Always delicious! Come for the food, stay for the ice cream!

OMG!! The Ice Cream tastes like it's homemade! From now on we'll just take a short drive to San Francisco Creamery.

Ice creams are enormous and tasty. Place is a little dingy though. Also a teenage hang spot, so it can get rowdy.

Everything about this place is just excellent! I've, um, studied ice cream coast to coast, and they do a great job! The ice cream is outstanding. The sundaes are outstanding. The place is nice. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Worth going out of your way for!

One of my favorite places in bay area, i love the food and the ice creams are amazing, i love the chocolate lover's dream with hot fudge.

How can people not love this place. Me and my wife have come here for years, and we've even started bring her family here! Sometimes will come here for a sit-down meal, followed by ice cream. Sometimes we just have take out. Whatever you do you can't go wrong with the San Francisco Creamery. If you haven't tried it come try it.

Perfect food and great waitress (sorry) wait person. She was on top of order and it was the best bacon cheeseburger ever. Nice restaurant very comfortable, and as always the bathroom was clean as can be.

I love this place. Very friendly environment and awesome servers. I'm a Fenton's kind of person but it's so much less crowded and a quieter environment. Perfect for afternoon dates.

Really impressed with the Ice cream. Taste just Ice used too. The long line moves fast.

Only really good for their ice cream. Had a large-ish reservation, tables were not all the same height but were pushed together, still sticky, and the wood was chipped and gross. Food was ok, not great. We were the only group there for most of it, and they were slow even when we weren't, and it took more than half an hour to get our food. 1/2 of the ice cream sundaes came out already 1/2 melted which was messy and frustrating. Definitely skimped on the toppings. There are better, cleaner, places to go

I ordered a Swiss mushroom burger. The bacon was so hard and dried out it seemed as if was from the prior days food. I ordered the burger medium and it was so overcooked and dried out I thought it was old. If your going to charge $13 for a burger it should be good. Other than that, the dessert (ice cream sundae) was very good. But how hard is it to mess up ice cream? Iguess it's a good place for dessert, but food needs work.

Came in at 10:20pm.. No greeter. Severs looked at us and kept by passing. With 4 booths open we finally sat ourselves. TWO WAITERS FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGED US saying that carryouts aren't allowed to seat in the dining area even though we waited 15 minutes without anyone even acknowledging we were waiting. All we wanted was coffee and ice cream. Staff were EXTREMELY RUDE and even after asking for some coffee we still had to wait for another 10 minutes. NOT what I expected after all the awesome things I've heard about this place. If they didn't want colored people in there restaurant then they should've said "no colored people" at the door- then we wouldn't have bothered them.

The real deal. If you want hand crafted ice cream, it's Simply delicious, and so refreshing. Anything with coffee flavors in it for me. Yuummmmmmmmyyyyyy !!!!

The Food is awesome! The Ice cream was creamy and flavorful. The burger was not dissapointing as well. The flavors of the condiments complimented each other very well. Will be returning to eat more ice cream and burgers!

Big portion ice cream. Pretty yummy. More focus on size and toppings than really delicious ice cream flavors.

The Ambiance is always awesome and very celebratory, the ice cream is just totally Divine if you're looking for a classic location with classic flavors.

Hello everyone, we have been here for the second time and it is always a pleasure to eat this delicious ice cream.
Originally we have it on German TV at man versus food with Adam Richman.
Probably one of the reasons why it is always so full but it is definitely worthwhile if you are in the area.
Personally, I can highly recommend this and will also stop by again next time I'm in San Francisco.

Great place. Not only ice cream, though that is what they are known for. We went there, because we saw it in the the show " Man vs Food". It did not disappoint. We arrived late, so we couldn't eat dinner, but ice cream was just fine. Nice atmosphere. Throwback feeling and decoration. Easy to find. $$

Peanut butter chocolate ice cream and 3 little pigs. Not healthy but it's amazing.

Fun atmosphere. Food tastes great and ice cream dishes are fantastic. We had a party of seven women and we were on a time limit (haha). We ordered our dessert and lunch at the same time and asked that dishes come to the table as they are ready. The best way!! Have dessert first! Fun and Smiles

Let me just start with statement: I've been here in the past and it was a much different experience from my most recent visit. The service was decent but not great, the food was also Sub-Par AT BEST. I can deal with that, however my issue with my most recent visit was the total lack of empathy from the "manager/owner" Nanette-After we had lunch I had ordered some desert for my grandson and family. We all received our ice cream in a timely manner but I took one bite in and immediately regretted my decision, There was glass INSIDE my ice cream!!! I didn't even make a huge deal about this, After I took the first bite I felt something hard and crunchy inside my mouth and actually spit it out before I swallowed it. I notified our server/manager/owner, She had no sense of urgency or any basic sympathy after I showed her the chunks of GLASS inside my ice cream. But wait there's more... after receiving the check there wasn't any compensation for this horrible event, I can deal with the lack of customer service as far as comping a portion of the meal. However, I am in absolute disgust and outraged that the woman helping us didn't even APOLOGIZE about the glass in my dessert!!! How do you not have any human decency? How would you like to have glass in your ice cream and act as if it's no big deal and be so nonchalant about the whole situation!? I will NEVER come back here and I advise you to do the same, head my warning!!! Mediocre food, horrible customer service, and the worst; total lack of urgency knowing there was a health hazard in my food! Don't give this company your hard earned money...

This parlor has excellent ice cream, with many flavors to choose from. It has a nice atmosphere that feels like you've gone back in time. I have yet to try their burgers, but coming here for desert is reason enough.

Was a hotter day than we expected so we headed in for some ice cream. Got two of the regular sundays. We probably could have gotten away with one. The scoops are massive. Ice cream and toppings were all good and it hit the spot. Will return.

Nice atmosphere my son had the kitchen sink. It was enormous and even though he had a positive attitude was it almost untouched after 20 minutes. We other had sallads and they were also good. At the end we shared the kitchen the four of us and still it was parts left when we left.
