Don't come here for the food (especially fried items, such as chicken, fish and chips, fries, etc), but for the ice cream. It's neither the best I've had, nor the best balance of taste and value I've seen, but a good social experience. BTW, the shakes are not bad at all, but again, for the price, you're probably better served at Digger's Diner nearby.

Meal dishes are good upper mid level restaurant, but not really memorable. The ice cream is tremendous, as good or better than Fenton's. Consider as desert choice

Ice creams are good. I like their white caramel chocolate chip. That is the best ice cream. Other than that I have tried Cherry Vanilla, coffee flavour, and moose one. They were good too. Ice cream is expensive.

Last time I was here it was rather odd, the gal that was my server didn't bring the bill at the end, another server did. Otherwise, I must admit this place has a confusing name NOT LOCATED IN SF BUT IN WALNUT CREEK. An episode of my favorite food show was filmed here...Man Versus Food. Adam...Adam...Adam..

They have great grub here and excellent ice cream.

Very yummy food and not to mention, HOMEMADE ICE CREAM WITH WALK UP WINDOW!?! a must go-to if visiting the bay area.

They have the best ice cream! It's all made on site! Great service for a super busy little shop as well!

My must goto spot when riding the iron horse trail. Easy little diversion with an outside window to get a junior single dip homemade ice cream. Portion sizes are very generous so I always get the junior but my friends get the single dip which I think are huge.

Love this place! The ice cream is killer. The only reason for a 4 star is because of the bathrooms. If you're coming here to eat, use the bathroom elsewhere first, or plan on going somewhere else after. They are covered in graffiti and look like they haven't been cleaned in a few days.

I go here to get fat off of their delicious ice creams.

There is one certain long-time staff member who never seems in a good mood and has always denied any special requests. Otherwise lovely place for dinner and awesome place for ice-cream!

Delicious ice cream! Generous portions though a little pricy

Great kitchen sink but very pricy. 2 large Ice creams set me back 150 usd!

I got some bubble gummy bear ice cream. The have a couple tables outside, and they have a walk up window so you can order food. They do not have indoor dining at this time due to Covid.

Ice cream is amazing, absolutely top notch. Try something other than the basics, their specialty flavors are to-die-for, definitely worth experimenting.

Food was good, 3-4 stars, but you don't go the creamery for sandwiches and it's not the best option for the price in the area. Service here is always excellent.

Black and Tan with a crab salad sandwich. My wife and I had that at Fentons 40 years ago and the San Francisco Creamery has the exact same quality ingredients without the long lines and way more sunshine. It's our go to place after a day shopping or going to the movies.

The wings where overcooked and the noodles where undercooked. But on the other had the service was good and the ice cream was top notch.

Am I in Riverdale? this place is a dream! Our sundays and everything people where having around us were out of a comic book! Soooo good cant wait to come back!

They have many options to fulfill your craving for dessert. Shakes ice creams and much more. I like the place and the staff and environment.

This place has all kinds of good eats but I am a big fan of their milkshakes and malts!

Good overall, depending on the time and day lines can be long. The ice cream was good, not overly sweet or too creamy. The scoops are generous, good for two.

Best ice cream in a sit down restaurant that has a great and lively atmosphere. The best time to come is when there's only a couple of tables seated and you can get to know the people you brought there better.

I have frequented it a lot and whenever I go I go out full. The food is great and the ice cream is the best. For the brave, ask about the "kitchen sink" challenge

Went here with family. Great place for a bite to eat. Good selection of foods and Of course, Ice Cream. I enjoyed the Chicken Quesadillas and fish.

Went here with friends while I was on vacation in California. REALLY large menu, the icecream they serve ice is a good price for the sheer volume you get. I got the black and white, and I couldnt finish it, but I ate till I hated myself because it as soo good! Friendly atmosphere and staff!

Everything was awesome. We went for ice cream but also ordered a quesadilla and some french fries for everyone to share. It was all super delicious!

Yummy ice cream and tons of flavors. Good size portions. Food is meh! Normal frozen stuff, I only eat there if we are desperate for the kids. But go there for ice cream frequently

Wait time for a table was slow. Dinner food wasn't amazing. The ice cream however was the highlight of my night. The waiters were nice and took where patient when it came time for deciding on their many flavors of ice cream.

This place is amazing! Always with a fresh menu... don't just lock in on their ice cream because their food menu is on point. From specials like their amazing chicken pot pie or a regular staple like the crab sandwich or the three little piggies, flavor is never in short order.

Their myriad of flavors on the ice cream side is dazzling, but what they have in quantity, they match with quality. I have yet to see a flavor I don't like and needless to say, the kids love it.

Great ambiance and a great place for a party... the Creamery has everything you could ever want! Why arent you there yet?!?!

Always have a good experience here. The ice cream is delicious and very filling. Its a tradition when shopping downtown.

The signs for dine in and carry out were very confusing, we ordered, got our food and sat down inside. Apparently we had the wrong line, even though we were in a open booth in a mostly empty restraint. Okay ice cream and terrible customer service. We drove from downtown San Francisco to here because my wife wanted it that bad. Do yourself a favor and just eat at the most convenient spot for you, not worth any kind of drive.

If your blood sugar allows you to have a sugar coma sometime, do it here :)

My favorite cream shop.i drive from Danville to here just for their homemade rich,tasty ice cream.like no others.
I tried burger but it s not as good as their ice cream.
I gave 4 because every time while my family and I working on our ice cream they bring me a ticket without asking for.maybe we want to order another or something else.

Food is adequate, but people really come here for the large volume of ice cream at reasonable prices. Portions are large; but not outrageously large; plan on splitting a dessert if you don't want dairy overload.

This is a fun casual spot and a great place to head after dinner. The sundaes here are enough for 2 to 3 people.

Super yummy food but pricey and busy. The boys (teenagers) all loved the Jiffy Burger. Great ice cream! Would have given a 5 star had the waitress remembered our whole order.

Old-School Scoop Shop and Upgraded Options. I'm a huge oreo fan and any cookies and cream person knows cookies are better in ice cream. These guys get it. Run as fast as you can and get a heaping scoop of OMG. Thank me later.

Who honestly gives a bad review for an ice cream parlor. We came here a few years ago for the Man vs Food challenge...We failed at three scoops in. We were back but this time tackled the eight scoop creamy rich kitchen sink as a team. We did not finish again. The ice cream here is good! The $50 kitchen sink is not a typical order. Next time it'll be a sundae and a burger. The place also offer diner type foods. The fries was okay. It could use a bit more salt, especially when you want to cut the richness of the ice cream. This place was great the last time I came, it was great this past visit.

First time I went to this place was a few years back my brother visiting from Ohio he knew about this place even though I live here and since then we've been a steady customer great tasting ice creams

Almost always a line but it moves steadily. A large variety of flavors which is great and the shops are very generous. After dinner it's hard to have more than a junior scoop sized amount of ice cream. They also have a list of special flavors to keep an eye out on. Bathrooms in the back of the restaurant seating area if you need them.

No matter the time of year, this place will have the Sundae for you! Prompt, courteous, and pleasant staff. Great for birthdays, dates, or just because!

The sundaes are as good as advertised. You can try any of their three scoops combinations and be assured of not going wrong there. The only bit I would advice is to check on the toppings. We've enjoyed the sundaes minus excessive topping that can at times take away from the pure joy of their ice creams.
