Nice pub who I think we're perhaps caught out by the sudden sunny weather as it took an age to get served. Regardless a nice place I'd visit again.

Nice place good outside area, comfy seating inside.

Called in on Friday daytime for a drink and a bite to eat with my partner and I was very disappointed. I felt like a bit of an inconvenience. The staff were sitting around playing cards, including what looked like a chef. There was sighing and huffing and puffing when we wanted to be served and we felt generally unwelcome. We left and went to the Queens instead. Very bad customer service.

Just stopped for a drink and a bowel of chips. Nice atmosphere just be warned when using the carpark you need to register at the computer on the bar

Nice big pun in the nice village of horsforth, plenty of things to choose from with the Beers and food,also large outdoor beer garden ideal in this weather to sit out and soak up the good atmospheric surroundings

The pub does the best Pizzas in Leeds in my opinion and the opinion of many many customers. But the management company is going to get rid of the Pizza oven and turn the place into a steak house/ Bistro. Nobody wants this to happen especially the customers and staff. A very silly uninformed decision. They have already fiddled with the menu resulting in only 2 stars for this visit.

Awesome pub! Plenty of sport on the TV and quite a mixture of people

Got a fine for parking there even though we ate in there.

Pipes needed cleaning. Both pints I tried were disgusting. Nobody else was complaining though.

Nice pub, can get really busy. Annoying that you have to register your car every time you drive in.

A good pub with many choices for beers, the food is tasty and at the just price

Go there to watch the rugby. Always a nice atmosphere. Only problem is volume is always quite low

Pizza was very bland for a meat feast. Prefer a pizza with a choice of half or quarters with different flavours. 4 corners of fire was brilliant. But a more selective choice now. In my opinion not as good but each to there own.
Went once a week now more once a month

Top quality venue for reasonably priced beers and fresh pizza!

Food was excellent.. the chef was lovely when I talked to her about the pizzas.
As for the rest of the staff.. one word.. Rude.. particularly the manageress..

Shocking! The bar staff pay no attention to who was next to be served. Don't bother going.

Great pub good food, good drinks deals weekends busy plenty of tvs to watch sport. Definitely would recommend to my friends to visit the old ball staff are friendly and polite

Always a great night, summer evenings here are my favourite.

Lovely pub near the train station and situated by a roundabout. The beer garden is surprisingly nice and quiet given the main road. The pub is spacious, bar staff friendly and able to order drinks from your phone. Enjoyable

A well known and landmark of Horsforth. It's good without being outstanding.

The pub is really nice and with a lovely atmosphere. It also has a beer garden and plenty of complimentary parking (of you don't forget to register your car inside the pub). But today there was a 40+ minute waiting for food despite the fact it wasn't crowded and the staff was not precisely polite. It's a shame for a lovely place

Really liked this place. Staff were extremely friendly and food was excellent.
Quite interesting cricket memorabilia inside and also the pub sign is a set of stumps.

This is a really nice place. Got loads of outside space. Can be noisy as on a round about, but please don't let that put you off. It's a great atmosphere, and service is always been great. Never tried the food, so only can rate of drinks only. Deffo worth a try.

Average! The Queens has far more character. Beer expensive and limited choice. I'd describe this place as Beige.

Nice, bit of a chain feel about it now that it is a chain, but being able to get a real fresh pizza all day is an awesome bonus. To be fair, the "Italian Coffee" was nice too, made a nice milky latte...

Great place to watch sport. Been refurbished recently and it s so much better. I liked the pizzas they used to do but have got rid of the pizza oven so it s just standard pub grub now.

Good sized pub with plenty of seating areas. Busy pub with outdoor seating front and back. Bar staff pleasant. Prices a bit higher than other places.

Big barn of a pub with a limited outside area on the roundabout. A small choice of beers. They do pizzas which aren't that great. They shown sports on the TV, so good if you're out for that. Popular with students from the uni up the road. Close to the train station, so maybe worth a punt if your train is delayed?!

Lots of wasted seating area . Full of kids running round while parents sit drinking!! 1st and last visit...

Rude staff, spoke to me with an inappropriate tone . Not good cocktails, overall disappointed

Very nice settings for large groups. I haven't tried the food there. But not very much choice regarding ciders, only Strongbow or sweet ciders. It is very similar to chains without the variety.

A lot of builders at teatime. Watch the car park arrangements too.

Never been to this place but after hearing about what happened to my friend when she went there I d say it doesn t even deserve good reviews. I understand the owner wanting to protect their licence but for a member of staff to do that is not right, she will now never drink in a pub again.

REOPENED 24/01/19 after renovation .
I have only visited the outside so far , and that only from the exterior at night!
Part of the renovation appears to be two new smoking ? sheds at the front of the building . There s a large outdoor patio with chairs and tables which now is well lit at night . The car park to the rear is also well lit and patrons are advised to record their vehicle reg at the bar . There is a smoking shed by the rear door . This door is also the disabled entrance , and is flat and level into the building . There is also a handrail.
Disabled parking I found a little disappointing as there were three marked bays next to rear door but they were not sized out properly and a side loading wheelchair would have great difficulty due to the spacing between spaces not being adequate . My vehicle is rear loading and is quite large , but the space looked small. It s also a sloping car park and I shall return to assess the building and check out the interior .

Love coming here. It s always busy, great atmosphere. Brilliant for a bit of food, drinks and sports! Loads of screens. Best place for me in Horsforth with the quiz and music etc all going on. Staff are like friends, always remember your face and what you like to drink, a proper pub! Love that s it s my local

My partner and came for pizza it was rrally fresh and staff are ver freindly too

Good pint, big pub with a lot of space and seating. Not sure if they do food. Only had a drink.
