Surprisingly good food and interesting menu for a pub

Still very slow and disorganized service - but decent food. Nice environment but don't go when it's busy....

Great patio although when it's busy, assume you're going to wait 15 min to get your drink and 30-40 minutes for food. For example, family of 4 went yesterday at 6pm...waited 15 min to get drinks, 40 min for our pretzel app to arrive and 5 min later food arrived...wait staff is young so it's understandable that you're not coming here for the service

I love the food here. Always good. And Kristen is awesome with special events.

Why do people like this place? They serve mediocre, overpriced food. It is that simple.

A little pricey, but that helps keep out the young kids who can make a night out very annoying. The Office is a good place to have a drink in an adult atmosphere.

Love this place. Service is always great. I'm a big fan of the Buffalo chicken egg rolls.

Some good food items. Don't order non tradition Rueben. Dry no kraut and no thousand.

I went to this restaurant for the second time on Aug 13th. The first time, the food was good. However, the servers and hostess were extremely rude. All very young but terrible attitudes. We overlooked as the food was good and the patio was nice.

The second time--- the attitudes were equally as bad, but the service and food were horrendous. We were told 10 minutes for a table outside. A half hour later, we were finally seated, but not in a table - a high-top. Lo and behold as soon as I sat down I noticed several empty tables. My server moved me to a table. We asked for chips and salsa while we waited for our food. But the server said they ran out. Flash forward an hour - our food still hasn't arrived. Miraculously the server shows up with chips and dip as a consolation. Then the food comes - a grilled cheese (disgusting, by the way) and a burger. They brought the wrong burger, it was some sort of sausage/sloppy joe meat-mixture. Before the chips even came, the server apologized and said she was comping the entire meal. Then when the chips and food came, at that point, I was done with this place.

The rudeness extends to the hostess and girl working the bar yelling at guests for not checking in with the hostess, even though they were joining a party already at the restaurant (don't always assume...). The bus boy spinning his table rag in the air as he walks around...not properly cleaning tables...

No good. No thanks. I can look past some things, but rudeness, slow service, dirty tables, etc..it's too much. Better options in St Charles and Geneva.

We had a good time. Good beer. Good appetizer. Huge Ruben sandwich! Good service. Thank you.

Drinks were good and the food was great. You have to try the steak tacos!!! The steak nearly melted in my mouth!!!

Nice people waited on us. We had cocktails followed by nachos with pulled pork. It was really pretty good! The three of us were full enough from the nachos to call it a meal.

My only concern is that the tables seemed to be placed 6 feet apart but that is not enough to keep the participants at each table 6 feet apart. No one sat next to us so I still felt safe.

Awful...soup cold, shrimp over cooked, salad wedge swimming in dressing..staff nice BUT, didn't care when we addressed these issues..will not go back!

The place offers a large variety of delicious food. I like eating here. The employees are always super nice, prices are fair and the place is always clean.

Great soups, chili, pulled pork nachos, and good selection of beers. Service was excellent. Would definitely come back.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and the food and service was on point!

Had this place recommended to me by a friend when I told him I was going to a show down the street at the Arcada. It did not disappoint. I have since returned once and already have my birthday dinner planned here for me and my girl. Their Reubens are awesome and I've sampled a couple apps as well. Great beer selection,
comfortable room and the patio is awesome if you can get out there is the warmer months. It can get crowded but it's worth it.

I tried this spot already with my friend and I am hooked since then. I loved the great character and flavorful dishes and drinks. 5 stars.

Nice converted building with a small town vibe. The TVs were playing hockey, and the beer was cold.

The St Charles burger is pretty good. Now I love French fries. Here they're pretty good seasoned yummy. The selection of beers on tap could use an improvement (they should add the Weihenstaphan Hefe) to their selection of beers on tap! Great addition to any bar. I will visit again. Not a bad bar at all overall. The inside is very different from other bars. I like it. I will come back.

The buffalo shrimo is very good. But the service couldve been nuch better we waited for close to an hour for our food. The wait ruined the experience.

The hostess was not pleasant at all. Gave the impression we were interrupting her break. She needs to learn how to smile!

The food is delicious. The pretzel appetizer is ridiculously good!

This place has a nice ambiance, but that's about it. Food is mediocre at best.

Recently visited and the food was great.
Service was slow due to 1 server going back and forth from inside to outside,...
My main question is that when the server is all masked up, all the time, why is the bartender NEVER masked up , ESPECIALLY when she comes out to wait on a table ?
And I mean NEVER,....
This is poor [and dangerous] management.

Awesome Burgers. You must try the Office Burger with bacon. Pork with pork! Who wouldn't want that?!

Awesome beer selection and some of the best tasting burgers I've ever had. Had an excellent time with some friends!

Excellent food and drink. The pulled pork is very tasty. I had the St Charles burger. Definitely in the top 3 burgers I have ever eaten.

Great food and service. I have been coming to this place for the past few years and the quality of food has improved.

I went out with a party of of 4. 5 minutes after I received my drink, the waitress comes over with the drink I ordered and apologized saying the drink i had was for another in my group. Instead of bringing a fresh drink for the woman in my group, she slid the drink I had already been drinking over to her. I understand mistakes happen, but when they do, make it right. Get her a fresh drink.

I got a wrap with steak in it, when I ordered, the waitress didn't ask how I wanted the steak (which was fine), but it came half raw.

Apart from those things, the others in my group had baked mac and cheese and loved it. The mixed drinks are so weak I couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Prices are not listed in the menu. It's also overpriced for what you get, but are probably comparable to others in down town st. Charles. The music helped create a nice atmosphere, and was a good volume.

Some of the best fish tacos around! Not too greasy or breaded, just right. Their fries are AMAZING! Atmosphere is relaxed and casual and their outdoor seating is a great spot for lunch or dinner.

Good hangout atmosphere. They have a create your own burger option on the menu with a good amount of options for the cheese and toppings to really customize it to your liking. Their beer selection was pretty good. There is seating outdoors with some tables having an open fire in the middle for a nice ambiance (and wamrth).

Best spot we found in St. Charles. The food and drinks were great. The staff was phenomenal. The outdoor patio was nice and once it was dark they lit 4 gas fireplaces.

Definitely have had better food for less. Received menus that were kinda gross from prior patrons. Waitress was nice but other folks working were less than happy to be there. Nachos were good but cost over $14. This place has seen better days, good for a quick appetizer and drink but go elsewhere for date night.

Fantastic menu, not too long and all the food was very well done. Service is wonderful! Very kind servers as well! Completely reccomend you get the Lemon Chicken Entree.

As a local who lives in Saint Charles this is one of our favorite places to bring visitors for a drink or dinner! The patio is great!

Elevated pub food. Great salads, burgers, and fish tacos. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with bar top fire pits.

The server was so friendly and the food was super yummy! I had the baked mac and cheese. So good!!

The fish tacos were excellent! They have a moderately sized, nice selection of beer. The staff was excellent! Even when the hostess couldn't make it to work unexpectedly, the waitresses took over and still did a great job covering both roles. I will definitely be back. Nice atmosphere too.

Great service with great employees. Choose from eating indoors and chatting with friends or family at the bar or by eating at a table or a booth. Or also have the opportunity to eat outside and take in the view of Downtown St. Charles *weather permitting*

Great food, great service in an awesome atmosphere. My waitress, Lynnea, was fantastic. Last night they hosted the Coats for Kids benefit and they were packed but the service and quality of food remained top notch! Coleslaw is the best I have EVER had!! I returned tonight!!

The service here is usually good but on off days when no one is there it isn't very good. I ordered the pulled pork nachos with guacamole on the side. The nachos came buy the guacamole did not. I finally received it after asking another waitress who worked there. The atmosphere is usually very loud (there is a bar attached) and football games are often on. The outdoor seating is pretty and enjoyable during the summer.

I tried this spot before with my friend and I am addicted since then. I liked the awesome character and delightful food and drinks. Kudos.

Good waitress but bland food and takes 20 min for a brownie

My brother-in-law and his gorgeous wife had their wedding after party here and let me tell you, what a great experience it was! The staff were right on top of things especially when trying to handle the big crowd of people that came. The food was great and the drinks were potent! Great for the price! One of the bartenders was a bit on the rude side, but other than that, it was a pleasant experience!

Went on a Saturday night. Was very busy, waited 45 minutes for our food. The wrap I ordered was sloppy and not put together very well, it fell apart as soon as I picked it up.

Cool place in downtown and I really like the style and vibe. I've only gone to grab a drink there so I can't speak about the food.

This is a nice spot within easy walking distance to the river walk, the food is always great, and the patio is really nice.

Great place, try the big Reuben, you'll take 1/2 home for another meal, (if you're normal!)
