Water that tasted like bleach, wilted (borderline sludge) lettuce and dry chicken.

Should have listened to the reviews. Atmosphere was was typical pub type. Was not busy at all but waited 10 minutes before anyone said we could sit anyplace we liked. Server asked us twice if we wanted to order AFTER we already ordered. Then had to ask him twice to check on our food. When it can it was barley warm. I ordered a St. Charles burger rare but came out medium well. Server seemed more interested in talking with the other staff members then waiting on the two tables he had. May give it another go but probably not for a long time.

The hostesses were snotty & turned us away, & as we walked away one said to the other, "we dont let them in." Because one of us is a POC or because we were in bike gear? Really not cool. Luckily Crazy Fox is across the street & has a great beer selection & great food.

Service is slow, but I thought the food is pretty good. Nice patio for drinking outside..

Great Bar & Grill restaurant. Awesome Service & Attention to Detail. Loved the atmosphere that they have created. Great place for business lunch or networking event.

Nice place, what you would expect for a pub in a small downtown. Sunday crowd is fun, good service and the food was spot on. Menu is creative with something for everyone.

Steak was good. Cooked the way I ordered it. Mashed potatoes were pasty and thick. No flavor. Grilled veggies were awful. Service was very good. I'm sure there are better items on the menu but for the prices I would go somewhere else. Way over priced for the quality of food you receive.

Lil bit loud. My husband said seems likes there are some cats fighting cats inside with all the women screaming. Aside from that i enjoyed the food and good service from kaitlyn or katie. Frgot her name.

If you are a regular you are in luck. The drinks are good and I recommend the Reuben. If you are not a regular, plan on so so service. My pulled pork sandwich tasted like it was cooked in a crock pot. We sat there with empty water glaases (that was our only drink this time) for 15 minutes. meanwhile we watched three wait staff greet the man seated behind us, taking his order and getting his beverage. I left more than half of my food...no comment from the waitress.

Good drinks, but sit at the bar.

Nice place good food. We sat on the patio. The crew was great keeping up with the crowded patio. This duck was getting a free meal.

Nice deck for outside seating. Food is fair to good.

High covid risk here. Hostess did not wear mask at all. Some servers had masks pulled down. They sat us at high top with another couple, less then 6' apart. We did not stay. On our way out my husband asked to talk w the manager and was told they were not available.

We had to have the Office Loaded Nachos, it's just too good! Wood-fired bbq pulled pork, four cheese, salsa, sour cream and guacamole. Oh soooo good!!

Servers are not the fastest but the food was worth the wait. Great environment.

Please get real dill pickels to gowith the Reuben. Thats my only complaint.

Had our company holiday party here and we were very impressed! The service was always on hand and never missed a beat, the food was delicious and without end. We were on the patio which made for lots of room to mix and mingle. I would recommend to anyone looking for a hands free hosting experience.

The Office is the place to be.food and outdoor seating are great ! Me and my hubby go the every time we are in St.Charles.Highly recommended !

Waited a half an hour to sit outside...when there were clearly 3 different spots that were empty (when we came in), cleaned and had silver set......

Good was delicious. Our two guests who ordered salads were served last in an alarming amount if time though

Very busy but efficient staff. We sat at the bar for a couple beers and a Sammie while watching a game. The food was prepared pretty well, hot and nice presentation. Bathrooms needed a little cleaning attention.

Their daily specials are awesome. Homestyle portion too

Okay where there for a party. Food was okay service was slow, only 1
waitress. About 50 people. I felt sorry for her.

LOUD! Food good. Ran out of certain liquors. Service slow and confused.

Lemon chicken was very tender and seasoned just right. Great atmosphere and a good variety of drinks offered. There christmas decorations put you in the mood for the holidays.

Great food and great service. If you are in the Saint Charles down town area it is worth your time to stop in even if it is just for a drink.

Cool place, but the bourbon and IPA options were very weak in the private party room upstairs. They have the good shtuff on the first floor! Bar back that shtuff up the stairs already!!! Then, they ran out of the IPA that they did have.

Great food and drinks! Our server was so sweet and had excellent customer service. The only reason I gave 1 less star is because I noticed the bartender wasn t wearing a mask.

Food was terrible and waiter was nowhere to be found almost the entire time. Although the check was brought relatively quick much faster than our drink refills. Go here if you want a mediocre burger and have lots of time to spare.

Seated quickly but walked out after an hour and a half with no food, no explanation, and the manager hiding in the kitchen. Edit: This was on May 25th from 12:34 to 2:24.

After our last two trips here, it s obvious they need to hire more servers.

Food took a very long time to arrive and they forgot / missed an item. Ordered an ice tea, it never came. They have a beautiful outdoor area, long tables with gas fireplace stretching along the center of the table. However, when the fireplace is on, it is very Hot - not a great idea for an August night of a 90 degree day. Extremely uncomfortable while we were trying to eat. Also, there is no other lighting, so if you are seated outside, you need the fire to see. This took a beautiful setting and ruined the total experience. Some better / more thoughtful management would easily correct the issue.

The Office is a nice middle ground price-wise and atmosphere-wise. It s not overly fancy and it has a local pub vibe. We had a work party there and I was able to try a variety of delicious appetizers. There is not a lot of vegetarian options and the food is average. The Office is a great place to go for an afternoon drink and an appetizer.

Amazing place to gather! 5+ stars for the staff and ambiance! Didn't get to try the food, but would definitely return to do so. Thank you for a wonderful night.

The Office has a fabulous patio outside. I cannot wait to go back on a fall night! They have a great out door bar with a fireplace along the whole bar. Not to mention, the food was very yummy

Wanted the big table we re saving that table for a bigger group place was empty and stayed that way for our dinner. Anyone who thinks this is good customer service don t understand what good customer service is.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXWent to the office for some food and drinks and hostess sat us down in their patio, waited 42 minutes,waitress would say something or another to the other waitress and they would turn to look towards us and laugh!!!! I tried waiving them down but would ignore us. Finally told somebody and they never came back waited .. So we left... I always carry a timer with me the minute I walk in. No integrity in this place.
42 min.. imagine how they run they run their business? Quality of food? Or how they prepare it?
My 2 cents: DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE!!!!!!!!!

Great atmosphere, and good service.. I would avoid sitting near the streets outside though if u want it more quiet.. but other than that.. I see us going back there again.

Love the fish tacos. Burger is solid too! Only issue is they were really blasting the AC ... Bit chilly. This is basically a bar so it can get a bit noisy too.

Tap selection is solid. Several good local Chi taps.

There were no masks or social distancing by either patrons or employees.

Cute place to have a drink and get some decent food. They have a nice outside area with adequate room to sit in either high or low chairs. The outside fire tables are nice and add a good ambiance. The gas smell from the fire pits can be overwhelming if its blowing in your direction and that can be off putting.
The drinks have heavy our pour, which is nice, but it comes with a price.
Give it a try when you're in beautiful St Charles.

Large portions of very good food at a reasonable price.

We had our baby shower here, rented out the top floor. Absolutely beautiful!!! The food was incredible (chicken fajita bar) so so yummy. Did a signature sangria drink, and people raved over it. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, we will most certainly use this venue again! Everything was easy and went flawlessly.

Slow, slow, slow.
Walked in door at 6pm on a a Friday. Told wait time of 25 min.
Begged a server to take our order, got food at 740. Ridiculous..was late for an 8pm concert!
Food was cold.
Never again.

Good burgers and atmosphere. Outdoor patio is great. Centrally located in downtown St Charles

Service was great but the food was ok. It could have used more seasoning. However when we got there we had 30 mins till the kitchen was closing and that could have been the reason why our food lacked seasoning. Will give this place another try.

Good food, drinks and great waitress. Other staff very friendly.
