This is the second move I have hired the professionals and it was just as great as the first! They were right on time, professional and so efficient. They got my 1 BR move done in 2.5 hours and made sure everything was put together and boxes were not impeding anything before they left. They took good care wrapping and moving all my furniture and even helped me take apart my table that I was selling and not moving. Great job!

The Professional Moving Specialists were unbelievable with Carlos leading the way for my move. They went over and beyond to move me fast but efficiently. This process always can be stressful but I felt out at ease immediately. I will definitely be using them again for future moves.

We just had these guys pack and move and two different days. They did an amazing job. Very professional! Really nice, we re super cautious of our walls. This was a 4th floor walk up to a SFH so it was hard work! They also were understanding to us not wanting shoes on our carpet and accommodated. Erving and his crew were the best. Erving did an amazing job handling the crew and leading and being our lead person. They also did the unload and unpack in 3 hours less than estimated!

This was honestly the BEST moving experience I have ever had. It was stress free, the right amount of communication and technology integration. I loved that I could submit for a quote online, someone called me, the details were emailed to me and my emailed questions were promptly answered. Day of the move the movers came an hour early, nothing phased them, they knew my new building extremely well (seriously I didn't have to even see the loading dock area or help them), and they were extremely efficient and respectful. My small town parents were there and they were blown away by how great these guys were and how seamless everything was.

These movers were fantastic, they helped break beds apart, pack hanging clothes, collect random miscellaneous items and pack them! Not to mention super friendly, very safe with our fragile items (2 75-inch TV's moved without a scratch or worry!). Would highly recommend anyone looking to have a seamless move, it was worth every penny!

This moving company was fantastic - they were the first to call me back after submitting for a quote online (other companies didn't email me back for days) and were very helpful on the phone. Setting everything up was a breeze. On moving day, the movers actually called to see if they could come early (of course!) and had the whole apartment moved before they were even scheduled to start! The movers were great to work with and nothing was damaged in the process. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience with Victor #2, Alfredo H., Juan A., and Reene. I had been referred to the company by a friend who had a great experience moving a couple years ago. The movers ended their prior job early so they called to see if they could come early to start packing up. They were extremely quick and efficient in wrapping up loose items (and gave me tips for packing more efficiently in the future without being judgmental) and got everything packed up quickly. I really didn't have to do anything besides tell them where I wanted my furniture and boxes at the new place. When they were moving things into my new place, Victor #2 was extremely helpful in pointing out areas in the unit and the hallway where there was preexisting damage so I could take pictures of it. The price was totally reasonable and completely worth the hassle-free move. I can't recommend them enough and will definitely use them for my next move.

Gabriel, Felipe, and Lino were fantastic! Much shorter move than expected (got everything moved in under three hours!) and were very helpful and friendly. I recommend them!

Moises and team are absolutely wonderful to work with. This is our second time having been fortunate enough to have them help us move. They shrink wrap every item is incredible care for the item to make sure it makes it to the other end of the trip.

We have used the Professionals twice now for our moves. Once for a move between two 2nd-story apartments, and another time when we moved into a stand-alone house in the suburbs. I was amazed at their ability to move even very large, bulky items like treadmills around narrow stairwells. They are punctual, fast, and take great care with your personal items. We have not noticed any damage, scratches or dings on any of our furniture post-move. Truly a pleasure to utilize their moving services. My big couch was my biggest worry since they had to move it down and up stairs. It was a very difficult move and they did a great job. They were fast, professional, efficient, and super kind. We hired the Professionals to move us from downtown Chicago to Lisle.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience. The team of Victor #2, Alfredo, and Martin couldn't have done a better job. They had the truck packed up in no time and the unloading at our new home was just as quick. Their efficiency resulted in a total bill that came in well under quote. I won't hesitate to call the Professionals for the next move in my life, and will request the exact same team.

Really top notch movers! They were efficient, communicative, respectful, and took care of my belongings. They moved incredibly fast and I felt the determination to make the process as painless as possible. I had scheduled 4 movers for $150 an hour. They showed up with only 3 movers which made me a bit upset and nervous it would take much longer, but they explained only 3 were available at that time unfortunately that morning. I didn t mention it again, but when we went to settle up at the end, they had decreased my hourly rate without me having to negotiate as such. So appreciative that they took the initiative to make my experience better! Would definitely recommend.

First time having Professionals help me move, great service! They arrive on time, and finish up very quickly, took very good care of my furniture. The wardrobe boxes they gave me were very convenient. I had a studio and moving distance was 10 mins drive, it took them only 2.5 hours.

It was easy to get a quote and the prices were very reasonable. The crew showed up on time and were very communicative. I was moving locally, and it went quickly. I will say there could have been a bit more consideration taken with packing some of the items, but everything arrived in one piece. Overall a good choice, especially for the price.

The team executing my move from The Professionals were indeed very professional. They were on time, courteous, worked quickly and efficiently but not chaotically, and were diligent to protect my items, moving them with care. Additionally, during this pandemic, they wore masks to protect themselves and those in my building.

In my experience, there are very few businesses who actually deliver exactly what they promise. Our experience with The Professionals was exceptional. A fantastic job done by everyone involved. Thanks again for the great service.

Estimate to move a 1 bdrm condo a distance of 1 mile was understated to what was ultimately charge. Estimate was 4-5 hours for 3 movers and a truck, but we (3 people) had to help the movers just to meet that 5 hour estimate which cost us almost $800.
-Shrink Wrapping was good, but when the movers got there, they said they had to shrink wrap all the furniture, we thought we had an option, but were thus charged for the shrink wrapping service for each piece of furniture. That added to the cost.
-If your building has an elevator, make sure you know if there's a service fee if they have to use the stairs for larger pieces of furniture. In our case, it was a couch down 3 flights of stairs, so we carried it down ourselves.
-Make sure everything is in a box, no bags of any kind are acceptable, even ones with a comforter. Their main office said it's harder to move.

Had we known movers don't carry anything without an extra service fee above the $120 an hour, we would have rented a truck, some dollys, and supplies and done it all on our own

I know it is very nerve racking trying to figure out which is the best moving company to use when moving. I have to say this company by far has exceeded my expectations. I honestly can say this is a great moving company with very professional and polite workers. I was moving out of a 2 bedroom second floor walk up unit and moving in to a 2 bedroom third floor walk up unit, they had me completely loaded and unloaded within 4 hours. They are very accommodating to your specifications of where you would like to have your boxes and furniture arranged. They break down your furniture for the move and reassemble it very quickly. They never wasted not one minute while on the clock. I am now completely unpacked and I can happily say that not one item was damaged or broken. I hope this review can help someone that is on the fence about choosing a moving company. That was me three weeks ago. I am so glad I chose The Professionals Moving Specialists to move me.

I've always used the professionals for movies, but this time the team (Gabriel, Noe, Luis, and Cipriano) were especially kind to me. This is the best moving and packing service in chicago.

We hired The Professionals for our move on July 12, 2014. The truly lived up to their name.
The entire process was seamless, from working with Kelly on the estimate using their awesome online portal, to the day-of efficiency of Victor and his team. The estimate, by the way, came in way under some of the other companies I contacted, and our final cost was less than the estimated cost.
The team showed up hours early after calling to make sure we were ready for them. When they arrived, we were still packing a few things up (because we have a young baby, we were much more disorganized than normal). The team was understanding and patient, and got right down to business working around us. I was amazed at the speed with which they wrapped our items and covered them to protect them from the rain. It was rainy, hot, and humid, but they worked tirelessly.
Though they were on the clock as far as our final cost was concerned, they never showed any sign of stalling or wasting time. I never saw one of them break for anything. They did not break or scratch anything, and they took all of our furniture apart and put it back together carefully. They made sure each item ended up in the appropriate room and that nothing in our new home was damaged.
We were incredibly happy with our experience with The Professionals. Hopefully we won t have to use them again, because moving is just the worst, but we would recommend them to anyone.

The Professionals Movers certainly lived up to their name as professionals and took great care of our stuff. The moving crew was extremely courteous, hard working and friendly even though it was in the mid 90's. We've used other moving companies from small to big through the years but these guys were the best - by far. We would definitely use them again and we highly recommend them.
