Famous steak and seafood restaurant near Staples center. Fabulous food, and the ambience with so many famous faces on the wall is well known. That being said, the service staff is the main reason why I keep returning. I look forward to visiting, great food and wonderful wait staff. Should you want your day brightened up and a smile on your face, ask for the waiter Hunter. I promise you you'll want to take him home with you.

The service was quick, the menu is massive, and the food is out of this world! My favorite is the spinach and mozzarella ravioli with alfredo sauce. I'm a creature of habit so this is literally the only thing I get every time I come. I can't help it, it's so damn good! Anytime I've brought even the pickiest of friends to this place, everybody has left satisfied. They also pay directly at your table with a fancy iPad and credit card reader, so everything is very efficient!

We had a graduation party with a group of about 15. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, the table looked great, the staff was perfectly attendant despite the size of our group, the food arrived quickly and was hot and all very good. I have no complaints or criticisms whatsoever and would heartily recommend The Palm, which substantially exceeded my expectations on every aspect of our meal. Our thanks to the entire staff for making a particularly memorable event even more memorable.

First Time at the Palms. Not my Norm. I dont like resturants, that gives that typical ( This must be Los Angeles) But i actually Enjoyed myself. Our waitress was nice, and she understood, that i had no CLUE about Italian words. I had the Lobster soup(bisque) spell check. That was amazing, creamy, light. I had a baby kale salad, Cesar styled, but i should of went with baby kale salad, that had cranberries. (Again FIRST time, here) Main course i had a Chicken parmesan. on the menu, it shows different.
i had Desert ( sure did, judge away) Key Lime pie... oh my goodness, if you like tart... its GOOD
Looking at my family plate, i should of gotten the carrot cake.... yes i sample... Yes it was Amazing.... its a huge slice....
Hope this help..

This is such a unique experience--you have to see it to believe it! The food is basic and very tasty. Great sandwiches (and they serve breakfast too). Choice of French dipped beef, of course, and lamb (yum), or pork. All the sides and dessert. Everything is made on the premises and served by waitresses, some of whom have been working there for over 30 years!

The first time we got here base on recommended of friend. It was not crowded on Tuesday night. We ordered the oyster and it was fresh and delicious. The other dishes were kind of on the salty side but still enjoyable. The dessert was great! More

Holy tamales why haven't i found this place sooner?

Tried the Kalafel Salad [kale & falafel obv]. Literally drooling my tastebuds off as we speak. 3/4.

Came in and all the guys working today were all very nice & welcoming. Excited to try their lulleh kebabs, hummus, and tabbouleh!

Have a feeling this is going to be my new favorite lunch spot.

located in a small plaza and i think this has the same owner as the korean market next to it. i personally like their original fried chicken because it is flavorful just as it is and they also give you a side of dipping sweet and spicy dipping sauce. their beef kimbap is yummy too!

A good place. I considered the atmosphere really charming. Try the enormous array of fantastic appetizers. I had to take away one star because all the time, the waiter kept looking at me weird.

Service was friendly and prompt. The food was good. I loved the white walls and tall ceilings but it was so loud!!!

The pastries were incredibly beautiful. Felt like I was in Paris. That's never a bad thing for me.

What a place! When you are impressed by the service, atmosphere, and the food then you know you got a major winner. The service was beyond amazing and attention to detail! The atmosphere is breathtaking from the high ceiling, marble like floors, and the architecture of the building. You feel like you should be taking glamour photos on every corner of the place! The Food will leave you speechless.

The noodles were freshly made, you can see the cook doing what they do for noodles here. Did the shrimp tempura bowl, really good both flavor. Also tried the shrimp onion over rice. Both were enjoyable.

Good steak and sides! Bread basket is perfect. Employees are very nice. The restaurant is very dark and hard to read the menu. The ambiance is amazing! Over all a good place to eat as a couple or a larger group.

Perfect. I had my graduation celebration here. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch . I highly recommend the salmon with a side of mushrooms. Or steak with potatoes au gratin. You really can't go wrong. But whatever you choose, do end your meal with the donut holes. It's the perfect finish.

I thought this place was all hype at first.

I thought this place was all hype at first.

Whoever does their marketing strategy is doing a great job because the line is usually always wrapped around the corner.

This jones effect literally draws attention and people inside the door.

I will admit it's a pretty expensive hot dog, but it's right off campus of usc and has the ambiance that caters to the LA locals and the vibe that attracts the younger crowd.

This is truly a treat! I like to go here for special occasions with special people. It has been a tradition in my family to come here to celebrate. Love the food and the drinks and the service is excellent. My dad always orders a Dirty Martini (3 olives and 3BAR OLIVE JUICE) I usually get the same with blue cheese stuffed olives. Gotta be one of the best in town. Go with the filet mignon.

Food was fantastic !!! Service was impeccable .
Let me start off stating I came her with my friend and we had order 5 plates to share. After each dish was finished they would come by give us brand new dishes and utensils . My server must have came by 5-6 times to fill up my water without me even asking . That's quality service !

We started off with the pork belly dish which had sliced cucumbers and strawberries . That added a very nice sweet and crunch taste to the pork belly , this was my favorite dish. Next came the pizza , which happened to be my wife favorite dish of the night . The bone marrow here was also delicious !
I wanted to try the cavatelli pasta as it seemed to be a fan favorite on yelp . Last dish was the porterhouse with pineapples and oh my !!Everything was so flavorful !! I will be back !

I had the veal Parmesan and my friend had the steak (I can't remember which one because it has been too long since we went there). It was lunchtime, but we were set to have a big meal, so the waiter kindly accommodated us and allowed us to order from the dinner menu. Everything looked so good, but in the end we didn't have enough room for dessert. Everything about the Palm is classy, and the staff were very friendly. Oddly, less than a month after eating at the Palm for the very first time in Los Angeles, another friend and me went to dinner at the Palm in DC, where I live. It was livelier at dinner, at least in DC, but both restaurants are fantastic. Please go and enjoy for yourself.

On game days it's noisy.

The steaks are usually done properly. The service is usually good but is prone to some lapses.

Frankly, Morton's on Figueroa is an all around better experience.

I decided to try this place based off recommendations from our local page on FB. I tried chocolate chip cookies, the pistachio almond croissant, and the olive rosemary bread. The bread was delicious, I paired it with wine braised beef dish. The cookies were delicious as well. The star of the purchase was the pistachio almond croissant. The crumb was beautiful and amazing. The filling was just right and accented the croissant instead of overpowering it. Same with the cookies, they were sweet but not overly sweet like many other places. I will definitely be back to try other things, and especially be back for more croissants!

I really appreciated this place, the food is impressive, and also the restrooms were tidy. It was a little fridgity indoors, really was not the best. The food serve is great too. I will absolutely take into consideration going back once again if I get the chance. Me and my friend ordered the pizza and we were not disappointed. My one idea is to keep the cool exterior. Till next time!

Came here last Sunday night for just 1 drink.
The bar was empty, just a couple drunken older dudes chatting with the drunken braless blonde bartender. Stood there for a good 5 minutes watching their douchey conversation unattended. Seeing how she wasn't willing to sell me a drink i just left and went to bar none(empty as well) across the street and got a drink within 20 seconds.

Yoooo! This place is really all the hype and some.

Have some LA Street Food cravings but don't know where to go? Don't know who to trust?

This is the place!

I came in here on a Tuesday afternoon when looking for a lunch option near the USC area.

A hip place in a quiet residential area. Hipsters's food and beverage are served but are a bit pricey. Close to the beautiful city library and easy to find a parking. Metal chairs are a bit uncomfortable for a person who wants some work done while enjoying a coffee and a cake. Overall a pretty good place for a leisurely weekend.

This place really knocked my socks off & is easily now my favorite Italian place in Miami. The BEST chicken parm I have ever had. Anywhere. Period...end of story. It comes on a bed of homemade pasta that is dressed in olive oil, garlic and pepper. Simple, but executed to perfection & delicious. The chicken itself could not be more perfect. Crispy, juicy and coated in a layer of melted mozzarella and a delicious tangy red sauce. I just can't recommend this dish enough. It's the best meal I've had in Miami in some time. My wife got the squid ink risotto with shrimp and it was superb as well. We had the salmon carpaccio and fried calamari for appetizers and both were good enough to get again.

Wow!

This hidden gem made our Valentine's Day Night! We recommend the Scallops to start and followed with the Double Cut Steak or the Lobster with Garlic Spinach/Garlic Mashed Potatoes/Asparagus Fritatta and don't leave without some coffee!
