihuahua "something" it was really good!
Food was very good. Employees very friendly and accommodated our large group. Two things should be noted: 1. Portions are small 2.the kitchen closes over a hour before the restaurant
Excellent lunch, too much actually. Incredible beer selection. First time piano man was REALLY good, but his selections didn't favor the vibe or decor. Popular and busy with locals
Our early lunch was flavorful and prepared perfectly. Very impressed with the cook's skills! Relaxed seating areas inside and out with great staff.
Tasty beers & food at good prices. Breakfast is a winner with wide selection and fresh food. Happy hour offers 1/2 price on draft beers and wine - 3-6pm every day.. I think.
Excellent food, great casual atmosphere, and friendly staff!
The ambiance of The Raven Cafe is casual, food is great, beer selection is large and they change their art from local artists often. It is one of my favorite places in Prescott. There is also a nice rooftop patio for drinking and dining and various bands play there regularly.
Hot cocoa was scrumptious and the hummus impeccable! Loved the atmosphere as well.
Wow! Made my night! Great atmosphere!!!! Was looking for a place to go out on the town during my night in Prescott and landed here. Had a BLT sandwich with salad (I think it was all organic). Boy was it good!!!! Also enjoyed some drinks and some live music. Thanks for making my date with my girlfriend an enjoyable evening! We'll always remember that night in Prescott. Thanks for making it a memorable evening.
BEST "CAFE OFFICE" IN PRESCOTT
Make sure you come early to find ample parking nearby in the earlier hours of the day. Otherwise, on the popular Cortex street drag, parking may be hard to find, but well worth it for a visit to Raven Cafe!
Situated in an old style building with some history, Raven Cafe offers an ample choice of beverages and on-the-spot food fare to please the stomach and quench your thirst.
Great for lone travelers wanting to meet new friends, and with free WiFi and some electrical sockets to plug into, Raven Cafe caters to the "cafe office" away from home lifestyle better known in large cities like New York and San Fran. But a high-end cafe like this helps put an otherwise cozy Prescott on the map for places to visit - or even live.
With food to go with your beverages that you can have freshly made by the baristas, or bevs you can buy off the shelf, you can also have some really great food here to wash down with your tasty libations.
Stop by and relax, chat, or get caught up on your laptop work. Raven Cafe is the hip place to be in Prescott!
A little trendy and small/ cramped. Good food and drinks. I LOVE all the bands, movies and stuff they have going on weekly.
Great food, service and the roof top is the place to be for lunch. We recommend this place, its easy enough to get in and the front patio, inside and the roof top are all great choices to sit, but the roof is cooler! We will go here when we are in town.
Cozy Nice for a meal or coffee or cocktail. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Food is amazing, service is great. I always head in when I'm in town
Prescott is filled with must see, must eat, places. This particular one is a must eat must drink. Make sure you stop and enjoy this atmosphere... Like you stop to smell the roses....
Love the vibe of this place and the happy hour drink prices are terrific, as well as the extensive selection of taps! The truffle fries and brussels sprouts were way too salty.
I liked the chairs, and the burgers were good. But you need to fix cracked leather on chairs.
Very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Why eat at a chain? I thought our portions were reasonable. The breakfast potatoes were excellent, with a half-dozen different types and flavors.
Great organic menu. The chef will gladly accomodate anybody's special dietary needs.
Service is awful right now.
No servers. Have to walk down stairs to get beer.
After seeing their menu and looking further into their sourcing list which is proudly displayed inside, it seems this self-described 'organic cafe' is at the very best completely ignorant, if not delusional. Of the dozen or so brands/farms listed, less than a quarter were organic, and none of those organic ones were local. Considering this tally, the sign up front should probably say 'local or organic' rather than 'and'.
On their sourcing list were big-food corporate subsidiaries like Stonyfield (owned by Dannon), and Shamrock Foods (of AZ's big dairy Shamrock Farms), as well as some local producers that (regarding the ones with enough information online to pass judgement on) were hardly practicing any kinds of farming worth boasting about.
Pretty decent beer selection, and princess bride, can't go wrong
It's not a trip to Prescott without a stop at this restaurant. Amazing food and great atmosphere!
Great place for locally grown organic food. Place to hang out or get a quick meal. In the evening a younger crowd. Earlier is old crowd. Well worth the visit
Ambience is great, food was very fresh and excellent and we loved the rooftop patio during the day. They made me a great caramel latte and I'm very picky. Glad we found this spot in Prescott!
The woman who took our order had no clue what desserts where being displayed. She asked us if we wanted to have her ask what it was instead of finding out what you actually are serving to customers. Still we decided to order a braided pastry with chopped nuts and a chicken dumpling soup along with beverages. The pastry was covered with so much syrup it was inedible and the soup was lukewarm and had super tough dumplings. Hot tea was great.
Love this place! Great food and the environment is very chill. Always busy so go when its kinda slow.
Great staff, atmosphere and delicious food. Come thirsty because they have some tasty brews!
I've been hanging out at The Raven for at least 8 years, seen them go through menu changes and a pandemic, and still can't think of a place I'd recommend more highly. The staff is always courteous and the food is pretty amazing. Order to your taste, or just get the asadero nachos, which have impressed everyone I've ever taken here. They have an awesome selection of beers on tap (though I'd love to see more porters and stouts in the future!) The atmosphere and music are always superb, genuinely one of the best places to visit in Prescott.
Great food! The chili has great flavor. The duck wings are crunchy yet moist. Hell, the pb&j is delicious and the drinks are flavorful. Quality and the storefront looks and is pretty cool. Tuesday movie nights switch from more kid friendly to not quite but never pushes the line past being family friendly.
I see a lot of complaints about service. I have to laugh this isnt a resturant its a european style cafe or tavern with food. They have great food, can be busy. But the managers and etc are happy to help how they can. I have been there 4-5 times love all the beer choices and food
Good food. A little hippie. But great food. And beer.
Great better selection, good people. At least those I met.
I love this place! Great coffee, great food, cool atmosphere. Friendly most of the time. I've gone back again and again whenever I've been in Prescott and I look forward to going again in the future. They even have live music sometimes.
I am a coffee snob. Espresso drinks have to be just so, you know? If it's important to you the Barista will accommodate as the staff is so nice. Also, my breakfast experience in this place has never been bad, in fact, everything has been wonderful so far! 5 stars.
The food is good and the location too. The "We're a European Cafe" bit is a bit pretentious, but what ya gonna do?
Great coffee but breakfast menu too expensive for what you get.
I love the Raven Cafe. I've been many times. Their wahoo fish tacos are the best I've ever had. Their nachos are also delicious. The ambiance is relaxed, artsy, and welcoming. It's a somewhat busy place during lunch and dinner times, but it's worth the short wait. They frequently have live bands and events, and their changing beer menu is always refreshing. I really like the art they display on the walls that they also change often. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because they have their own versions of all sauces and sodas, and I dislike all of them. Besides that, it's a great place, and I highly recommend stopping in.
It was substandard even if it wasn't overpriced, tried the Raven Burger it was fine, nothing truly to write home about, bland meat not well seasoned nearly no garnishment, egg was over cooked, bacon was the only thing not ruined. The salad and the house dressing was something you could find on the floor of an Arbys. I don't eat fast food but I imagine this is what it tastes like. Beer selection is adequate probably the only reason people visit this establishment. Definitely skip the over priced McDonalds tier slop they pretend is food, go to any other establishment you will thank yourself.
.
Changing the review to one star because the response is a joke, and has made me sure never to try it again.
Let me start by saying the first time I went to Raven Cafe was about 7 years ago. Eating mostly (I'm not perfect) a healthy vegetarian/vegan-type diet, Raven had some great food options for me and healthier fare than most of the places in town. Over the past several years it has really changed. Both the menu and food quality has really gone downhill and the prices have gone up significantly. Also, liked the comfy couches and coffee tables they used to have and laid back feel much better than the dining room style now. Not sure about whether there was an ownership change or just a revamp- but I would just like to say as a resident who lives in downtown Prescott, the changes haven't been positive for my family at all. We used to eat there very frequently, but after several disappointing dining experiences and menu options getting fewer and more expensive, we no longer come to visit.
Waiters allow you to linger and aren't rushing about pulling your half-finished drink.
great atmosphere, great menu, great service, music, food, timing. GReat :))
Nice Vibe. Have Vegan, Vegetarian, and non plant base food. Food is fresh. Piano player. Very Nice.
Sandwiches, burgers and cold beer. Rustic atmosphere, nice people. Would recommend!
Breakfast bummer. Loved the mixed potatoes, but the broccoli omelet was supposed to be in a burre blanc. The sauce was completely broken and flavorless. It was like a clarified butter. I certainly would've skipped adding 3T of straight up butter to my breakfast. I will give them one more shot because of the great reviews and I will post a follow-up review.
Follow up: The description of the jackfruit tacos sounded amazing. They really were unimpressive. The flavors were all meek and nothing stood out. The portions for the price, yikes. I will say that it s expensive to use organic ingredients and I m so appreciative that they provide that option to our small town. My meal just left me unfulfilled.
It's a welcoming place, where you feel once of the family. There are a selection of fun party games for you and your friends to play while you wait or eat. The poutine and duck wings are both delicious. The wahoo fish tacos have a great taste with a nice spiciness to them. The jackfruit tacos were ok, I would have liked a little more heat. A full order of sweet potato fries are large enough for two people to split and come with a delicious dipping sauce. The rooftop patio had an amazing view of Thumb Butte. There's a trivia night on Mondays. Tuesday nights are movie nights. They also have live music most Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays they serve a brunch as well.
Very relaxing fun rustic atmosphere. The breakfast menu and food preparation excellent.
GF French Toast - was beyond yummy! Crispy and sweet. Didn't even need syrup but their syrup was great too- molasses taste and they served a side of berry jam that was lovely. Americano was great and they didn't care if I warmed it up after awhile with some of their house coffee.
Lots of locals go for breakfast and are known by name.
AMAZING place, I love it. If I ever have enough money to make my own place I will make it similar. I love the eclectic atmosphere and the staff and friendly. I like that they have coffee, micro beer and sandwiches. The food and beer as always great here. Even the live music.
Great food, excellent beer selection, pub atmosphere. My favorite place in Prescott for lunch and a drink. The weekend brunch is good as well.
Food is so good here. Raven burger and sweet potato frys are the best. We eat here often when we are in Prescott. It Has plenty of seating and in the summer the roof tables are the best. Service is usually good when they are not too busy. Seems where most the fancy people go to eat and have their wine but who cares right.
This place serves really good high-quality foods with a ton of great choices. Personally I enjoy eating vegan quite often. This place provided a lot of interesting options and choices to choose from. It's an interesting place cuz it doesn't seem to fit the Prescott lifestyle but rest assured there are seemingly endless choices of beers and drinks mixed with terrific food make this an ideal destination.
Enjoyed every bite of my breakfast burrito! The many color potatos tasted as good as they looked. We also enjoyed checking out the local art on all of the walls. The lox would have been a better value if it was split on to two bagels, but they were still delicious. They also had a nice collection of drink options.
Great atmosphere, Raven was very personable, food was excellent , wife had vegan jackfruit taco's i had pastrami hamburger delicious ,would go back.
Great hippie joint. But in the way that a none hippie can go and enjoy themselves. If you don't get to the roof top balcony then you are missing half the place.
I love The Raven. Quality food, and amazing selection of beverages.
Very good, I would recommend to others. If you come here get the potatoes (they re amazing). Will be coming here again
The Raven burguers were amazing, the greens in the salad were fresh and very good. The Ruben had great taste, but not the spilling over, fat sandwich I always enjoy everywhere else. The bread was great, thick marbled rye, skimpy on the meat, it had a fatty stringy ribbon that was hard to cut and chew making it to alip from between the bread. The sauerkraut was almost not there.
This place offers a great variety of beers, sustainable & organic & locally crafted bar food (burgers, etc), noteworthy coffee, a pleasant bar atmosphere, a roof-top seating area, and a kind & friendly staff.
