Luxury hotel in Bangkok. One of the best buffet breakfasts I have ever had. The hotel s amenities are fantastic, and the location is excellent. What stood out the most however was the service. 6 out of 5 for their service!!! Everyone in the hotel is incredibly helpful, respectful, and just great with making you enjoy your vacation. Oh and the concierge has excellent recommendations, EXCELLENT!
Very grateful for Vanessa from the concierge post. She immediately dropped everything to help us get a boat across the river. She was extremely professional and was a great representative of the Peninsula brand.

An amazing hotel. The rooms are large and fully furnished with everything you need. Super comfortable bed and bedding, great TV with lots of channels, good WiFi, and fully appointed bathroom. Great pool area, including a quiet pool zone if you want to get away from rowdier guests or children, 2 spas with lots of diverse treatments, and some great restaurants including a traditional Thai restaurant done in a beautiful style set on the riverbank. Afternoon tea was pretty good and The Lobby had a nice view of the river. Not as luxurious as HK though. Didn't serve milk nor lemon with tea, and didn't have Splenda.

Located by the river, the view was great. The traffic is a bit inconvenient, but it is like a resort in the city.

Might be I was expecting a higher service standard by their chain, The Peninsula Bangkok was only on par with any other 5 star hetels.
I can only remember their 29th floor riverside view and the limousine ride round trip from airport.

The Peninsula Bangkok is like a home away from home.
I was concern about the location. Seems not well connected to the city or BTS. In fact the ferry solved all the problem. And staffs are nice and friendly too.

All staff is so nice & helpful they help me arrange everything needed for our group. But maybe just a lady at concierge counter was in a bad mood this morning. Other than that everything is almost flawless! Very recommend for a cozy riverside hotel.
Good service, good facilities, room is a little old, but is well managed and is pleasant. The swimming pool is also very spacious, and the pool bar is also available at an affordable price. Next time we come again to Bangkok, we think that we will use again 100 hotels.

Relax in Bangkok city
On the quiet side of Bangkok but have amazing nice night view of Bangkok city. Every room face to the river side and sunrise direction, very relaxing. Stay in Deluxe Suite this time, classic elegant and comfortable. Service is unbeatable. The breakfast on riverside is nice and must try their healthy juice bar, you can order tailor made detox juice or refreshing juice. And I highly recommend their "The Essential Mind" treatment. I always suffer sleepless, but I sleep very well after the treatment.
Hotel offer free boat transfer service, to the other side of the river, and also the new shopping mall, Siam Icon.

Hotel with a lot of charm (more than the Mandarin or the Shangri-La opposite) but not ideally located for the business traveler.
I stayed in The Peninsula Bangkok. It is far better hotel than many available. I like their rooms especially the suites which overlooks at the sea. Shuttle service to and from Asiatec is an excellent entertainment. The staff is definitely friendly. The hotel is in serious need of renovation as it is one of the oldest property. But still worth the spending. Their in room services are worth mentioning.
Almost perfect in everything. Feel historical. The location is not convenient enough there is far away from noisy area.
Their buffet is great. But the lobby afternoon tea set lacks savory snacks (only sweets) and overall appeal compared to other hotel s afternoon tea sets. Also the lobby staff must ve not been trained properly. The service was poor. When we asked what kind of tea they served the server couldn t answer us. When we asked for another cup to pour the fresh tea, they took away our existing cup that we were about to drink from without any explanations. Their quinoa dish was a bit too dry. We had high hopes for the afternoon tea set but were very disappointed by the content and the service.

Looks like luxurius hotel but the employee are thiefs, Be careful when the reception ask your credit card for deposit best to use cash and than card, cos without my signature to authorized they deduct my credit card THB 11000 which suppose THB 3000 for deposit only, I realize after I check out and the bills settled with my other credit card but then I found out from sms notification that another transaction occur on credit card I use for deposit fee and when I call the hotel the reception did not say anything to clarify but to put me on hold for long time.

A timeless Classic. Very quiet rooms, perfect service.
The room condition was a bit old, but it was well maintained and I really enjoyed lying in the outdoor pool and watching the Chao Phraya River. I liked the hotel boat ride, the rooms felt antique, and the breakfast room and full bar food was ok.
One thing that bothered me was that the telephone in the room seemed too old... but the hotel was old and it was over. Overall, it was a satisfying place..!
As soon as you walk into the Bangkok Peninsula Hotel, the service is very thoughtful. The peninsula is not a big question for the five-star hotel equipment service. There are traffic to and from Saphan Taksin BTS from 6am to 12pm. The boat is very convenient, the pillow is really good to sleep!
It s just that there s no coffee in the room. The shuttle boat to Asiatique is only available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It s a long way to go from the gate to the road.
From the peninsula, go to The Jam factory (10 minutes walk), Lhong1919, warehouse 30 (crossing Si Pha Ya pier from Klong San Pier) and go to Chinatown after the other side.
Can t ask for more, luxury beyond what we expected :)

The hotel does what it says on the tin. Only certain guests have no idea how to behave in such a place. The staff just great prices match the level but justified. I can only recommend it.

All right, except for the Royal Palace and Khaosan Asiatic Sirocco Siam, the rest of the tour is a bit far away, so it's better to think about it!! You have to go to the concierge until you get a ticket. It's on a first-come, first-served basis. You don't get a ticket even if there are seats.

I think this is one of the most fab hotel I have ever visited! A quiet hotel in the middle of the noisy city Bangkok. We enjoyed early mornings at the pool, tea breaks in the afternoon and wonderful night drinks. The Shangri-La hotel is located on the other side of the river and a small boat goes from the hotel across the river for free. We had a nice room with a amazing view of the city. A bit expensive, but its worth it!

My wife and I have visited Bangkok a number of times and have stayed at a number of hotels along the riverside but by far and away our best experience is always at the Peninsula Hotel. It's not the cheapest, but the service and standard of accommodation and facilities are second to none.
